Just slap an Ex Parte order on the other party. Which ever side can get that in first can pretty much manipulate the system. There is almost no burden of proof on the alleged side, Judge just has to believe you’re version 51% vs 49%. Zero oversight. Messes with the respondents ability to have weapons. Real cool way to screw someone. Works both ways though. YMMV

Unfortunately a lot of times a narcissist is successful at spinning the narrative, rewritting history and creating reasonable doubt. A lot of victims walk away more traumatized through the legal system.
The best way to expose a narcissist is Court is to prepare outside of court. That’s when they do all of their dirty work including breaking the law(court orders, stalking, domestic violence, etc).
Restraining Order works but not easy and the clerks are restrained from giving advice. Clerks could solve 90% of cases over the counter. Cheddar requires milking the chattle. Its a scam so royal
Document EVERYTHING! Save ALL texts, emails. Then, let your attorney do all the talking. Watch your facial expressions. Do not be the cause of a scene in court. Keep your cool. In the narcissist's frustration, they will expose themselves.
It was the worst year and a half in my life and cost me so much emotionally, mentally and financially. Eventually I out-lasted the Narc and they got tired of the “game” and walked away.
My divorce took almost 7 years. But in the end karma was heaped on him. My best defense in court against his smear campaigns and twisted facts, was to have everything well documented and verifiable. My story was always the same. It took a while in court for people to believe me, but finally the truth came to the surface. And yes, he tried to hide shady financial information and misdeeds right up to the very last second. But he got exposed with our mountain of evidence. I strongly suggest anyone wanting to divorce a narcissist, is not to let them know about it right away. Research and get as much information as you can first, because they will do everything they can to hide and destroy it it once they know you filed. Leave no leaf unturned because that’s what they’re hoping for.

I had much, much documentation on the narcissist's lies about money, illegally recording phone calls, working on the "side" and not reporting over $80,000 on his taxes, etc. My attorney poo-pooed it! I thought it was important for the judge to know about the lies and deceit. After listening to your videos, I realize my attorney was definitely not a good one. Sad to know she didn't seem to be fighting for me. One cause was she had way too many cases going on at the same time and apparently didn't want to put in the effort needed.
I had same lazy lawyer attitude. I was just glad to be out of the relationship. The judge was my hero. I was given the house I built (even though he wanted it sold so he would build a smaller one for me?) I'm so happy to be rid of him and all his woes.

Yup. I filed against him bc my son was begging me not to have to be 50/50. I wanted to get full custody while we figured out why my son didn't want to be there so we could try to address it. Now I have a CPS case against me, been accused of parental alienation, emotional emeshment, and munchousen by proxy! Now, as the plaintiff, I have to build a defense. They aren't even looking into my concerns.
Expose the narcissist in court! My ex narc and I were in court on Tuesday. The judge asked him if he was shocked when I left him! He said “yes he was shocked when he came home and found I was gone and cleaned him out!” She asked him how he felt about it? He said “Put it this way I didn’t shed a tear when she left, but when the family cat died a few months later I cried my eyes out!” I was married to that creep for thirty years and fighting for a fair settlement for five! We hear the judges final judgement in six weeks. He was caught in several lies in court so I am hoping the judge sees it.
It’s now ten weeks and we still haven’t heard from the judge, New Zealand’s court system is the pits! She has plenty of reading material to get through since it has gone on for five years! Wednesday our property went to auction, the narc was out bid 😊! He lied to the judge and said he was over wanting to buy me out of the property and ready to move on, even said he had made a offer on another property (which was a lie). Anyway the property sold for $500,000.00 more than his phoney valuation he got in October and $900,000.00 more than his first offer four years ago!! Karma is good to watch when it is a narc getting their own treatment in reverse! I hope the judge will now settle all the other issues and I will be totally narc free!!

I made the mistake of confronting him because I documented everything and grew up around health care experts so he didnt imagine I would know how to figure the medical/ administrative aspects out... he staged an accident of $60, 000.00 + damage to his porche, called it in as hit and run and I suffered through court for 3 yrs. He charmed the police, my family, crown, mutual "friends", professional community of prominent people that I connected him with and built successful businesses and investments with (none of which I got a penny bc we were never "married"). I eventually had to self- represent because he seemed to control everyone. My career was affected. So much trauma and loss on top of what I had already lost and walked away from prior to him doing this to my dog. I won withdrawal with prejudice. He never got charged. No accountability. I was in process of filing a claim and because I am from a small town I cant trust anyone in the system. I knew he would only become more angry and was scared for me now exposing him. Sure enough, I have recently experienced several threats, strange assaults on rare moments I step out of my house and he has recently bro-coded to have me targeted criminally again to distract court process for my claims to expose truth. I got 2 more set up charges which I have again self represented and won 1 and have 1 more to go. Police were also corrupt, no one would believe me about corrupt officers though now thank God dirty police is something Judges are more aware of. Now, I have exposed dirty cops, clerks and crown who cover for this abuse of process as well. So anyone who feels overwhelmed - keep going!!!! This community is a blessing. We need to have each others backs and expose such filth. The facade is the only thing they care about.

