Bernth always impresses me. That harmonic at the 12 and then right into harmonic at the 5 was just too fast. If it hadn’t been tabbed I would not have figured out what he did.
My favs were: Clayton King, Charlie Robbins, Matteo Mancuso, Scottie Lepage, Rob Scallon, Mike Dawes, Syndrone, Joel Hoekstra, Tyler Larson, Jimena Fosado, Ben Eller, Ben Rabha, Max Van Esch, Oliver Christian, and Ernest Mel Viajeros Polares
You might consider Nattokinase for your back , as well as turmeric, glucosamine & chondroitin, and calcium or maybe bone broth soup. The nattokinase can help the body break down waste tissue to clear it and speed healing. The rest is supplementary. As for the collab, I liked all of the parts and will need to revisit it a few times. I enjoy your work and best of luck to you.
Ola is a very cool name! I own the Strymon pedal named after you lol. Please get well my friend. And remember to check out a NUCCA chiropractor if you can go to find a good one in your area. Good luck. AND Merry Christmas!
Hey Ola, I have same injury than you in three points of my back and a degenerative in neck so I know how painful It is... Keep strong, keep funny, keep doing amazing guitars and get well soon!!! 🤘🏼
Jack Woodman for the original camera effects, Ben Eller for the phrasing, Andrea Ferraro for her energy and smile, Davin Glover for the tone, and Max Van Esch for the musicality. Biggest stand outs in my opinion 😎👍
your solo was great, what's going wrong since the last collab, is that everyone's trying to proove themselves, instead of trying to create an epic song like shred collab 4, and before.
Some went for over the top technically and lost the melodic vibe, others kept it simple and stayed in the vibe, the best combined the crazy technicals with the vibe. Only a few pulled that off for me... also I want to officially propose to Andrea Ferrero, shredding with a smile like that wins the day!
why not rotate Drum TH-camrs yearly for these instead of using CPU? sure would take a bit longer but would make it more authentic, plus a shoutout to a drummer which is always a nice gesture :)
Heafy was playing something from the band "The Hu" would play...but ok I give it a "A" for at least not being concernned about his tone being too boring or worse his playing! So Matt get's my vote because no one stood out accept the bass players.... yeah headres was watching his socks being played with by the squereals he ran from 30mins earlier.
Most of them were very uninspiring despite being technically proficient. Yours, Matteo’s and Joel Hoekstra’s were great. Maybe I’m becoming a boomer but musical masturbation has gotten stale for me.
Doooooood!!!! That thumbnail for the collab is so sus! Why isn’t Olas face on that thumbnail? And why is there 5 women I’ve never heard of? I’m not bashing chicks playing guitar I think it’s awesome. But it just seems weird that there were more chick faces on that thumbnail. I guess it’s all about clickbait and the algorithm, right? I was truly disappointed when I didn’t see Olas face on the thumbnail….😢
STARTS at 3:31
Hopefully it's as good as I hope it will b🎉
Merry metal chrsmas
🤘🎄
🤘🤘
27:21 You're right I have
Thank you for the kind words and for making me feel old, Ola!
Thanks for the kind words Ola! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Cheers mate 🍻 Merry Christmas
Your solo was my pick. You keep it musical. Well done Ola.
It wasn’t sweat on my fretboard it was fastfret 😭
Duuude i love that Schecter banshee mach 7 😍
Thanks for the kind words, Ola! Hope you had a great Christmas
Nick Hipa had such a great blend of shred, texture and feel

Thank you so much!
Thank you!!
your solo made the most sense. you werent showing off, you play a real solo. Itsin my top 3 from the collab.
scottie was my fave, although they were all insane. love that dudes playing, underrated player
Note choice and phrasing were ass. Just like a lot of polyphia's music.
@@natebeal18bro just because your submission didn’t make it in doesn’t mean that you have to slander the ones that did.
@natebeal18 imaging openly telling ppl youre brain is too small.
Loved your subtle trem bar flutters!
Tremaine(Jonathan) is always in my top 5. That dude absolutely KILLS
Ben Eller, the best !! 🤘
Proud to learn to play the guitar better with his videos.
Great message and starting you’re so kind
Foiuntainhead recorded guitars for the album Akroasis (Obscura) in 2016. He's amazing!

This was a blast! Thank you Ola!!
The most musical of them all: Ola, Ben Eller and Andrea.
agree
Thank you Ola! 😊🤘🏼
Drewsif was playing fuggin' All Star, it largely follows the vocal melody of the verse
Loved your solo, Ola.. It was more musical and melodic and less "Look at me!" than some others. Well done!
Matteo Mancuso Reminds me of Allan Holdsworth.
Most sold signature guitar? The Les Paul
You all ripped it insanely but the Whitesnake guy was my favorite. Great job!
Cheers and Merry Christmas
🤘🥂🎅🥂🤘
From one semi-crippled Metalhead to another....
Hoekstra FTW!!
Stephan was harmonically and technically most interesting. Kirill was the best melodically. He tied it into his backing track brilliantly 👏
my favorite ones were bradley hall and alice I, bradley was really cool in every way, but alice I was classic and kick ass in a very tasty way \m/
My favorite was the guy with the red guitar. The sweed guy I don’t know his name.. he’s sick
And Tyler just brought it home 😮
What "crossroads theme"??!! PAGANINI!! :)
Let's Go Ola!🤘
have a cool New Yrs man!
