I'm not sure why some people think I confused India with Indonesia. I said India and I meant India.
Probably because most people have seen guitars made in Indonesia, but few have seen guitars made in India. I know I have never seen one.
I'm sure the folks building these are "Doing the needful."
They think India must be an abbreviation of Indianesia.
India is where the newer Chapman guitars are built. Rob Chapmin did a factory tour on his channel. Really modern, super clean factory. The work they were doing looked Beautiful.

@Dreyno no, he was just a drunk.
The "J" stamped underneath the pickup stands for JUNK.
Make 20-min Guitar Solos Great Again
I don’t care about the guitar, I’m here for your hair, it’s lovely. Please share your routine!
According to the U.S. customs and Border Protection web page "Every article of foreign origin entering the United States must be legibly marked with the English name of the country of origin unless an exception from marking is provided for in the law."
Cope

Bro still has all his mattresses because you are not supposed to remove the tag.
How does Trump expect me to make America great again when he doesn't offer a left-handed model.
Didn’t epiphone make a bolt-on neck LP at one time?
I've mentioned elsewhere that Ibanez, Yamaha, Tokai and others made bolt-on LP copies that have been considered desirable.
@@PatternRecognitionMusic The bolt on necks aren't the desirable models, unless they're Fender copies. Some people like cheap Japanese guitars but only because they're cheap and look old.
@alfsmith4936 I would suggest checking out the market on those older LP copies I mentioned - you might be surprised. Sure, set neck Studio Lords for example sell for a bit more than the bolt-on versions, but the bolt-ons are still quite desirable and very well made.
Bolt on necks are better. They sound better.
@w1zard0f0h I think that's kind of subjective. They're certainly easier to manufacture well, while set necks are more labor intensive to get right.
I want a Donald Trump jr nose flute!
for $1500 you could get a used made in USA kiesel or a Fender american series or a ESP LTD or a PRS SE and Max you missed the opportunity to play “still rock in america” by Night Ranger
Not only that. You can get a BRAND NEW USA Fender for that kind of money! 😂
Les paul studio, epiphone greeny
As a Trump supporter, I wouldn't buy it. Unless I had a TH-cam channel that would pay for it in return. Especially the autographed one. But people with money to waste will I suppose. For the money I would go buy a new Telecaster or something. But the people buying these aren't buying for the quality. It's more of a statement or collectable or whatever. I honestly think they missed the Mark and should have gone American but I am pretty sure Trump probably didn't set all of this up. He likely endorsed it for someone as a favor. Possibly Lee Greenwood. This would make more sense. But Lee seems to be a little greedy here. Could be for a fundraiser for Trump but it seems a little small time for him to have dreamt up. Just my opinion anyways. Lee probably had them made in India too so it wasn't China if Trump asked. Which is still lame. But they sold out quick and I don't think the Trump fans are complaining about them.
@@sunnyray7819 they actually didn’t sell out.
You can still get the American eagle ones.
@trevor4533 Ok, I was not aware. Thanks.
I appreciate this review, very well done. And I sense it's a very kind way of saying "kit guitar with a cool wrapped top and an acceptable neck pickup" :)
You shared exactly what we needed to hear, and in a very kind way. Appreciated.
I'm glad you appreciated the review.
Happy New Year Max thanks for the video 🤘
Happy New Year!
Sounds great actually
Sounds cheap next to the real thing
... through $$$ amplifiers !!! Any doubts?
Pickups sound pretty dang good
Great review! There’s no way I’d spend that kind of money for that guitar knowing the other choices in that price range … and $11,000.00 … I don’t think so! But to each their own …
Max did you check out the serial number? The first 2 or 3 letters will often tell you what factory it was built in for imports.
There are no serial numbers.
@ oh my bad. I assumed whatever that is on the top, rear of the headstock was a SN. Thanks for the quick reply!
@@GuitarMAXMusic That's kinda effed up right? A collector's item without a serial number. Basically, it has no provenance besides a "certificate," a signature that could have been generated by a robot arm and a sawtooth wave oscillator, and it's worthless because it's easily copied.
@@perrynichols3672 trump committed charity fraud and used the money to buy a painting of himself. Also he's an epstien associate. Did you expect anything other than a scam?
I got number 371 yesterday and I think quality is good enough. The blemish on that star is on all of them. Great video friend
If you ever want to sell it let me know ,, I tried buying one but the sold out to fast
@mandrakeblackstone5838 shows they are in stock. Was showing sold out a few weeks ago
So, it would take $300-$400 of upgrades to make it a $200 guitar? Sounds about right for him.
I think you're right, people are buying them as a collector guitar. Surprised they didn't make a strat style one. If they did I'd consider grabbing one and hanging it on my wall if it didnt cost so much.
Bolt on neck, blah...
You don’t like Stratocasters?
@@driller7714 I'm a Les Paul Style guy.. And just will not play a bolt on. Never Ever! That's me... Just doing me.
@@ChaChingDream Everyone has their preferences. However, unless it says Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul on the headstock it’s not a Les Paul.
I would think a Les Paul person would be more concerned with the mid shaped horn or headstock that’s visible on pretty much all LP clones rather than a neck joint no one sees and doesn’t affect the playability of the guitar in the least.
@@driller7714 It reminds me of a CB Sky guitar, I bought my sister's kid, for $50.
@@driller7714 obviously referring to copies of set-neck guitars. Fenders generally are only bolt-on neck.
Max, Another TH-cam video showed a non signed Trump guitar at $1500.
It was in a box with certified documents. But...But...the box said 45th president. That would mean these were sitting on the shelf for 5:years. Because he is now the 47th president. So, I guess they made these when Trump was in office before. Neat, Huh?
He's not the 47th yet. Not till 1/20/2025...so he used his current standing title of 45
@CS-ru4xd Makes sense.
@@CS-ru4xd It would also have been an incredibly embarrassing blunder to, while these were being thought up, brand it with "47" only for him to lose months later. God that would have been a funny series of blunders though.
There's still a chance he could be the 48th instead
@@averythegamer4949 Right? Lol
I bought a Harley Benton SC 400 for €129. It has no defects and works perfectly. The Trump guitar may not be from China, although it is brave to judge the country of manufacture from the pots, but it has the quality of a cheap Chinese guitar. I don't understand how you can sugarcoat this crap!
Thank you for mentioning a scarf joint. They are very strong and last longer than flat sawn neck.
