It Can Feel Like the Longest 40 Weeks

Did you know you probably have access to some sort of paid parental leave? BUT most parents won’t actually take all the paid parental leave available because the programs are….well, confusing.
I don’t have any hard facts to back this up but based on the work I’ve done over the last year, most (like almost all) new parents are not cashing in on all of the paid leave they can. 🤯
Maybe you qualified for multiple programs but you layered them together wrong and now you have a bill to pay back half the money you got during leave.
Maybe you applied for one program but didn’t realize you also qualified for another program that would have paid you for several more months.
Or maybe you qualified for several weeks of paid leave but you didn’t understand your state’s job protection so you went back to work early and didn’t use your paid leave.
