In my case, the touchpad starts to not respond in random occasions, especially just after few seconds when I start my lap. But when I restart my lap for twice or thrice, the problem goes away. Is this happening because of the outdated drivers too?
method 4 work for me.. I'm doubting if I will uninstall it or not so I proceed to method 5 but after trying it on my sister's touchpad coz' apparently the laptop is not mine and I'm afraid to tell it to my sister so I do seaching on how to make it work' but still it's not working so I really try the method 4 eventhough it says that I must uninstall it and thank God I try it because it works in my sister's laptop. My touchpad is working but it doesn't perform certain operations such as three finger swipe gestures, two finger click gesture. For now, it is only performing functions like one finger click & two finger swipe(Scroll). Kindly try finding a solution & let me know. Thanks!

my touchpad is randomly freezing. Should I try your fifth method to try fix it? I went through the whole process as you instructed, but have not yet changed the data field from 1 to 0 Should I give it a try? I'm also going to re-install windows on the machine, as I'm going to sell it, maybe i should do the re-install first. Maybe that'd fix it otherwise idkkk

Try changing the value to 1 again and then shutting it down, after 2-3 minutes again start the laptop and it would be working. Hope this helps
