Great stuff Russ! Frank Crinite is one of one and is a trailblazer in the automotive industry! Thank you both for being AMAZING and supporting our blessed community of automotive professionals!
Just as a funny aside. At first I thought Frank had a World Class mullett going on until I zoomed in and saw the chair. Russ one of the greatest ways to improve is to learn from guys like Frank. Frank's insights can be applied across all industries.
From my understanding of how this guy sells. He is literally the face of the dealership. The sales man is the face of the dealership and people don’t necessarily work with him but they buy from the dealership because of him.
Frank, that's great advice!! When salespeople focus on the next sale, sales increase amazingly. It is hard to convince management to add the resources to make this happen, but there is a payoff when it happens. When my wife and I moved to Florida, the dealer I loved and worked for, said to me that he didn't believe that our sales would increase with the addition of a delivery coordinator, but he said he was thankful that I was able to sell him on the idea.
I love it!!! A delivery coordinator will increase sales. Our commercial department increased sales by over 30% after adding our delivery coordinator. When your salespeople work on the next deal instead of the delivery, your sales will increase.
My best month was 85 cars and all retails, and this is hard. This guy probably sell lots of cars to rental companies. There is no way he could sell 140 cars retails by himself. No way.
Being a strong operator is important. If someone masters intrapreneurship they can master entrepreneurship with the right opportunity presented. Frank is a strong intrapreneur and I'm sure when he has the chance to own a dealership he's going to jump on the opportunity.
@@andrewamaya8109 looks like he has zero advice for you. I have an interview with a huge dealership in my area area. They have Toyota Nissan Subaru, Kia, and Toyota all on one complex. Ended up on a journey because I was getting my daughter’s car an oil change and randomly heard a sales person saying he sold 30 cars last month and that should equal close to 30k and I’m like wow… I want in.
Wow Russ adopted the CDG podcast mode pretty quick. That aside I don't understand repeat business. I bought 5 cars in the last 3 years and I have never gone back to the same salesman, not even to the same dealership. Maybe I have not found that salesman who cares.
1st mistake someone makes when buying a car is not seeking a professional referral. Otherwise you get stuck with the new person who won’t be there in 90 days. They call you back, the answer your questions, they know their product. They know how to talk to you, understand your needs, respect your time, etc. A great salesperson is worth their weight in gold.
As a car salesman a huge part of my business is repeat customers. If a salesman can earn a customers trust by taking care of them, they will likely come back.
@@IK-gd3mt I keep hearing that but I have not found a salesman that I feel I should go back too. TBF I have never been called back by any salesman either.
Only way a great so called sales associate is that he is getting the price every customer is willing to pay, no messing around no scamming, this sales person sounds genuine too, hook me up with a HRV for 10 grand please out the door ( other dealers giving me the run around )
A lot of what he said was good but he also said that he saw 22 cars in one day back in the day and there ain’t no way in hell that he did that that’s just absolute crap
He didn't mention anything about Honda itself their DNA their philosophy and if he and his staff and the dealership or was in line with the product itself. Frank doesn't sell cars he sells a experience that has no ending .
as someone who has sold for toyota for the past 4 years, i havent seen anything like this in my life i bust my ass 50 to 60 hours a week to sell 15 to 17 cars a month. this.. is crazy
Daym I have a buddy of mine he in AZ who works at a toyota dealership that averages 45-60 cars a month and only works about 15-18 days lol all referrals too and to keep up with the demand the store hired him an assistant who does all the paperwork and stips
Andy Elliot who? This proves Andy is a sell out to the car industry and steals money for “training”. If Frank is making over a Mil a year how come he’s not a “sales trainer” LOL oh that’s right. Because he’s as real as a salesmen gets. Good stuff my man!
Not sure if they’re genuine but the salesman i work with are mostly skeemers that’ll do anything for a dollar. I came in doing business ethically and morally just to see all these ppl who would anything to take advantage of me. Coming from NJ i was selling 12-15 cars a month now in cali im at 7-10 only
Russ, I know you work for a Lincoln dealership and love them but do you think the Lincoln brand limits your sales compared to other manufacturers that have a younger audience? When I see Lincoln owners they are reaching retirement age.
yeah the talking i get it i want to see a daily or the real process day to day the one month market names highlighted i wanna see my sell the actually play by play so i can get a better perspective i like to see a go pro action on how to do this
the dealership does and he gets a lil piece of each sale, I was thinking the same thing......1 dude selling that many is impossible.....simply not enough time in a day to sell 7 cars
This sound like he ia a desk man. Nothing wong with that but the title is missleading. Why cant dealers open up and let sales people be like realestate agents and find customers the car brand and type they want. That would be selling. Now in this model we really just have to push more than sell them what would really work for them. Lets be honest we all know we push and masl it woth caring some people wabt kias and some want chevys. We should be able to be a rep for the customer and be their guide and sales person through the process instead of fircing them to buy the brand we sell. Would be a better experiance if we could sell what is best for the customer.
and his cars have low repo rate….and his close rate is 100%+. I’m questioning this guy’s relationship with the truth. Any bank that gives that rate for a 5xx score is losing money. I guess manufacturers can offer incentive rates on the back of sales profits but stand alone banks make their money solely on the loans. Even with incentive rates, I don’t see how a 5xx score would qualify you, but I’m not in the business.
Some new car dealers don't sell 140 cars a month with a with 10 salesmen. If this guy sells 140 cars a 140 a month he would not have time to talk in your channel. BS AND MORE BS
As a buyer, I don’t think I’d love the experience with this salesman. I guess I just want the best price and will shop around on the internet and then call dealers with the best advertised price and have them give me the otd price I’ve text/email. Then I shop around knowing what the next dealer has to beat. I won’t visit a dealer until the deal is done except for signing. Sounds like this guy is selling ‘experience’ more than price and I don’t see how that’s appealing on such a large scale. Also, this guy has a 100% closing rate???
Great stuff Russ! Frank Crinite is one of one and is a trailblazer in the automotive industry! Thank you both for being AMAZING and supporting our blessed community of automotive professionals!
Needed this. almost gave up last week, when leads got stolen because i’m new. that was my first month. and the check was discouraging.
How’s it been going
How much was that first check

People + process + product = value. Customers will pay for value every time.

Great insight - nice to hear the work life balance. And love how he leveraged his role.
How’s it 38 min process? Doesn’t the customer need to test drive the vehicle. That alone can be 38 mins not including the demo.
Every car salesman f and I manager should watch the video he did about a full shift it’s amazing
What got me wasn't his sales ability, but the sheer time management

People will ALWAYS pay more for better service, a better process! ALWAYS!
Two great dudes! Funny thought: 98% of the people I tell not to buy a car, just go buy a car somewhere else. Wild times.
Do you guys think of what will happen when manufacturers sell directly to consumer like tesla
Sales would go down so much that vehicle manufacturers would go broke.
