@@jasondaniels1630 I found out I was able to use my own mount and it fitted just fine there’s like an open pocket area at the back of the table that fits most 3rd party mount had the desk for a few months no issues
this is the first time i've seen a review for this desk that used a mac. those cables are unreasonably huge, for reference, an easy store external hard drive cable has a brick that is only half the size, same with the vision xl scanner. so I actually think this desk has the perfect cable management system for anyone with a pc based setup. given that the cable tray is roughly 2 and a half inches deep, with the back hinged for more robust power brick charging such as a mac. also, the "downside" you mentioned was more of an issue with the thought process, not the desk itself. it's marketed that when you put your pc into the mounting bracket, you can run the cables through the back leg with a raceway to hide the cables, or from the bottom of the desk space itself into the cable tray. your explanation kind of suggests you think the pc mount goes on the outside, when it goes on the inner part, next to the leg itself.
I think this is an accurate assessment that it’s designed for PCs more so than some Mac systems. The large brick for the MacBook Pro challenging to place inside, but with an iMac and Mac Studio no such issues. The PC Mount can only be mounted on the inner part and am aware of that as well. One solution would be to have a slightly deeper tray one can purchase if they need the extra depth. This could easily be put on since the tray design is modular.
@@GeekCulture I have watched a ton of videos on this desk and you are the only one to have that tip and talk about the cable management tray size differences and power brick tip. I really appreciate it.
Great... I would have purchased this desk immediately, but unfortunately the power cord connector is only in the left facing leg and not in the right facing leg. It seems that there is no way to interchange the legs during assembly, right? Thanks for the review.

They could make a deeper cable tray as it’s a bolt on part underneath the desk. I also asked about this but let’s see. If more people ask for it then they may do this
the thing is roughly 2 1/2 inches deep and the hinged cover isn't really in the way of anything if you plug anything in so they are facing the thing they power, otherwise it comes not attached, so if you really need to fit anything that's as large as an entire commander magic the gathering deck for a cable brick, you certainly can. it just looks small compared to the huge apple power bricks. if you have a pc setup, it should fit everything just fine.
