  • Cooper Teare came up through the high school ranks around the same time as the high school sub-four mile craze was at its peak. He ran 4:00.16 for the mile as a senior at Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, Calif. He went through his entire career at Oregon without redshirting a single season. In his interview on The CITIUS MAG Podcast, Cooper explains why his college trajectory progressed almost perfectly to a 3:50.39 indoor mile time, an NCAA outdoor 5,000m title and the Oregon school record in the 5,000 meters.
Hosted by Chris Chavez and Mac Fleet.
