Wasn't Benning fault the owners didn't want to rebuild and they force the gm to listen to how they want to do even if benning would of disagreed frans had the last shot thats why linden left😮

I think it’s a great idea too I also wouldn’t mind if they kept the orca but went with the black, red and yellow colour scheme I think that would look great too. Identity of the Canucks is changing so maybe a jersey change is needed

108 point pace over 81 games for Tocchet. Alain Vigneault achieved almost the same his first season, and it took 4 more to hit that amazing 117 points. This says alot about how well Tocchet is doing especially considering he came in during a season, not from the start as Alain did.

Any guy that still wears his top like he’s Tony Montana probably shouldn’t own a hockey team. Nonetheless, hiring Rutherford and trying his best to get the hell out of his own way was smart. He’s gonna command his next contract. Canucks can’t afford to keep Joshua and maybe even Blueger. They’ll be sought after UFA’s.

Myer’s $6 million is coming off this offseason plus another $4 million cap increase. Canucks are going to need to resign Petey, Joshua, Hronek, Lafferty, DeSmith, and Zadorov. I assume the ones that will be let go are Myers, Cole, Friedman, and Blueger. Kuzmenko might be traded for extra cap space
I just don’t like the idea of giving a career year player 3M+ per season on a multi year deal. That’s something Toronto would do. I hope he gets PAID, just not by us.

Can somebody PLEASE tell me what "Presidents of Hockey Operations" for any team, really do? Seriously are they involved in contract talks? Do they just sit around making huge money and watching the games? (and act accordingly if things are going well or bad with the team?----
He works for the Canucks in name only. Look at it as the one who manages the general business of the Canucks as a company, under Aqua's ownership, he deals with staff, objectives and such, then there's PA who deals with the business of the Canucks as a team, managing players, contracts and such.
He's earned it, so far. My only concern is that they're running a 39 goal scorer into the ground. Sure, he overachieved, but now that he's had his confidence destroyed, he's making even more mistakes. For all the success the team is having, they now have a near-$5 million anchor that they can't move because they've destroyed his trade value. I know they're technically in 1st place, but I've seen this before. I don't want a President's Trophy. That's as irrelevant as the Campbell Bowl. There's only one team award that matters. Great improvements, but I'm not easing up on my criticism until I see what the team can do in the playoffs.
Its on Kuzmenko to turn it around he doesnt really play Tocchet's system right now hes looking like the only misfit on the team
You have to play as a team and buy into the system. If Kuzy cant, then he will be scratched. Simple. This is why we are a number 1 team. We dont baby players anymore
Watch a game start to finish and only watch Kuzmenko when he's on the ice.. he's a complete liability on most of his shifts
Kuzy to Pittsburgh. Crosby and Gino will get him going again. Excited to see Guentzel in a Canucks uniform!
Lets take this time to remember and not forget Francesco's own kids came out and said their dad is a POS.
