Very nice condos and massive size. To put it in perspective many high-end condos start at 24 sq meters and max out at 32 to 36 sq meters. That's a nice little bar with a nice view of the big beach in South Jomtien. I live around the corner on Soi 12.
I like the idea of staying in a condo...but I do prefer the safety of a hotel in case I bring a lady before she leaves the hotel, reception always ring my room to ask if everything was ok.. In a condo she can just run away before you realise something is missing from your room. Obviously for a short stay 1-2 weeks...if is for longer like a month or more then yes a condo es the best.
Great pad, and well renovated. But those air cons look sad. A 6-8kw inverter unit would drop the electric bill by 30%. Looks like they've made 2 room into one. Thinking out loud, but a room separated with it's own ac unit would be ideal. Then a sofa would be justified to attract 2 couples or a family and ask more for rent
His place is real nice , twice the size of what I stayed in back in 2013, and I was paying 28,000 a month for three months ,… thanks for the video Sam !,..can I ask you a question, …. What does it take to provide someone with a tm30 , my brother bought a condo in Phuket and this winter will be my 3rd winter staying there, I was planning on getting my Thai drivers license this winter , I’ve watched a lot of videos on it and I understand one of the things I need is my residency permit from immigration,.. does my brother have to give me a tm30 and if so how does he go about it ( I don’t have to pay him rent when I stay there )…. Or can he just write me a letter ? Thanks Brother !
As I understand it immigration just wants to know your address at all times, so as long as a landlord gives you a lease document with the address on it, I believe you can even arrange the TM30 yourself. Hopefully someone else who knows can chime in and clarify.
If your brother owns the condo, he can register it on tm30 website, and then report you as his guest and once it’s approved print the document and good to go, it’s quite easy, I own a condo in Bangkok and report myself for the document side, but if it’s too hard go stay at the cheapest hotel you can find and ask them to do a tm30 but ask before, all the best
@@GoneAdrift i wont say how much they are, im sure people can look that up, but yeah, was looking at a jomtien beach house that i could have bought outright to head to on weekends. turns out i work too much for that.
The reason you eat McDonald’s is because Thai food is notoriously protein poor. If you are a Westerner, your body ends up craving protein that you just don’t get from any Thai food.
@GoneAdrift Mid February to mid March, 30 days 20,718 baht. But I saw on TH-cam a yearly rental is less than half what I paid in high season for short term rental.
@@lostboi3974 Yeah that makes sense, thank you for sharing that! Yeah there’s a massive difference if you can sign a 12 month contract isn’t there! Most yearly contracts go to Thais right, so the price range seems to be pitched at them, not farangs here for 3 weeks. That said, 20k for a whole month there with room service and a pool isn’t bad
TWO A/C units running and 6000 baht? Hmmm, is Jomtiem power less than Pattaya? During Covid I stayed 1 month in View Talay 6 and had to stay in the room a lot due to lockdowns. They charged me OVER 8000 for one studio :( One a/c unit (it was also loud as hell and ruined my days).

Chilled video, very spacious condos and clean n cheap, cruising around on your pushy with a beer on the beach at sunset
Love it mate. Thanks
I will definitely check it out next time I’m in Pattaya. Looks great 👍
Oh my god, it is so good to see a beach again. Can't wait to move to Pattaya.

The red three-wheeled microcar at 8:37 is a 1980's Zoe Zipper. It had a 50cc, 5hp Honda moped engine. 😊

Am looking to stay in Jomtien in a few weeks so interested. Would stay a week if I like it probably 3-4.
Could be the ticket, I'm usually in Jomtien for a week or two before exploring the rest of Thailand for a further 4 weeks, roll on the 60-day visa 😍😍

If you pay and use an agent you don’t even need the Residency Certificate for the Licence. Flick me an email and I’ll give your her number

Staying anywhere more that a week or even half a week it's better to rent an apartment. Hotels charge premium prices.

10k two weeks
