Some running fans must be among the whiniest fans ever. Someone posts a good race so it can be watched for FREE and then folks complain about spoilers in the title. I generally already know who won the race when I go look for a video because I want to see how they won the race. Knowing who won does not detract from my enjoyment of watching the race and often actually enhances it.
cool story, coop. you let an unattached guy lead you until the last lap then show boated at the finish against a bunch of American nobodies in a nothing meet. Overseas you would have been last place. Know your place and take a humble page from Barry Sanders' playbook.
That guy was leading, but he wasn’t doing anyone in that chasing pack a favor. Cooper did all the work for that group by leading the race. And it isn’t championship season, what do you want him to do right now? PR? At a “nothing meet?” It’s called periodization. At the end of the day, he’s a professional… and he knows what he’s doing.
Title was not a spoiler at all
If you follow track at all you would have known he won 💀
Too much context
Threw the result in the thumbnail too just in case lol
Felicidades !
Not really. take big Saturday night fights. I always watch them on Sunday morning without -deliberately - having checked results. That makes sense!
awesome race to watch!

I am not sure how it enhances it. But, I also watch for the race was run.

people in this comment section are the biggest haters ever. i didn’t think the coverage was that bad to be honest
Very exciting race. There are faster Kenyans running for Japanese universities and corporate teams, though.
Track commentators get worse and worse every year. Track used to have some good commentary
American commentators are very keen about lap times and friendly with each other. They are good at making races more exciting.
People are so gay about spoilers. You can tell me who won and their final time and I’ll still watch.
Thanks for spoiling it in the title 😑
Yeah, but it was still a great race. Not knowing would have been an awesome ending for sure!!!!