When my custody case started getting complex with the Narcissists lies and manipulation the lawyer started pressing me so hard for money it was rediculous. The court system is where your racists are and everybody else who is soulless. America is truly the sickest continent of them all. I hate it here.
Try Louisiana ….. the first circuit overruled the judge however I went back in front of the judge and he totally ignored the LA first circuit court of appeals.

Thank you for giving me the hope I need. I feel defeated and now my husband is filings criminal charges on me in retaliation to the no contact orders. Without much evidence or any support on my side I think I can stand up in court and be strong and win my case. The truth will come out and I trust that as it has in the past. He knows this time I know him and how he is and it's over the last time and it's funny to watch him scramble at every turn actually with leave knowing he will never have a hold on me again after a long 22 yr marriage. I finally had to get cameras in my home, my husband would come in and start a physical fight with our 16 year old, and when our son fought back, my husband would say he was gonna have him locked up for abuse. Once the police saw the videos, they made reports for child abuse. But our DHR here doesn't do anything.

Sometimes a lot of times the Judges don’t adhere to these statues when it’s convenient or they want to be friends or on good terms with the narcissistic. Exposing can make things worse and the narc more cunning if the Judge and others involved are wicked and have their own agendas.

I am so glad I found you. I have a 9 year old grandson, Sincere. I am his paternal grandmother. His mom is a narcissist. He lived with his dad for 2 years until 3 weeks before my son died in September 2021. I’ve been documenting on this narcissist since before Sincere was born bc she was abusive to my son. My son and I had a deal that whenever she abuse cycle started he would drop my grandson off with me. Sin would have his regular routine (this is when he was 3 and 4) and my son would pick him up after she had her final blowup. I had my grandson at least 50% of the time for 2 yrs and I have it all documented. So once again we are dealing with her immense need ofcontrol. She treats Sincere as tho he’s her property and not a person. I always tell Sincere his mom loves him the best way he knows how. He asked me once… “How can my mom love me when she doesnt care about how I feel?” My grandson wants to live with me. I want to go to court for court ordered visitation bc I have zero rights as a grandparent. Then go for custody later. Plus I cannot find an attorney interested in even taking my case for visitation. I live in Washington state. Can you help guide me?
Also I am not trying to say he cant see his mom. I’ve spend every holiday with Sincere his whole life. Last holiday season was the 1st time I didnt see him for any holiday. On top of that she wontlet us have him on fathers day. She told him shes his father and mother now.
What's frustrating is when a toxic person makes inroads with your own counsel and cast themselves as a aggrieved party, so the attorney is unmotivated to defend you to the hilt.
This person has had me investigated with DCFS investigation, welfare checks by police, 14 police reports (detectives suggestion) 2 denied protective orders, report made by local police for false allegations with using police enforcement as intent to intimidate. This person went as far as making made most outrageous go fund me page that raised $. This person has blackmailed me into ruining my business By having me investigated. I finally have this Protective order granted. This person choose not to fight it. This person got minimal supervised visits.. which was the whole point of all of the Documentation for the protective order… which they Continue to violate protective order in place. I can’t stop him from taking my son every week. I don’t know if this will make it anywhere I need…. Please help me. Yes I have a lawyer who only sees concerns.

Wish I could take my sister to court. Once she smeared me to the rest of the family, I asked my father, who is a retired attorney, "Does the defendant ever bring a frivolous lawsuit? Or is it only the plaintiff who does that?" He replied, "This isn't a lawsuit." I wish it were!
I wish I had a lawyer like you. I wanted to mediate and the day of our appointment I got served with papers. A year and a half later still not officially divorced and out $10,000. His lawyer wrote up the terms and my almost ex refuses to sign. In limbo not knowing how to get this resolved, my lawyer was not helpful.

