As a die hard Habs fan, I can confirm that the team brought our city back to life in the spring of 2021. Covid lockdowns were particularily tough in Québec and that run gave us the morale booster our people needed. To this day it’s my favortie hockey moment, ever. Great video as always 👏🏼

When Montreal beat Toronto in game seven it was one of the best days of my life at work, because when Montreal was down 3-1, the chirps I had from coworkers was insane, but when Montreal came back an won, there were guys who avoided me for months, I don’t think I’ve ever woken up from a deep sleep with so much energy

In 2014 the habs has a decent team and chance but Kreider derailed that. Beating Toronto, Winnipeg and especially Vegas was against all odds, the habs had no business in the finals.
The fact Amazon streamed the series and kept it up forever made it that much sweeter. The expected coronation turned into a coronary. Still have it all on a few NAS hard drives. If they die its also on news servers, merci beaucoup, Toronto

When they light the CN Tower in the colours of the team that beat you, that’s how you know you committed one of the worst chokes in NHL history. I still have nightmares about this series, the Raptors had just won the championship 2 years ago and the Leafs alone in the years since destroyed any joy and pride the city had earned in sports. If I were to point to an example on why the Leafs are the single most pathetic organization in sports, this is it. I think when this "covid cup" happened, we were still in covid shock. The knee to the head, and Price, definitely skew the stats. The fact that the team didn't change their approach after this loss, the ones after, and those core-4 guys are still there to start 24-25, is why the Leafs are the single most pathetic organization in sports.

Honestly this was a highlight in my life. Im a huge habs fan and im just now starting to get excited again. That being said, one of the things that stands out the most for me in this series was how much the broadcaster struggled with the winning goal calls. Still stresses me out to this day listening to these highlights.

I would love to see a video about the 2010 Flyers; got in to the playoffs in the last game of season in a shootout with the Rangers, took care of the Habs, went down 3 games to the Bruins and came back, including being down 3-1 in game 7, and finally lost to the Blackhawks. It was one of the most exciting playoffs ever and really felt like a Cinderella story at the time
It still breaks my heart that we couldn't win the stanley cup with Carey Price, the best goaltender in this past generation and one of the only goaltenders to win the Hart trophy.

This was a glorious series to watch, because it shut up Leafs fans like never before. Going into that series, they were talking about how they had a deep run, HANDED to them (and there was), and they were acting like Montreal was a joke after Games 2, 3, and 4. Soooo happy to see Montreal pull this off and I was absolutely ecstatic to see the Leafs pull yet another choke job.

I know he never won a Cup, but to me, this run solidified the idea that Price's number needs to be retired by the Canadiens. Patrick Roy's trade will turn 30 next season and Carey Price is by far the single greatest Habs player since. There is an entire generation of fans to whom Price means as much as any number in the rafters.
Still remember the 2020 playoffs like it was yesterday. Was such a great glimpse of hope in these dark times. Pretty sad that the canadiens are so underwhelming these days. Price was really really great, lowkey my favorite goalie in my childhood.
Man Carey Price was just so good, it’s such a shame that he was never able to get a cup. The fact that 2008’s Kovalev is the only point per game player he ever had on his team says it all. At least he won everything on the international stage.
I still think the Loss to Columbus was worse. Joonas Korpisalo had a shut-out in game one and game five of the playin round. Pierre Luc Dubois was the offensive star scoring three including an overtime winner in game three. Nick Foligno had his value increase because they looked good versus the Leafs in this play in round. I do remember Craig Button around game six talking about how Auston Matthews was leading the entire NHL in the playoffs in expected goals.

I would say i have more respect for the bruins who gave the habs good fights, from orr to esposito, to bourque, to bergeron,.... respect for that team. But the leafs....they are pure trash

This was a glorious series to watch, because it shut up Leafs fans like never before. Going into that series, they were talking about how they had a deep run, HANDED to them (and there was), and they were acting like Montreal was a joke after Games 2, 3, and 4. Soooo happy to see Montreal pull this off and I was absolutely ecstatic to see the Leafs pull yet another choke job.
Price was a X factor. Tavares would have been a non factor anyways.

I know he never won a Cup, but to me, this run solidified the idea that Price's number needs to be retired by the Canadiens. Patrick Roy's trade will turn 30 next season and Carey Price is by far the single greatest Habs player since. There is an entire generation of fans to whom Price means as much as any number in the rafters.

Man Carey Price was just so good, it’s such a shame that he was never able to get a cup. The fact that 2008’s Kovalev is the only point per game player he ever had on his team says it all. At least he won everything on the international stage.

I still think the Loss to Columbus was worse. Joonas Korpisalo had a shut-out in game one and game five of the playin round.
Pierre Luc Dubois was the offensive star scoring three including an overtime winner in game three. Nick Foligno had his value increase because they looked good versus the Leafs in this play in round.
I do remember Craig Button around game six talking about how Auston Matthews was leading the entire NHL in the playoffs in expected goals.
