Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

WOW, only Jimmy can Page like that.

Bonham was a monster on they drums. Feel sorry for his drum tech. He hits them so hard with those tree trunk sticks, brilliant. He must have has some dexterity in his hands to play like that. That's why his drims were so large and super tight, you can hear everything he's playing and the poor paiste cymbals. Best Rock n Roll drummer no doubt.

What made the concert even better, was that there was a guy behind us rolling joints and passing them out to those around him to pass along. Those were the days. They just put a smile on your face and an uplifted attitude in your mind. I wish for many reasons to go back to 1970 and do it all over again. The good and the bad. Because we had this, the best band ever, to soothe our souls and bless our ears. Definitely the best band ever!!! Nothing comes close. Just start another category for the rest.
