I found out 3 days before Christmas that I will no longer be on payroll for a restaurant group that I have been a managing partner in for 7 years. As of the 1st of the year I will have no income. I just turned 40, married with 2 kiddos. The first thing I did was applied for every sales job I could find solar, roofing, remodeling, and car sales. My best tip is don't be nervous, be confident, people trust you wayyy more when you're very confident in you're decision making and you're answers to questions. You got this man!

Yes, I called all of our customers from 2020, the entire year, called every single one, got four leads. I don’t know if any lead to a sale, but it was my first day of work.
I'm switching carrier paths. Once my OL comes through, I'm gonna start at Toyota. I love Toyota and I believe I'm going to be the best at it. I've been learning all the specs of every vehicle and am watching videos like this. Most of them are very off putting to me because they don't match my style or energy... except for this video. We would sync up very well. Opposed from all the super valuable information you packed into this video, is there any advice you would give a 47 year old GM starting as a noob in car sales? i was a porter but my manager thought i was too much of a introvert loser and my porter manager fired me. i wanna go all in and break the ice talking to customers and selling cars. never sold anything before never been in customer service. but hopefully a different dealership can provide training
At my dealership we don’t offer more than it’s worth we’ve been sending out mail ads for cars that we sold and they come in as clean as can be and we lowballl the crap out of them. I had two come in today and we wouldn’t budge. I did the walk around with them and they don’t want to sell them or trade them in . We’re nowhere near ACV. When I follow up and I open up that idea they end up going somewhere else and selling it for more or get more on trade in value

One thing I struggle with is personality. Was bullied most my life and brought up in the hood so everyone is programmed to be heartless and rude talking with no empathy or emotion to others struggles and I’ve fostered this mentality and lack of emotion but not sure if you can reprogram your emotions to laugh properly and bond with people :/ Genuine question because at the moment I am truly unsure if you can and that’s coming from belief and heart
Man I don’t even get 25 leads per month at my dealership 😂😭 our whole stock is 78 cars and there’s a dude who’s been there for 25 years and every time someone has quit he took over their accounts so every repeat customer goes thru him, he doesn’t even greet people or answer phones, just has so many reoccurring customers and contacts he sells shit every day while me and the other new guy are left with walk ins and online leads that are usually shit, still doing alright and working the options I have well just sucks to not have that kinda opportunity

One thing I struggle with is personality. Was bullied most my life and brought up in the hood so everyone is programmed to be heartless and rude talking with no empathy or emotion to others struggles and I’ve fostered this mentality and lack of emotion but not sure if you can reprogram your emotions to laugh properly and bond with people :/ Genuine question because at the moment I am truly unsure if you can and that’s coming from belief and heart

Man I don’t even get 25 leads per month at my dealership 😂😭 our whole stock is 78 cars and there’s a dude who’s been there for 25 years and every time someone has quit he took over their accounts so every repeat customer goes thru him, he doesn’t even greet people or answer phones, just has so many reoccurring customers and contacts he sells shit every day while me and the other new guy are left with walk ins and online leads that are usually shit, still doing alright and working the options I have well just sucks to not have that kinda opportunity
