If your touchpad setting is only showing "touchpad sensitivity " then goto bios(press f2 immediately after turning on the lapotp) then go to Main tab and switch touchpad mode to advanced then it will work. Thank you

Using Windows 10 pro, I can´t find any other option apart from the sensitivity of the touchpad. The rest of the options are missing, just don't show up. Any ideas? Thanks so much.
Had the same problem with my ASUS laptop, after fixing it with some "kernnel inpage error" i can't seem to use the touchpad the same way again. My touchpad setting does not have the same settings as on this video, mine only got "Touchpad sensitivity". I tried downloading smart gesture for windows 10 and it did the job. Thanks anyways somehow this video helped me out in figuring out on what to do with my problem. 👍👍👍
Fixed my issue when I uninstalled the manufacturer driver under the "Human Interface Devices". It then automatically detected the touch pad and reinstalled it. Problem went away straight away. Thank You.
Thanks this helped me!! My issue was the driver. My computer had the options you showed here and another one that said ps/something. I just updated all the mouse devices (the ps/something ended up being my issue) and it worked after my comp restarted.
@@syedmuhammadzainali7154 I'm not sure which driver after I watched this video I realised when my laptop powers back on after shut off I always have to reset the touchpad settings to default that's what I do now. This is what I do left click on settings in the start menu, devices, touchpad, additional settings (right panel), ""ELAN", options, set all to default.
there is no scroll and zoom section : ( there is no windows explorer driver is updated there is no human interface devices I don't get it, doesn't the thinkpad T440 have a scroll function?

I was with you right up until you said "Go to the Scroll and Zoom section" in Touchpad. There IS no scroll and zoom section in my Touchpad settings....only Taps/Touchpad sensitivity. So, now what should I do? Thanks.
What does it mean if I don't have a zoom and scroll section for my touchpad!? it is only giving me options for sensitivity!!! do I just will never have it again?
im in windows 11 andin touchpad options i only can choose click option and more settings just takes me to windows 7 style options about normal mouse settings
Don't suppose you have a video that will override "Windows Hello" hardware recognition and re-enable the finger print reader again on the laptop PC to work with Windows 10, when it used to work just fine in Win 7 on an upgraded PC? If not, get on it! ;-)
SAME! did you ever get it figured out? mine suddenly didn't let me scroll using the touchpad and I don't have all these other settings like these videos show
