Did you even watch Martins games ?
He gave the Canucks a 950 save percentage in each of his starts and they still choked 2 of them in OT
I’ll say again a 950 sv % !!! from the frickin 3rd string!!! and still lose 2 of 3 and you think the team in front of the actual SPINE of this franchise rn in Demko deserves more credit just because Martin didn’t lose in regulation

Message to Boudreau: We inherited you. We didn’t hire you. You rallied the troops but really don’t know how to coach systems, and we want to tell the media and fans that…you need to be open to our interference and direction to learn how to coach the way we want. if you insist on opting to stay, we may have no PR choice but to agree let you start the season as coach, but really, please, don’t come back. We want to pick our own coach. Classless Rutherford, doing this in front of the media. Boudreau will tell them to shove off.

Yeah, tank. Trade Miller. Trade Boeser. Trade Garland. Tank so that other players don't want to be here, and no one wants to come here. Finish last in the league, and lose the draft lottery as bad as they can, and draft 3rd. That is a great plan.

@@Dub23zero Before all this drama started, maybe. I mean, as much as any Canadian team can attract players. A lot of players don't want to play in Canada because they don't like the spotlight shining on them that hard. That's why media people say players who have no trade lists usually have 8 teams on that list, the 7 Canadian teams, and Buffalo.

Is the problems with our D exiting the zone a coaching problem, or more of a GM problem? Last time I checked, it was not Bruce who chose the likes of Poolman, Myers, and Hamonic to be his team's D-men. Yes, the coach can put in something to help, but I see that as a joint responsibility - the GM gives the coach the horses that can win the race. I may be the minority here, but I did not like the president and the GM hanging out the coach to dry when the coach had just taken a mediocre team to a .650 winning record (would have gotten 106 points in a 82-game schedule). The team needs some significant changes and upgrades, but coaching is NOT an area of concern for me. It would be a grave mistake for the Canucks to allow Bruce to walk.
