      @@ElvisB.Dimitrov Meeting my first gymnast was really great. He is Anton and from Ukraine then came to US and is now a citizen. He is 22 and extremely lean. It was fun helping him train (he took hard punches to prep for his abs challenge). Our gym doesn't have rings that I know of so didn't get to see him use those. You and him gave me a lot of motivation to train more like a gymnast. I grew up with a dad in the Army and an older brother. We all went into wrestling. My dad made us boys do push ups and sit ups from a very young age. I'm 24 now and have done sit ups most of my life. But seeing how Anton built his abs was what I needed. I'm still working on front levers but love hanging leg lifts. Great to subscribe to your channel. Keep up the great work in 2025.

    Up early, pushing hard like it's the end of the world... everything feels perfect, except for the fact that as a beginner, if I try this, my lower back would probably be toast! 😅 But , maybe there's a beginner-friendly version you can show us ?

    Yo bro i want to start calisthenics is there any tips that you may have or should i just start and learn as i progress

      Hey, man, it’s great that you want to do calisthenics. My advice for you is to master the basics. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, the basic movements are the foundation. Focus on improving the form on exercises like pull ups, push ups, rows, dips, pike push ups, hollow body holds, squats and hinges. Teach yourself how to feel your whole body when doing those movements. Build your strength on them and when you’re strong enough, add some weights and take them to the next level. With a solid foundation, you’ll be able to start training for any skill you’d like. Getting super strong on pull ups and rows will unlock you the front lever in no time, for example, with some accessory technique and core work. I’ll be posting workouts for any levels on my channel. I hope you’ll find them helpful. Wish you best of luck. Consistency is what matters the most.

    I have a question: Now you have changed your split to push pull legs or you just wanted to do a pull day ?

      Great that you noticed, Dorosario. I was doing my previous split for about 8 weeks to focus on the muscle ups and the handstand techniques. Now I’m switching to PPL so I can do more front/back levers and train for the 90-degree push up (Pull and Push days respectively). My workouts change depending on the goals I’m chasing. With calisthenics, it’s hard to combine training for technique, strength, and mass. You need to program ahead and structure time slots where you prioritize one over the others.
