I bought a Schecter V-1 Apocalypse a few months ago and I love that guitar. I have a bunch of Gibson's and this guitar is so fun and easy to play for a fraction of the cost. Sure Gibson's are more sought after and have a higher resale value but Schecters like these are amazing guitars.
Just got my 2nd Schecter for Christmas. My wife got me the E-1 Evil Twin and i love it first time playing with Fishman pickups. . Man they make that guitar sound mean as shit. Cant believe we have the same guitar. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻.
Awesome Guitar, I knew it would be an E1 model as soon as you took the box out of the shipping box because of the size. I have an E1 snow leopard Sweetwater exclusive and Schecter Guitars are probably some of the best guitars out there especially since you get a lot of bang for the buck!
Гитара выглядит просто огонь!!! Да же сам не отказался такую пощупать. Schecter с каждым годом всё интересней и интересней💣💣💣 Эти звукосниматели захватили рынок. Спасибо за новогодний обзор!!!
Absolutly beautiful guitar! I hope, you will have a lot of fun with it! Sure, please share some content using this axe! 🤘 Maybe my next one will be a Schecter, too. Actually thinking about three brands. 🙈
Thanks! I've already recorded a bunch of music with it that will be used in various videos and I'm also going to do a full dedicated review... stay tuned!
I have that guitar. It is an SLS Evil twin, you are correct. I did a photoshoot with my Hellraiser and cab. Well not really a photoshoot, just a could pics lol
That Schecter reminds me a lot of Ace Frehley's iconic mirror guitar. I play a schecter C-1 platinum with active EMG 81 and 85. Schecter build great guitars
I’m really fond of the Thin C and Ultra Thin C necks on the C-1 SLS Elites, but I strongly dislike the open pores on those necks. Therefore, my preferred Schecter is a satin-finished KM-6 MK-III.
Honestly I find that schecter often tends to go a little too far with their designs, a little too pointy. Where something like the firebird, explorer, V, rhoads and iceman all strike a better balance between classy and metal
Im so sick of all the notches that guitar makers have to put in Explorer clone body shapes to avoid lawsuits from Gibson. Gibson should just license out the Les Paul and Explorer body shapes to other manufacturers.
Also, and I don’t know if you agree, but what is your opinion on their brand as a whole? Some players say Satan worshipers play them etc… BUT I only like the ones with Roman numeral inlays in the neck. To me that makes it stand out, and seems like it differentiates them from other brands. Then they have its like a “family fun” series that doesn’t look tough at all lol.
Well, I haven't thought about it much aside from the fact that I really like a lot of the guitars that they make. The specs, the features, the looks etc. I also like that they're not afraid to try crazy stuff like the 9 strings etc

I bought a new Schecter PT BK on Thomman like a year ago. I was amazed by the low quality plastic nut and the awful adjustment who made the guitar out of tune already from fret 1... For 800€ guitar the quality was lower than a 200€ harley benton. Schecter.. never again.
Gibson doesn’t bother setting up the guitars before sending them out. They clearly don’t check them either. My Dave Mustaine V was unplayable when received. Thomann have been no help either. Both of them a disgrace.
Unless your guitar somehow arrived literally broken or weather damaged, this is such a stupid take. Gibson (and everyone else) puts a factory default setup on their guitars that's meant to be customized after purchase to your preferences. The techs at the factory don't know your specific preferences so they do a generic "one size fits all" sort of setup. Sometimes a 3d party retailer (like Sweetwater or Thomann) will do their own setup as well. All that hardware is adjustable for a reason and many guitars will come with the tools you need to tweak action, intonation, relief, etc. I've adjusted every guitar of any brand to my own specs right after purchase. If you aren't doing the same, you're missing out on half the process of acquiring a new instrument. Not customizing the guitar after you buy it is like buying a new car and never adjusting the seat height and rear view mirrors and then complaining to the car manufacturer that the car didn't fit you exactly.
Alot of layered mutipiece neckthrough construction guitars. Are kinda dead sounding to my ears. With Fishmans it won't matter much. Chugga Chugga. How much does it weigh?
Cool, but Gibson could do it, they just don't wanr to! They could make sooo cool guitars but they will always be this dusty, old company who is just referring on their legacy. Epiphone would be perfect for some signature models like Angus Young, Don Felder, Jimmy Paige, Chad Kroeger.....

Schecter is a company that understands what people want and delivers.
They're not afraid to listen to the customers and innovate
I'm not a schecter guy but this is probably the coolest looking one I've seen in recent memory. Congrats, and Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Schecter guitars is my preferred metal brand guitar. they are awesome.
I love them!
I think Schecter IS my favorite brand at this point.
That looks absolutely sick! Very nice!
Hey John congrats on the new guitar!
Guitar looks great, I’d say the back is for sure the coolest part
Yeah the backs of the Evil Twins, Apocalypse and SLS Elite guitars are absolutely beautiful
I love the SLS Evil Twins so much. I have the C-1 and the PT. I guess I need an E-1 now too 😅
Awesome....Rock n Roll...Love my Schecter Demon for the money it was a great purchase 3 years ago
Since those guitars always come set up for E Standard tuning, what adjustments do you make when you downtune? Do you replace the nut or something?
A good nut would not need to be replaced. I just intonate and set the action
I don't play that style of guitar, but Wow that Axe is beautiful 😊
The back especially looks sick as fuck! Congrats, man!
OMG! This guitar is so gorgeous!!! Congrats!!!
In my opinion there is a bit too much hate on Gibson in this last years

just got a solo evil twin and the thin neck makes it so enjoyable to play
I love the look and specs of Schecter C1 Apocalypse FR Rusty Grey. Too bad that they don't do it anymore :( I'd buy it without hesitation.
How many new guitars have you acquired in the past 6 months? 😮
