I have always kind of been on the fence about Jared. Never cared much for his content but he does his thing and people like it. So it's whatever. But after seeing this little temper tantrum that was not hidden very well I'm disappointed. Not once did anything I see demoralize me from playing. When I see good players and players better than me(😉see my joke there rofl) it inspires me to be better. Some people will be faster but that's not always the end all be all. Music is not a competitor sport. There's always going to be someone better at some technical aspects and or styles of playing. What matters is are you enjoying what you create?
There are always the talent guys,in all over the world. We practis day and night just because we love guitar,we love music. In the world of music,there is no country,no gender,no age,no limit.
Well my friend is a teacher in China and China does invest way more money in art and music education than we do. We're cutting it across the board. Most of those players probably started playing guitar at 6. I wish we would start treating music better as a society.

The lick at 3:16 was cool. I liked the rhythm. These dudes use a lot of the same shapes, I notice. Very American 80’s shred inspired. American guitar playing right now is more focused on sounding like Plini and Polyphia. I watched the full video. I like the double picked notes at the top of arpeggio and similar phrases. Similar to selective picking motifs but still picking all notes.

The lick at 3:16 was cool. I liked the rhythm. These dudes use a lot of the same shapes, I notice. Very American 80’s shred inspired. American guitar playing right now is more focused on sounding like Plini and Polyphia. I watched the full video. I like the double picked notes at the top of arpeggio and similar phrases. Similar to selective picking motifs but still picking all notes.
The guy is using Tim Henson's signature guitar lol, which is ironic.
