Making the claim to the people his family does dealings with that he snitched on someone, but that was an exception because it was personal and totally not something he'd do to anyone else, now that would be difficult, considering how paranoid everyone is already.
"they're all doing not-good things" yup, just like everyone IRL, and just like everyone IRL they rationalize how the "not-good" things were necessary, or how they had no choice, or were actually GOOD things.
1:55 Out of focus is something that is a hint for things to come. This show is so clever, that they give you glimpses of things you don't see as anything important, until after a specific future episode or season.

I like all of Jesses "boys", Badger, Pete, Combo. But you have to admit, in that situation in the basement, Badgers behaviour was pretty stupid and annoying. Imagine you need to get rid of evidence that could get you in jail for many years, and that the cops would probably be back at the house more sooner than later, and you buddy seriously ask stupid sh*t like "can't we cook a quick batch?".

Im funny with needles. My thinking brain has no problem with them. My subconscious will make me pass out from them. If I watch a needle go into my arm, I will get light headed and need to be watched. But I have no problem watching it go in.
Hank early on, was hard to really like, due to the way they had him act. A bit of a bully early on, and later they really make the character more nuanced and subtle. He has his macho persona, but as with any guy, it's used as a shield for things you have to deal with. Same way a Goth uses their "image" to shield them from pain or trauma, and not allow people to get too close emotionally.
Yeah Badger and Skinny Pete get better as the show goes on. Really all of Jesse’s friends show extreme loyalty, but I get it tho. Badger comes across as kind of dumb in the early stages

@@maxducoudray yea I got to season 4 episode 1 and had to stop bc it was too dark and depressing. Plus episode can be slow and you just sit in the darkness for too long especially if you binge it. There is one episode that will haunt me forever. I’m glad I can rewatch it without ending up depressed! Their banter helps a lot

I'm not into guns at all, but even I know two assault rifles and could probably identify them visually, the M16 and the AK47. It looked like an M16 to me. So my guess would be that either they uses the wording M16, exactly because it's even know to the "non gun-nerd" viewer. Or if it's really the civil version, would Hank be even able to see the difference from that distance during a shootout?
Wiki states it’s an M4A1 and that Hank misidentified it as an M-16. I’m not much into guns but I thought that AR-15’s are semi-automatic without being modified in some way? Also this was like 2008-2009, before most of the AR-15 discussions in the media.