I wasn’t notified about restraining order by my narcissist and he baited me with emails and text messages where he did oush me to crazy but still I wasn’t notified. I got no chance to show his abuse towards me.
My situation is a little different than everyone else's. I'm dealing with what I like to call The Parasite. My husband's ex. Now she's photo shopped text messages and said I sent them to her. Court is tomorrow but March 3rd we go for my motion I filed against her for breaking the injunctive. Thank you for all your help. I reported my covert Narc ex for abuse to his organisation I have a talk with some of them on Sunday. I left him suicidal but I still feel like being the one who is percecuted. Or grilled in he'll, where I just gotten out alive....
I was very lucky to have good cops being called by his brothers (I reached out to them) to check on me. I was locked up, keys taken... financially blocked. The cops insisted that I do a formal report on his abuse, saying that such report is golden in the divorce court. The cops made him go for a long meeting with them, so all is documented in my favor. See if you could get the cops recording the abuse. And do research, maybe there was more of such abuse recorded by the cops. I found out his arrest and jailing for abuse/dom.violence. All that indicates a pattern and is beneficial for us.

We hear the judges final judgement in six weeks. He was caught in several lies in court so I am hoping the judge sees it.
How did it go?
It’s now ten weeks and we still haven’t heard from the judge, New Zealand’s court system is the pits! She has plenty of reading material to get through since it has gone on for five years! Wednesday our property went to auction, the narc was out bid 😊! He lied to the judge and said he was over wanting to buy me out of the property and ready to move on, even said he had made a offer on another property (which was a lie). Anyway the property sold for $500,000.00 more than his phoney valuation he got in October and $900,000.00 more than his first offer four years ago!! Karma is good to watch when it is a narc getting their own treatment in reverse! I hope the judge will now settle all the other issues and I will be totally narc free!!

I made the mistake of confronting him because I documented everything and grew up around health care experts so he didnt imagine I would know how to figure the medical/ administrative aspects out... he staged an accident of $60, 000.00 + damage to his porche, called it in as hit and run and I suffered through court for 3 yrs. He charmed the police, my family, crown, mutual "friends", professional community of prominent people that I connected him with and built successful businesses and investments with (none of which I got a penny bc we were never "married"). I eventually had to self- represent because he seemed to control everyone. My career was affected. So much trauma and loss on top of what I had already lost and walked away from prior to him doing this to my dog. I won withdrawal with prejudice.
He never got charged. No accountability. I was in process of filing a claim and because I am from a small town I cant trust anyone in the system. I knew he would only become more angry and was scared for me now exposing him. Sure enough, I have recently experienced several threats, strange assaults on rare moments I step out of my house and he has recently bro-coded to have me targeted criminally again to distract court process for my claims to expose truth. I got 2 more set up charges which I have again self represented and won 1 and have 1 more to go. Police were also corrupt, no one would believe me about corrupt officers though now thank God dirty police is something Judges are more aware of. Now, I have exposed dirty cops, clerks and crown who cover for this abuse of process as well. So anyone who feels overwhelmed - keep going!!!! This community is a blessing. We need to have each others backs and expose such filth. The facade is the only thing they care about.

When my custody case started getting complex with the Narcissists lies and manipulation the lawyer started pressing me so hard for money it was rediculous. The court system is where your racists are and everybody else who is soulless. America is truly the sickest continent of them all. I hate it here.
Try Louisiana ….. the first circuit overruled the judge however I went back in front of the judge and he totally ignored the LA first circuit court of appeals.

Thank you for giving me the hope I need. I feel defeated and now my husband is filings criminal charges on me in retaliation to the no contact orders. Without much evidence or any support on my side I think I can stand up in court and be strong and win my case. The truth will come out and I trust that as it has in the past. He knows this time I know him and how he is and it's over the last time and it's funny to watch him scramble at every turn actually with leave knowing he will never have a hold on me again after a long 22 yr marriage. I wish I had known this information when I went to court against the narc. He lied in all of the court documents. It was awful. I told the judge that it was all lies. It felt soul crushing.

I finally had to get cameras in my home, my husband would come in and start a physical fight with our 16 year old, and when our son fought back, my husband would say he was gonna have him locked up for abuse. Once the police saw the videos, they made reports for child abuse. But our DHR here doesn't do anything.

Sometimes a lot of times the Judges don’t adhere to these statues when it’s convenient or they want to be friends or on good terms with the narcissistic. Exposing can make things worse and the narc more cunning if the Judge and others involved are wicked and have their own agendas.

