For any creative mind, this set up alone is enough to get a tonne of things done. The desk itself is a work of art. 👌🏼. It is worth every penny, given the amount of time and thought put into making it
This desk gives so much space to think and create! Cramped space force us to swap tasks and info in and out of our short-term memory. The more we can gave our brain a broad comfy space, the more productive we can be. Would love to try this desk.
As expensive as I figured this would be, it was actually less than I assumed. Though I think the pricing for some of these things are over kill. Cable management for $50-$70. The desk being $800 or $1000 depending on size is a lot a lot but I was expecting it to start at like $1300 to $1500.
@@drewnorth3816 I wanted this but the 31.5 depth for the XL is a deal breaker. It's not even 31.5 useable space as you minus the inches used up by the cable management box. I bought a Flexispot Odin instead and it has 4 legs with depth option up to 35". Similar price.
Did you order the accessories separately after you ordered the desk, or did you purchase and order all of it together at once? How long did it take it to deliver for you? I heard it was like 2-5 months for some people.
The issue i have with the secret labs ones is that there is a hell of alot of wobble when they are raised, and even a decent amount when lowered. I use a walking pad sometimes when i have desks raised for standing, and the wobble was 5 times worse for me when i tested it while walking lol. If they solve the wobble issue, id be all over this, but it is one of the most wobbly ones ive tested so far. Needs dual column legs and heavier feet, not sure what else but hopefully they upgrade soon.

I really wish they went with the dual bar legs, and crossbeam to prevent this, but i am sure they will come out with one eventually.
when we put cpu down like that , it does not create leg disturbances ? like when cpu is below table we cant stretch our legs fully so its better u get other table and put cpu in table that why it is called desktop . which mean cpu should be at table so it is called desktop

I don't recall if it is currently available for consumers, but the features it has, seem prime for a head to head with this desk, with slight twists.
Hey Lew do you remember back in 2011 Microsoft and other companies used to create a desk with full on screen displays with touch experience? I would love this version on a standing desk with a wide screen on the wall.
I love my Secretlab Titan chair. Got a video on my channel. But the issue I have with the desk is that I do not think you can attach Elgato lights to the back if you are a streamer.
This is “expensive” but it’s comparable to what I spent on my own high end desk that I built myself. Mine is thinner and longer and narrower and made of ~2” deep wood, so I do prefer that feel and mine is custom built to max out the space in my room. This seems much easier and more functional and has a couple bells and whistles I would have taken over the pros of my current desk. Wish they had it 4 years ago when I went to the trouble of custom building my setup! Anyone thinking this is a lot of money, I just customized one with a bunch of extras for ~$1,700 on their sight, and I paid much more than that for mine and spent much more time troubleshooting and researching things that are already done for you here. This takes some of the pros of something like Wyrmwood modular desk and just simplified and mass markets the concepts. Really impressive imo because I’m not someone who’s used Secret Labs products in the past. Maybe I should if this is their standard. I like modularity and functionality.
I am repurposing the IKEA’s food bed table (the table that you usually use on the bed) on top of it the I put my mac with a stand. That is for my one monitor setup. If I need a dual monitor setup, my external monitor is on the food table while my laptop side of it and I added an external keyboard. Sometimes I use the magic trackpad but most of the time I still use the build in trackpad. I was considering buying a table and a chair but in the end canceled it since I only allow to live in for two years and it is a hassle to move the table and chair later on.

Building a full custom loop in a Fractal Torrent soon with 5800x3d and 3080 ti. Was going to buy into new gen but its not worth the huge costs for small gain in performance.

Anyone hating on this desk for its price doesnt understand the sheer build quality of this desk. It is super easier to setup up, feels very sturdy and well built, and has tons of features.
If you're trying to shake it yes. If you're using it normally no. The higher it goes the higher likely u have a chance at wobble but I've got no issues and 4 monitors mounted on it lol.@@JoblessJoshua
I have a standing desk and I want to put my pc under it, I never even considered it floating underneath! I'll have to rig something up cause my cables won't reach when it's standing if it's placed on the floor
Is that pc mount really a good idea. I'm pretty certain that case wasn't designed to be clamped in such a manner. I could be wrong but I wouldn't be comfortable using that.
I just bought the XL version. I'm hoping I'm going to like it. I have all the accessories but I'm worried about the pc bracket holding enough weight. It only holds up to 55lbs and my pc is 60 ish pounds.
I love this desk and am trying to justify buying one. That being said I wish they made the PC holder able to adjust a little smaller to allow something like an NR200.
My desk is 14.5 feet long a full 2 feet deep But im rebuilding it this summer same size but using 4x4s along the length in the back and about 6 inches from the front where ill use a 2x4 laid flat i will have a simple 4x4 use on each end and 2x4s in the middle for a small set of drawers that will function as a set of legs for the middle those will be maybe 2 foot wide On top i will use chip board for the sub surface and a sheet of pvc for the actual desk top I am also going to build a full depth hutch that will bring the total height to about 6 foot (maybe 7) got to leave room for my cat to sleep up top or she will kill me while i sleep Total price will be less than half way less than have of this desk seriously a grand for a 70 inch desk? that isnt enough space for my screens
You could also have a Gaming Megapixel Camera on those Gaming Computers and LabTops Too for those Stuff as well my Chromebook has a Megapixel Camera with the LED Light and a Microphone on the Side of it that’s what they Have.

Should you be using extensions from the wall to the desk plug. For the desk to then have another extension in for PC and monitors.

The wobble is fine, been using the magnus pro XL for a few months now. Just don't have an earthquake.

This desk is not only expensive but you have to wait like 6 month+ to ship out too…. Even after like a year after launch.
All these RGBs are adding at least 25 horsepower which is close to 23,9 torque at 5500 RPM !

It looks amazing! All their stuff are on the pricy side but all are very thoughtfully and beautifully built so these seem worthed.
