I know this isn't your first video since coming back, but man its good to have you back! Super happy you're healthy, happy and back to doing what you do. The world needs more cams!
The sandblasting cabinet complimented by the pair of soft box lights was elite. haha. Love the videos man. Learning a ridiculous amount of stuff by watching. Appreciate you!
Glad to see I’m not the only one who screws things up by trying to cut corners. I’m impressed with how nicely the glass bead cleaned up the air box though. I would have expected it to just destroy the plastic. Looking great! 👏
I love the way you build bikes and the amount of effort you put in, i absolutely hate seeing people start every single bolt with an impact, the fact you use hand tools shows you care
Another awesome video I’m glad you’re making videos again Cameron keep up the great work ! I love your eye for detail and thanks for not cutting corners !
When I was young I was detailer yardie in a bike shop. Every dirt bike with a kick starter I always took off and polished them up which just give the bike a better look.
Another excellent episode/update and it's good to see you getting back into work so well again Cam, I hope all is good with the little one at home and your lovely wife, I remember that dream wedding you two had, quality times eh! Looking forwards to seeing the results of your hard work as you restore and rebuild, you and I share a love for dirt bikes, I restored many in my time, it's just so satisfying to take a dirty worn out battered bike and bring it back to better than new, I love that, mind you all my restorations were 4 stroke bikes as I used to prefer the sound and the power characteristics but I recently purchased a 2014 KTM SX 85 which was fast enough as it came but I then put a 105cc top end on it and took some time to get the jetting spot on and I now realise what I've been missing, the thing is a rocket ship! what a 250 must be like blows my mind. Best wishes to you and all the family Cam and lets hope things just keep getting better and better as we head into 2023, ride safely my friends.
love it dude, lookin tight. except now I'm pissed at myself for spending so much on a new kickstarter, I didn't realize I could have just bought a kit for new spring and balls! a rookie mistake I will not be making again thanks to you.
It's really coming along now! When you anodized the forks, I wasn't sure I'd like the end look of the build. But now I'm seeing how they'll make it really come together! I wish the giveaway was open to Alaska though
Back in 1992 I snuck into the woodwork room at school with my kick starter and levers and polished those parts til they shined like mirrors… I must have been 13 or so, bike was a kx125 87 model I was chuffed with myself at the end result…. Been rebuilding bikes on and off ever since
Where did you get that rear fender, is it OEM Suzuki? I wanted to order one for my bike and my local Suzuki dealer said it is no longer available. I wouldn't like to buy after market as my bike is completely OEM and in brand new condition, only the rear fender has some scratches.
Nice, that's awesome 👌 do you think that for your front forks tube that if they were to be powder coated with just plain black and that if you open a bit those triple clamp that it would work? I am not setup for cerakote but only for powder coating. I want mine to be black.
Hey brother quality content yet again! Im wondering what you use to attach the scotchbrite wheels to your die/air grinder, is it a 1/8th or 1/4 collet? Also do the mops come with a shaft attached or is that a separate thing. Appreciate all that you do for us fr bro, much Luv from the Uk!
Hi Cameron. I have an issue that perhaps you can help me with. I have a 2009 Yamaha WR250F which just had a bottom-end rebuild. We replaced the crankshaft, cylinder, and piston with brand new parts. After reassembly, we went to start the bike and after a few minutes running we noticed that the oil tank was bulging and then burst open right under the fill/drain plug (see attached photo). We welded it shut, then started the bike. After leaving it running for a while to break in the new piston and cylinder, the oil tank burst open again, this time through the seams on the side. We are stumped as to what can be causing such a build up of pressure in the oil system, enough to make the oil tank bulge, then burst. I should add that we did not overfill or exceed the oil capacity of the engine, in fact, we underfilled by 200ml. Can you or anyone else offer any insight? Much appreciated.
Those plastic coatings don't last. You can dry ice blast or vapor blast at low pressure to remove the top UV damaged layer and then polish it up with a sheep wool pad at low speed to get it back to original condition.
Hello! you your videos always start with subtitles in Portuguese, that's the best! however this one is not showing the Portuguese option... thank you in advance for your great work!
Cameron, PLEASE, I have to know what your mom and dad did for work. Were you influenced by them or did they teach you to be so clean and perfection artist...I have to know!
Your videos kick ass man. Admit your mistakes and fix them. You use PPE. And keep your content informative and fun! Still want you to do a YZ...just saying lol
Cameron, you always do a wicked job but I can't help but feel like it takes you way longer to finish products using the wheels, as you already have the media blaster, would it not be more beneficial to have an Aqua Blasting cabinet ? It would make the finishing process soo much quicker and less awkward in the right to reach areas. ?
the attention to detail you and both your brothers have is amazing
I appreciate that man! We're definitely cut from the same cloth haha

It's so good to see you smiling. We're getting snow this week, so are entering times of bad riding. Hope you are doing better with weather.
Love the progress Cameron. Also loving those abrasive wheels. They are fantastic.

I've been following you for 5 years nice projects... I'm from BOLIVIA South America send me a greeting
This bike is coming together really well, your attention to detail is impeccable! Can’t wait to see this bad Sally finished!
I love the fact you do all the work yourself. Nothing is farmed out. I just restored an 87BW200 for my first build. It was fun Im hooked.

Cameron that airbox looked awesome with the mat finish after you stripped the cerekote off!
Yeah the matte look isn’t too bad at all
Just love all your videos, always so helpful with your tips
Looking good, Cam!!
Do you sell the arbor or shaft extensions for the bench grinder, to get a little more room around the grinder?
Great Video ! Thanks for the deal of the month ! Is there a reason why you prefer team Coat over Plastic high Temp Paint such as VHT can ?

It’s too addicting! Never gets old!
That trim coat is great stuff, does it work also for a clear tank?
Cameron, I would love to see that Cerekote on an old Gas Tank.
Cameron, do you have a link for the full face respirator you were wearing?
You're like Clickspring for dirt bikers, lol. Love the build! (and it's not because I'm biased towards RM's even though I totally am...)
what are your thoughts on a grinder. i dont mind spending money for better tools but im not a mechanic
Nice work what brand is the bench polisher.
Looking good buddy!
Thanks man!
So glad to have you back uploading regularly again. Only concern I have 😂 is finish the dangon rm250 already 😂 😂
Quality takes time!

Thanks Eric! Powder coat wouldn’t be good for fork tubes. Too thick of a coating and it wouldn’t clamp well
Hi, what did you polish the filter box with?
Signed up! Thanks for the chance of winning!!! You have inspired me! I have now rebuilt bikes for my kids…next one is for me!

Damn!!! That is looking incredible!!! Quick question. Will the subframe require some type of coating so it won't oxidize?
Thanks Todd! No, most subframes come raw and they have no issues with corrosion
