I have the same unit.. I'm curious as to why in the split screen as you show, the top traditional view lists the frequency is 50khz at the bottom of that top window.. But if I select to view only the traditional single screen the lowest frequency I can select on that set up is 150khz..

I will try to watch as many of the vivid series as I have an Old Town Autopilot 120 kayak, with a garmin vivid 4CV fish finder. I have yet to physically have it out with the fish finder installed. This weekend I hope
Update.. Once I was on the water I had access to the same frequencies as in this video., I was messing with the unit in Simulation mode to set up the unit before being on the water and the frequency selection is different in simulation mode

I can choose 77khz and 200khz on traditional. keep in touch