I am so glad I found you. I have a 9 year old grandson, Sincere. I am his paternal grandmother. His mom is a narcissist. He lived with his dad for 2 years until 3 weeks before my son died in September 2021. I’ve been documenting on this narcissist since before Sincere was born bc she was abusive to my son. My son and I had a deal that whenever she abuse cycle started he would drop my grandson off with me. Sin would have his regular routine (this is when he was 3 and 4) and my son would pick him up after she had her final blowup. I had my grandson at least 50% of the time for 2 yrs and I have it all documented.
So once again we are dealing with her immense need ofcontrol. She treats Sincere as tho he’s her property and not a person. I always tell Sincere his mom loves him the best way he knows how. He asked me once… “How can my mom love me when she doesnt care about how I feel?”
My grandson wants to live with me. I want to go to court for court ordered visitation bc I have zero rights as a grandparent. Then go for custody later. Plus I cannot find an attorney interested in even taking my case for visitation.

What's frustrating is when a toxic person makes inroads with your own counsel and cast themselves as a aggrieved party, so the attorney is unmotivated to defend you to the hilt.

This person has had me investigated with DCFS investigation, welfare checks by police, 14 police reports (detectives suggestion) 2 denied protective orders, report made by local police for false allegations with using police enforcement as intent to intimidate. This person went as far as making made most outrageous go fund me page that raised $. This person has blackmailed me into ruining my business By having me investigated. I finally have this Protective order granted. This person choose not to fight it. This person got minimal supervised visits.. which was the whole point of all of the Documentation for the protective order… which they Continue to violate protective order in place. I can’t stop him from taking my son every week. I don’t know if this will make it anywhere I need…. Please help me. Yes I have a lawyer who only sees concerns.

I am facing a abuser narcissist at the end of Jan.
Wish I could take my sister to court. Once she smeared me to the rest of the family, I asked my father, who is a retired attorney, "Does the defendant ever bring a frivolous lawsuit? Or is it only the plaintiff who does that?" He replied, "This isn't a lawsuit." I wish it were!
I wish I had a lawyer like you. I wanted to mediate and the day of our appointment I got served with papers. A year and a half later still not officially divorced and out $10,000. His lawyer wrote up the terms and my almost ex refuses to sign. In limbo not knowing how to get this resolved, my lawyer was not helpful.

I wasn’t notified about restraining order by my narcissist and he baited me with emails and text messages where he did oush me to crazy but still I wasn’t notified. I got no chance to show his abuse towards me.
My situation is a little different than everyone else's. I'm dealing with what I like to call The Parasite. My husband's ex. Now she's photo shopped text messages and said I sent them to her. Court is tomorrow but March 3rd we go for my motion I filed against her for breaking the injunctive. Thank you for all your help. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say it's nice that someone gets it. They're pros at making you feel like you're going crazy the stress is unreal. But you've helped put a lot of the madness into perspective and I am so grateful to you!

Going to probate court hearing with my Narcissistic Queen Bee sister is a living hell. She managed to turn our family lawyer against me, he is now adversarial towards me since I petitioned the judge to remove my Narc sister from managing the estates for misconduct, mismanagement, self-serving motives and harassment and character defamation of my person as a beneficiary.

I have to go to court in just under 2 weeks and I'm very nervous, because I know how good of a convincing liar my ex partner is. I have all the evidence to back up my claims of harrasment to justify getting a restraining order. I'm very shocked that she is coming to court to dispute it, considering the evidence I have against her. That is why I'm thinking she is going to be lying through her teeth and playing victim in court.

I was very lucky to have good cops being called by his brothers (I reached out to them) to check on me. I was locked up, keys taken... financially blocked. The cops insisted that I do a formal report on his abuse, saying that such report is golden in the divorce court. The cops made him go for a long meeting with them, so all is documented in my favor. See if you could get the cops recording the abuse. And do research, maybe there was more of such abuse recorded by the cops. I found out his arrest and jailing for abuse/dom.violence. All that indicates a pattern and is beneficial for us.
O my..I want you to counsel my son on his divorce..his horrid wife is such a narcissist…he is going through such a horrid divorce with the worst person on the planet! I knew how she was before he ever started dating her over 36 years ago. She thought there was money because we owned our own business! I’m so so afraid of what she will do to him…his attorney says he is the best…but who really knows in these cases. She is evil..pure evil..I mean PURE EVIL!!
I've spent the better part of twenty years in and out of court with my vengeful ex-wife. I simply refuse to respond in kind and scrupulously document everything. She invariably talks herself into trouble.
