Hey everyone! Super important comment here. Some of my subscribers noticed I spoke out of turn during this video in regards to women. When I said “women don’t want to look not hot” I 100% mean that MEN are the cause of this. I believe women are pressured by the patriarchy to come off as perfect, youthful, and attractive at all times. It’s horrible and part of my work is putting an end to the objectification of women. I didn’t mention all of this in the video as my subscribers have seen me mention this in other videos. I often forget that when I put out a new video, many new people are watching me without knowing my stance on these issues. I’m really sorry about coming off as insensitive. The exact reason I brought up this point about Liza is because I wanted to make an example of how she bravely goes against society’s standards despite any negative judgment. I hope you’ll stick around on my channel as I’m going to be focusing more and more on these issues of women’s role in society. Honestly, I want to believe the same thing but I feel like Liza is miles ahead David in terms of career and self development. Don’t get me wrong, I like David and admire his work ethic but Liza had already leapt bounds from Vine to Netflix movies while David had stayed in TH-cam with the same people throughout his career. Yes, he interacts with new famous people but that’s been his thing for years now. What’s next? Liza has been constantly evolving and taking on newer projects with different sets of people and she keeps things fresh that way. I also feel like, in a way, that she’s more mature than David for the way she was the one that initiated their relationship and ended it at the same time because she knows that she has to prioritize herself first. As David admitted, he didn’t have the balls to break it up even though he felt like things were off too but Liza did. I think that shows strength of character on Liza’s part. I feel like they still miss each other since their chemistry is undeniable but that doesn’t mean that they have to be in a relationship again. You can miss the memories without missing the person. It might take them a while to find someone that can match their chemistry with each other but it’s not impossible. I wish them both the best.
Elizah Mendoza career wise David is way ahead by now even if you don’t think he has grown in terms of what he does for his career and how he hasn’t changed much.

@@_avisualz we don't know everything about their relationship and everything that was going behind the scenes. If their break-up was a mistake they would've gotten back together already but it clearly was not a mistake which means their relationship unfortunately wasn't perfect and while they're still great people and great as friends it simply doesn't make sense for them to be together anymore.

I don't think they'll get back together, but if they do, I don't think she's outgrown him, I think she is still goofy and loving, and so is he, I think their time has just passed and they would notice it because both of them are so open to their emotions, as much as they joke around. Liza is a comedian. She goes all out over the top physical old school comedy. Sometimes humor and laughing is a coping mechanism to cover pain . As far as having your entire life, life is short. No one knows how long they will live.
Thank you for saying this! I feel like most of the people watching this don’t realise that sometimes things are not as they seem. Sometimes when it seems too good to be true; it just might be that🤷🏼♀️ Personally, I remember getting the vibe that they were both compensating for something that was lacking by trying to be funny. This is just what I think, though. I will not claim to know Liza or David.
Liza and David are definitely Soulmates. But I don't think they could ever be in a grown up relationship. David is fun, laid back, smart and creative, just like Liza. But he isn't mature enough for her. I don't think they'll get back together but I do think he still misses her.

There are people that break up and get back together with the second time being better. Can't say getting back with your ex is always a good idea (I think usually it's not lol), but for some people it didn't work out because of timing or something in their lives rather than being incompatible.

Vincisomething me and my ex got back together after 2 years and we have been back together for almost 2 years. It can definitely happen but if it doesn’t, it doesn’t really mean there was a negative reason. Sometimes you break up with those intentions to get back together and then you don’t because life happens after and vice versa. Break ups aren’t always bad :)

I'm surprised you say that thing in the beginning about women not wanting to do silly faces in fear of looking ugly....that's a very shallow analysis of women's behaviour. Normal women will do silly things like that infront of their partners if they feel comfortable with them. It's not a rare quality of a women like you make it out to be.

I don't think he meant it in a way that like attacks most women, although I can see how it can be understood in this way. But I for example, genuinely feel like this sometimes, like I can relate to what he said a lot! I often have this fear to kind of "look ugly", and am the type who would never make such silly faces to someone I am romantically interested in. Maybe that's a bad thing and stemming from insecurities, I don't know. It's not that I'm super insecure either, I feel very confident and happy with myself most of the time. But it's like the girl that commented after you said, sometimes I very much feel the pressure to "have to look good" and I just feel forced to behave accordingly. And I know lots of girlfriends who are afraid to appear "ugly" in front of their boyfriends etc., which is ridiculous. But I really think this is how many women feel like, especially young women. I think when you get more mature this kind of toxic behavior gets less, but it's very much present in our society amongst girls.
I'd never make silly faces in front of my boyfriend, because I'm way too insecure, which is why I admire Liza so much, cuz she's not afraid to show the world who she is. So in my case, what he said is right.
I feel like Liza is more likely to go through a few more relationships(maybe even an engagement/marriage) before even considering getting back with David. David will always have a soft spot for Liza and I doubt he'll give another girl as big of a part of himself as he did with her. They're in parallel industries so the likelihood of their paths crossing is slim but if they do, they're going to be so happy because they have the chemistry and compatibility and the understanding of what it takes to make their relationship work. I'm rooting for them though.