Hoekstra, Chapman, and Ben Eller get my vote for context.
@aliceitmusic9176 for the win. I do appreciate you slowing things down. Sometimes less is more.
Ola and Brandon Acker were the stand outs in this collab.
Happy yule bro
Jack Woodman for the original camera effects, Ben Eller for the phrasing, Andrea Ferraro for her energy and smile, Davin Glover for the tone, and Max Van Esch for the musicality.
Biggest stand outs in my opinion 😎👍
I loved clayton kings
your solo was great, what's going wrong since the last collab, is that everyone's trying to proove themselves, instead of trying to create an epic song like shred collab 4, and before.
It's a tie between Matteo Mancuso and Joel Hoëkstra for me, Ola Englund comes close third 😅
Still waiting for Chug collab
Ola, your avatar for the thumbnails looks like Tom G Warrior.
Merry Xmas
You, Scottie, and Charlie.
Rob Scallon's segment was showing off his video game 🎮
Rock on Ola 🤘
The title change oughtta do the trick
Some went for over the top technically and lost the melodic vibe, others kept it simple and stayed in the vibe, the best combined the crazy technicals with the vibe. Only a few pulled that off for me... also I want to officially propose to Andrea Ferrero, shredding with a smile like that wins the day!
Chuggy Xmas 🎄🎄
Brandon Acker was born in 1350.... He is Dracula....
He is one of the best Bardcore musician back then....
Merry Christmas to all🎁🤘
Also, if no one has ever checked out Ingi Porrison or Power Paladin... you are missing out!!!
alice was pretty incredible
Rob Scallon has his own game check it out through his channel
Definitely Matteo Mancuso
Maybe you could do something like this with Chug Project? 🤔
Hey Ola. How are you in merry Christmas?
Speed isn’t everything, some of the slow ones sounded better in my opinion
Joel hoekstra...purely for note choice
why not rotate Drum TH-camrs yearly for these instead of using CPU? sure would take a bit longer but would make it more authentic, plus a shoutout to a drummer which is always a nice gesture :)
Is that 1st instrument a Lute?
my favorite was yours
it's more difficult to play slow than fast someone told me once............so you are great.
Brandon would be burned if he played like this in medieval
You can vibrato on a fretless guitar, you do it like a violinist would.
I always look forward for the collab videos, I just felt about half of the solos sounded the same, even tone/production wise
Chapman has my vote.
Ben Eller kiled it
Marcin Looks Like the Girl in the stroller from the movie Jingle Al the Way... you know? the one that steals Arnolds Raffle ball?
Heafy was playing something from the band "The Hu" would play...but ok I give it a "A" for at least not being concernned about his tone being too boring or worse his playing! So Matt get's my vote because no one stood out accept the bass players.... yeah headres was watching his socks being played with by the squereals he ran from 30mins earlier.
If Josh Meader is coming to the metal side , everyone else is done.
Man, you gotta send Pedro @ 27:30 a Solar guitar. That brown thing he's playing looks horrible, send the man some cred.
❤️
Nice hollow knight shirt
I'm curious if Mr. John Petrucci will ever join ?!...and again...no Max Ostro...sad
Stipp for the win
Day 4 of me asking Ola to play Six Feet Under “Seed Of Filth”
Modern "shredders" are like tattoos. Ola's solo was the best, along with the tasty acoustic and bass parts.
🎄🎅😁
Guess that video of ola talking about taking a break was utter bullshit 😂😂😂😂😂
why do they all sound almost the same?
similar tone and scales, but they all sounds vastly different, some stick out more than others because of their uniqueness though
Too many notes…alot of math rock, not much that hit the feels..
The need for speed
Agreed. It's like wow cool your really good at your instruments but where's the feeling
@@thebeardozeus DUDE!!! I am not the only one that thinks this. I thought I was crazy.
I feel the same. Extreme technic but at the end its just anoying sound
its called a “shred” collab for a reason
Most of them were very uninspiring despite being technically proficient. Yours, Matteo’s and Joel Hoekstra’s were great. Maybe I’m becoming a boomer but musical masturbation has gotten stale for me.
So much was visibly sped up..
like who?
You look like Jesus
These "modern" guitarists all sound rhe same. Also the phrasing is mostly the same. Same bends and same areas. Crazy.
90% of these solos (or whatever you wanna call them) are an absolute wankfest, not memorable at all.
John Sykes would have destroyed everyone. Everything started to bled together
Doooooood!!!! That thumbnail for the collab is so sus! Why isn’t Olas face on that thumbnail? And why is there 5 women I’ve never heard of? I’m not bashing chicks playing guitar I think it’s awesome. First!
The mix is godawful.
Drums are WAY too loud.
Can't hear anything else.
First shred video made is the best, and the rest was shit. This one i not bother finish lissen to
the third is pretty good
Kinda tired of all the Polyphia wannabes with serious bedroomitis (but excellent miming and video editing skills).
Everyone in this collab mimed their performances? do you think that music videos are played live?
@@ripit.3457not all of them mimed lol
why does Scottie LePage make that dumb face at the end of every solo? so annoying
🤘🤘
