    In this vid I measured using Millimeters 👍 Sorry for the confusion…I made this vid too late at night 🤪

      It says cm on the ruler. Not sure I'm understanding this correctly.

      @littlevictoriessportscards197  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used mm not cm, sorry for the confusion in the video. There should be mm on a standard ruler, they're the little marks between the cm. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated@@Kevin-he3ew

    Very informative Dustin. Always wondered the how & why behind the grading process. I usually do the measuring & card wiping but never have done the card math. 🤔🤪

    Loved the video one question I have is for example a Jaylen Waddle 2022 mosaic how to you measure the borders on the front those mosaics have no borders . So what would PSA do to measure the front? …thanks Jim

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So I looked at the 2022 waddle mosaic, and you should look at the white rectangle around his name on the bottom front. Measure the distance from the left edge to the end of the left side of the white rectangle. Do that to the right side too. Those distances should be the same for each side. As for top to bottom centering, I would measure the bottom edge to the bottom of the white box, and compare that number to the measurement of the top edge to the top part of the dolphins logo 🙌 Hope that helps! Thanks for viewing!

    Another way people can do this is by buying one of the centering tools. It has a grid on it to allow you to just take the numbers and get the percentages. They are cheap, but they are very helpful.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Centering tool is definitely a good option too 👍 I’m just old school and stick with my ruler 🤪 Thanks for the view and comment!

      @@littlevictoriessportscards197 Both work for sure. I just thought new people to grading would benefit from something where it’s just laid out for them with the card saying what numbers mean what centering. I also think that helps visualize it too.

    Good stuff, always enjoy your videos...thanks for putting this out there. My question is similar to Beachlover...are there some cards that you just can't measure centering and just have to hope for the best or are you always able to find some reference point on the card? I'm thinking of like a '96-'97 Fleer Kobe Bryant that has no borders at all. Thanks again.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually you can always figure out a reference point. For example the 1996/97 fleer, I use the ‘fleer ‘96-97 rookie’ stamp on the top front 👍But when I do feel confused about a reference point, I usually go to eBay and search that card in a PSA 10. Then I match up my card to that PSA gem 10 photo, and see how it compares 🙌 Hope that helps! Thanks so much for the view and comment

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I do 👍 Short answer is by buying raw cards and grading them through PSA. Then selling on eBay. My years of experience is also a key factor. Thanks for the view! 🙌
