Imagine a show so great where people argue the worst episode is the best episode.

In the fly, it shows how Walter deep down inside feels bad about Jane, he doesn't regret it, but he feels bad for dragging Jesse down with him. Also for Jesse, he really didn't care much about precautions and safety until this episode and saw Walt caring a bit too much. Took that advice with him to Mexico and lectured the chemist about contamination.
You're goddamn right
its not only that, fly means the bug, but also the "fly" crash that jane´s dead provoked, at the end walt seems not bothered at all by the fly, the bug and the accident, nice analisis tho
it also shows how much he is changed. through a fly, a measly living thing, which can be easily swatted with enough patience. but walt goes sicko mode on the bug, losing it, hurting himself and his image. It is my second favorite episode.

You can justify it as much as you want, it was the worst episode in the series by far. What's the point of being deep if the execution is underwhelming?
I absolutely love Ozymandias, like I completely understand why it's so highly rated, but damn, Felina will always be the #1 for me. It was such a perfect conclusion to the series. In my opinion, that is.
I agree almost every series i watched had a bad ending breaking bad managed to tie everything up perfectly
A great ending indeed, but Ozymandias was the ton of bricks to the stomach that everyone was waiting for. That was really the climax of the series and the true fallout for Walt. His redemption was a nice tack on, but all of his misgivings needed to come to a head and boy did it come in that episode.
Felina is definey 1 for me as well, i had no idea what was going to happen during each scene and by the end with the song playing i cried like a baby, im so sad that the show is over but that episode was so good
I was so hyped for Ozymandias after hearing all the great reviews about it and man I was not dissapointed. Also, at the end of Granite State, how cool and awesome was is to hear the series theme for the first and last time within the show? It was a picture perfect moment and vince and the team nailed it!

Notice how no episode on season 5 is rated below 8.9, just shows how great that season was
I disagree with that part of the list. To me, season 4 is the overall best season.
Season 5 has some of the best episodes, but the early ones especially seemed to drag a bit and are ranked way too high on this list.
@@matthewwagner6 Personally I think season 5 is better because I felt like season 4 really didn't pick up until episode 8, and season 4 has some of the lowest rated episodes such as thirty eight snub and open house. The only episode I thought that dragged in season 5 was fifty one but even that episode had some great moments.
@@matthewwagner6 I can see why you think the earlier episodes of season 5 dragged, but I think the reason people like them so much anyways is because Walt is in full Heisenberg mode manipulating everyone, and Mike is in full assasin mode, and it's just a blast to watch. I think the first half of Dead freigth is the only part of season 5 that dragged. Waayyy too much exposition. I really don't understand how that episode can have a higher rating than all of season 1-3 and even Crawl space. Most overrated BB-episode ever, worst episode of season 5 imo.
Leli Dawi The train heist was awesome though!!
@@maxeyre2024 Yeah, the ending and much of the second half of that episode was awesome, and there were some cools scenes at the very start, but most of the first half and the middle were just exposition and planning for the train heist, with no real drama, tension or emotional investment at all. I don't care if they succed or not. At this point in the show I'm not really routing for them, at least not for Walt. And I certainly don't need to hear every detail of how they're gonna do the train heist. It just felt like the writers were trying to avoid plotholes. Other than that, season 5 is the best season of any tv show imo.

Ozymandias really is a perfect 45ish minutes of television. It being one of the few episodes in all of TV to get a perfect 10 on IMDB is not unwarranted.
It’s the only one in IMBD with enough ratings to qualify

Whats truly crazy to me is how many of the best episodes are in the final season. I think 5 seasons is the perfect amount for a show like this. It doesn't overstay its welcome, and it leaves you wanting just a little more. :)
Fly is one of the best episodes IMHO. It's a bottle episode which is why so many people don't give it the credit it deserves.
Walt and Jesse's monologues alone in that episode put it at at least an 8.5-9 for me. Yes nothing technically "happened" to advance the plot, but a TON happened in regards to character development for those two. That makes it an episode that is crucial to the show. If I am trying to rate the worst episode, I would probably pick the one that you could most easily remove without it having any noticeable effect on the rest of the series. Fly does not fall into that category.

