I use Modes & Routines to alert me when the battery is low. Then it tells Google Assistant to turn off the charger when it is charged.

@@Gremlin256 Under Routines, there is a few examples. One is "Low battery announcement", which I use as-is. There is another example for "Get notified when fully charged", which I modified to say "Battery fully charged. Unplug charger. Hey Google. Turn off, 65 charger." I have a smart outlet named " 65 charger", which is connected to Google Assistant. I have a Google Nest Home Hub in the same room as my tablet. You could use a Google Mini Smart speaker, instead. I can control the smart outlet via voice, mine and the text-to-speech from my Samsung device. I hope this makes sense!

Modes and Routines in Samsung are Focus and Shortcuts in Apple. Although Focus and Shortcuts are probably more limited, they still exist in Apple, and I think even before Samsung's turn.
As an (almost) all-in Apple user for the last 4 years, I miss the first three features so much, and I'll probably return to Samsung pretty soon.

Well, I switched from iphone 14 Pro to S24U and all I feel is that I took 2 steps back, first of all you have that Google/Samsung mess, then a fingerprint reader that works 5 out of 10 times (oh yeah, I have put effort in it to make it better belive me). Samsung Pay 2/10, google pay 7/0, Apple Pay 10/10, 3 party apps generally work way better on iPhones, yes that sadly is still a issue. Integration with other products is far better with Apple.
Am I dissapionted with my S24Ultra, not at all, it is a great phone, but there is issues that needs to be fixed, do I think iOS is better than Android, in som ways it it, in other it's not. If you love to fipple with settings and tweeking an Android is great, if u only want things to work and work perfect, iPhones are great. My next phone is likely to be back at Sony (I try to miss out on how frustrated I was with my Z2)

Background downloads and uploads. How can a modern OS not have this. So iOS users have to wait in every app for uploads and downloads to finish before they move to another app. Don't they have anything else to do 😂. And why is the back gesture only on the left side, how does apple expect right handed people to navigate backwards when using pro max and plus iphones

I think at this point, Apple might have Samsung beat. It'll take nothing for Apple to implement these features at any point they feel, and it will take the wind out of Samsung's sails. The problem is that Android holds Samsung back. Apple does everything in a much cleaner manner and all their devices get these updates at the same time.

    8. One Hand Operation+ (the rest in addition to 6. and 7.): once get used to it, you can't change to any other OS.
    9. Sound assistand (not one feature, many of the features in it): once get used to it, you can't change to any other OS.
    10. Instant Slow Motion: when I heard about it first time, I thought it was a gimmick, but no, it is a must-have.
    11. DeX: a must-have if the phone is your only device.
There are tons of features that I could name. Alone the case that you don't have a real call history in the phone app is a reason not to buy any iPhones.

The multiple user feature on Android is great. It lets you use your phone as two different phones. I've been using it for a long time - one account for work and one for personal use. It's designed for people who want privacy on one phone, allowing different passwords, wallpapers, and apps for each user. This way, I don't have to hide my apps or anything I don't want to show. It's like having a secure folder on Samsung or private space on Android 15, but better.

iOS is based on app isolation, so #5 seems irrelevant, you don't need an "isloated" workspace as it is already there. iOS 18 has "hidden/locked" app folders and you can also individually lock apps. It also works on iPhone Xs. Split screen is there aready in iPad OS which is basically iOS for bigger screens, so not sure what "Apple don't have" means. There are also gazzilions of note apps, why would I ever need Apple to implement every gimmik out there? It is a smart phone it is supposed to allow you install apps, not get them built-in (bloat-in) the OS.
