Solid. I’ve always thought that, if so given the chance to fly any civil jet of my choice, it’d be a 737. Such a little superstar.

I personally don’t fly into St Marteen, but I got to agree with you the approach for Rwy 10 is a very nice one
I know that 1800m can be considered a short landing but search for Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport in TH-cam. The main runway is only 1300m long and it is one of the most busy airport in Brazil with a lot of 737, e190 and even the a320neo taking off and landing every day! Hahahaha Anyway, such a great video!!
You’re right, I have seen videos myself of 737s landing there; the shortest runways I’ve landed on are respectively London Southend (England) 1602m and Dortmund (Germany) 1700m :)

Isn’t it 2250m at Leeds?
Its 1916m (LDA) for RWY32 and 1802m for RWY14 :)
It's actually a longer 2250metre in length which in the UK is fairly average length runway, so an ok length for the likes of a320, 757,737 but not suitable for a fully loaded 747,777 and the like, although those types can still use it.
That is correct, the runway length is 2250m but you can’t use all of that, the Landing distance available is 1802m !
@@AviationHubOfficial think 1802m is landing runway14 but 32 is about 100metres more, they need to move the runway 32 touchdown point back 300metre or so to the flat section of runway, this would dramatically improve the runway
@@easydrive3662 Again correct, yes please! And by the sound of it I’d say you have been there plenty of times; and I can’t agree more with you considering 90% of the time is either crosswind or wet runway, it would definitely improve the runway!!
No 747 can fly there fully loaded they used to fly to Canada and us form here and a310 to Pakistan

Incorrect runway length. Actual runway length is 2250m
It refers to the Landing distance available, that’s why, you can’t use the 2250 for landing😉