I love how David has this "talent" of talking to very famous people like they're just friends. David is probably the opposite of a clout chaser for the most part (valuing a person's successs, achievements, or success over who they are), but still somehow attracts other successful and famous people. There are some videos where it seems like he may not be the biggest fan of them, but it still feels like he knows other people will appreciate them (i.e surprising people with their favorite celebs).
Edit: anyways, I hope you look into Bart and Geo and possibly other Justkiddingnews couples (even the ones that aren't together anymore like Jess and Joe).

I think why their relationship hit so many people (and hurt when they broke up..) is because both Liza and David were so entirely themselves. They were so real and hilarious and at home with each other, and so many couples online (especially celeb couples) put up a front.

I'm here after David's scandal, and just have to say this. Yes , there was undoubtedly chemistry between these two. However, after they broke up I continued following Liza and not David. For me, she's very funny without being disrespectful or immature, her sense of humor is silly and she just makes fun of herself. David on the other hand, he acts like the frat boy who was never popular in high school and finally got the popularity he so desperately wanted. He made fun of other people and did many things just to get views. Popularity and money really got into his mind. So I'm happy they broke up so Liza didn't have to suffer the consequences of David's actions.
But for some reason people drag her into it bc she dated him acting like we all want to be dragged into our ex’s messes years after our breakups 😅😅

I don't think it's like "try hard" but i think most girls instinctively tries to bring their best selves forward when around their S/O sometimes hiding their feelings or refraining from doing something deemed as unattractive
Don’t get me wrong I loved them together but at the same time they both went their separate ways for a reason. We don’t need to know why, it’s not anyone’s business except for their own. They were young, were still developing, and after the break up they seemed like they evolved as individuals. That’s okay, that’s healthy, and it shows growth.

I think they had something special and if you believe in soulmates I guess you can say they are. But, and maybe I’m pessimistic, but I feel like they won’t get back together. In my opinion, people rarely end up with the person they truly loved. Maybe because it can be a bit overwhelming. I feel people usually end up with people who just makes sense to be with. More realistic based, like ok “she makes a good wife” “my family and friends like her” “we have fun together” “she elevates my social or financial status” “it’s time I settle down”. Cuz honestly the majority of couple I see in real life is not this kind of pure love, it is more of other things.

i remember seeing that this couple's break up blew up and i was so confused why anybody cared about them and the breakup. But I didn't care too much to research their videos. I can see why people cared now!
The only TH-cam couple break up that's ever made me tear up. Liza's choked up voice and the amount of emotion in her voice when she's announcing their split just hurt.
I have always thought they were a good match of personalities, doesn't really matter how they choose to define their relationship they match in so many areas. Liza has a good strong sense of self and David has a strong sense of who he believes he is, but I don't feel he's always accurate in firmly having a sense of self he seems to need a little more feedback from others in order to really believe what his qualities are or are not he'll get better at it the older he gets though but he doesn't fully define himself by sense of self and leaves openings with plenty of room to ignore some of his base and let it change and flow differently. I do feel Liza likes a little nmore full knowing where growth is going in a relationship before committing fully.

I never understood why people would change who they were when they got in a relationship. I've always been exactly who I am and I would even tell the people I dated exactly how I am before it got serious. I got my heart broken several times because I loved too much. I also had people embarrassed because I have a loud laugh, like I didn't tell them

My other half hates it when I cry and I hate seeing his mouth twist and pain in his eyes when it happens and I completely saw that in them and it’s heartbreaking
What’s interesting to me is you keep pointing out how Liza is so brave or confidant for acting like herself when most women would want to put off their best face. I’m not offended it’s just funny to me because I feel like every girl I know acts exactly like Liza I feel like she’s acting like normal women and that most girls I know do this in front of everyone including their significant other especially their significant other probably. I feel like The way she acts is the reason why most women on TikTok are so famous because they’re exactly like this they’re real and talk about real life stuff.