But for someone who has never seen the series, it does have key moments for Walt and Jesse that have impacts on the rest of the show. @@EliteNormie I don’t know. I see what you mean but at the same time it sounds like a secondary school English class. Maybe because it was made FOR a secondary school English class. Idk
@@funwithfish1507 Lol I get you. It does sound pretentious when I put it into words but I did genuinely like it for that reason :P
@@EliteNormie i don’t get it but I get it lol

fly?
The episode "Fly" can be discussed in many ways.
Walt is the one who is cautious of any "contamination " of his lab. And he wants to get rid of it and thus along wuth Jesse he try to remove it.. Jesse is the one who removes/"kills" the fly
Which can be said that the other chemist who was like the "contamination" in the path of walt and jesse. BY the order or idea of walt, jesse removed him from the path.
Crawl space has my favourite ending to any episode. Chilling
The top 3 are simply some of the best things television has ever seen.
Negro y Azul is in my top 3 because of the song
Top 11:
8 episodes of The Final Season
This alone already destroys the comparison between Breaking Bad and GoT.
I don't think I've ever seen any other piece of media with a perfect 10.0 on IMDb. Truly, "Ozymandias" _is_ the king of kings.
My Opinion on the seasons
1.)Season 4
2.)Season 5
3.)Season 3
4.)Season 1
5.)Season 2
There are no bad Seasons in Breaking Bad.The only part that feels boring is the section of episodes 3 - 6 in Season 2 which have the most filler parts in the show thus justifying its lowest ranking.Don't leave Breaking Bad there people.Have a little more patience. There will be time for guns , blood , huge ships of meth etc.Greatest trait of the show is that it never rushed things
You realise that a TV series is a masterpiece when the worst episode has 7 and it's probably one of the best
10 out of 10. I'm not sure if there is another episode in entire IMDb with that many number of votes. Also the fact of final season's having the best ratings shows how great this series was written.
I heard Attack on Titan has two episodes with a 10, but I haven't confirmed it myself.
There is a bigger number of votes, Game of Thrones has some episodes with 300k+ number of votes. However there is not a single episode with that many votes holding a score of 10/10, not even Attack on titan, that is hell of an achievement

Gray matter (S1E5) is probably one of the most important episodes on the show.
In reality most people would’ve accepted the charity to pay for their cancer treatment, but we know all why Walt didn’t lol
Also I know somebody probably already said this but idc
best part. none of these episodes fail to keep your attention throughout the entire thing
The Fly episode is now making more sense with Better Call Saul ending...
Fly episode is the best episode to show Walt’s ability to burn everything for the sake of his revenge and ambition, without showing any adrenaline pumping moment.
dud i actually liked fly so much, because there is just jesse and walt and nobody else
*When every episode isn't tied for 1st*
Impossible! Maybe the archives are incomplete!
Yeah
Every episode is piece of Art
I still remember when saul put an ad after the plane crash in residential area.
That ad was hilarious, though all of his ads were hilarious.
goated show. omg just finished it an hour ago . ate it in one week. damn,I’m speechless. amazing work by cast and vince
Now you should watch el camino, and then better call saul
@@lokiinepe yesterday I started BCS ,and then I’ll be watch él camino, cuz tbh I’ve read so much info about what to watch next cuz I wanted to watch it right and then I saw that ppl sayin u can actually watch él camino after BRBA or BCS either like they’re the same so I’ll won’t spoil something and will see properly the plot
@@weirdafbalenko Personally El Camino felt a lot more powerful right after finishing Breaking Bad, so I would recommend watching it as soon as you can
Entire show is a masterpiece
for number 40, ep3 of season 1...that would've been my breaking point. After cleaning a guy up off the floor after a bad drug deal I would've quit and be an underapreciated teacher again.
Los últimos 5 capítulos de la quinta temporada son una maravilla la verdad que para mí son perfectos
Best episodes of each season:
Temp 1 - crazy handful on nothin' (6)
Temp 2 - grilled (2)
Temp 3 - full measure (13)
Temp 4 - face off (13)
Temp 5 - ozymandias (14)
Putting fly in last place is more criminal than all the things Walter has done
Fly is a bottle episode (to cut some expenses), some series has it. It generally tries to explain the feels and reasons for main characters. And Br&Ba perfectly used this technique.
