Spencer Gadoury I know depression can feel like a significant problem in your life, and what I’m about to say sounds cliche, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Coming from someone who was often depressed during my high school days. It can vary and way down on people’s lives harder than others, but there’s always good things to be found in life regardless of your situation. Good things in life that make you feel happy, like TV or even getting to experience a show that you love like BB with people watching for the first time, like you’re doing with The Normies. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but your comment proves that there’s good things to look for in life, and watching these reactions are something I do to make my mood better as well. Stay strong my guy. Do things that make YOU happy or that interest you. Work hard in life to try to make your personal life better and push through it. Life is hard, but we sometimes make it harder than it is so thats my best advice. Some days will be worse than others but more times than not things work themselves out and ultimately you’ll turn out alright, sounds cliche again but it’s true. Just always keep that in mind dog💯

Before this episode, Walt has told his share of lies to conceal his criminal activities. But it's at this point in the series that he becomes a more creative liar. It makes him a better criminal and a lousy human being.

@@wankatony2015 Because objectively, Walt is a terrible person. He has been from episode 1, but he gets worse and worse. Yeah, people kill each other. That doesn't make it ok, it doesn't make cooking meth ok, it sure didn't make what Walt was up to ok either. I'm not sure how we are supposed to morally justify what he is doing.

The show went to some lengths in the first season to point out that Walt had other avenues to money other than cooking meth. He was a high school chemistry teacher due to his monster ego, and he refused a generous offer from his former co-workers again due to his ego. At the very least, something this horrifying and radical is something he should have shared with Skyler at the start -- he had zero right to involve them in this nutso business.
He is not a total shitty being of course. He's not a sadist, he doesn't hate everyone, he doesn't kill for zero reason. He does want to ensure his family's well-being (bit of course it's he who has to be the cause of it.. no one else can help his family). He goes to great lengths to protect Jesse and Hank, even when he's dismissing Jesse's intelligence or evading Hank's DEA.

Much prefer the group of 3 in this video! We get to see Hannah and Rana(2 people that haven’t seen it) and Nahid as a nice edition because it often helps to have the insight of someone that has already seen it tag along. I don’t like when there’s 5 people and everyone’s trying to talk and chime in, resulting in some pretty annoying shit to watch. Not my decision but this group of 3 is the way to go lol

OllieBlazin Obviously, I know that he tore his family apart, but that's not my point. One of the main draws of Breaking Bad is witnessing a mild-mannered nobody becoming a ruthless drug kingpin, and it's for that reason why many people hate Skyler, because she constantly gets in his way.
And I misspoke when I said he was an empathetic character throughout the series, what I meant was that he was empathetic for *most* of the series' lifespan. For many fans, Walt became unlikable after the season 4 ending. But it's all subjective anyway, as there is a vocal minority who is still on Walt's side after season 5.
