It’s definitely slower. My car at 316 will do 100-150 in 4 seconds, this takes more like 6-7
@@mcgherkinstudios Wich mean it is possible this car makes about 180-220 hp because of the heat in some parts of this video?
@@goedendag5335 I would suspect it's probably around the stock power mark throughout as it appears to have the same pace even at the very start of the lap coming out of the cones - it's slightly slower as that part's uphill but throughout the first half of the lap I would say it's somewhere in the 250 range which is stock
Very nice run!
best mod would be to manuel swapping that car because the transmission is really bad in those. overall lovely car but the transmission kills all the fun imho.
The transmission isn’t too bad. It’s not perfect, but when using the car for daily driving it’s good enough. Double clutch S-Tronic I had wasn’t much better.
You overtook a saab 9-3 at 5:30 that's what counts when you drive a volvo :)
Swedish War 🇸🇪
Heck yeah love the Volvo content
Keeps impressive if a standard car can make a lap with Misha behind the wheel. aren't it the brakes then there will be another problem in general. The more impressive is an I30N
Volvo died for me, after restricting new models to 180 km/h. They clearly dont want their customers to have fun, so i dont want them to have my money.
surely with all the tech they can detect when they're on a track and do away with that nonsense.
You can fix that
Vida 3 minutes and is not limited
You can illegally remove the speed limiter, also its not because they don't want you to have fun, it's because safety is the most important factor for them.. if you don't care about safety, that's kinda sad, most car companies are putting on a speed limiter
@@idkidkk2329 then why has Germany HALF of deaths per million km road that Italy has? Apparently speed isnt a big factor in street safety.
5:18 was that a Lincoln Navigator?!
Good video
Good comment
What a beautiful car!
R5 turbo in the back ! 0:40
Why not drive more volvos? 960 6 cylinder or V70 I from 1999? Volvo 440?
So are both T4 and T5 from 2013 (Ford) engines reliable or ?? Thank you for any hints.. 😊
Yes they're are
Only T5 is 5 cyl Volvo reliable engine, the T4 is Ford i guess
@@вованчиксT5 from 2014 is 4-cyl Volvo VEA engine.,
Misha, you can have my Volvo. All I ask is one lap one!
I'm afraid that at the end of the lap, the Model lost its "T" and it's now a "5" 🙄
Greeting from México! 🙋♂️
Misha I will bring my S60 T5 expolice car :), I done 280k mileage but it's pulling like a train ;).
RIMAC ON NURBURGRINGGGGGG
you can say it is 5cyl by how it sounds)
There's no way this car has 344hp. This is a 5-Cyl 210hp stock. I had a V40 T5 Drive-e engine, 245hp stock, and with downpipe, ECU remap, BMC filter and gearbox remap, barely reaches 300hp.
He said it’s around 300 bhp, not 344. Probably sounded like he said that but he mentioned the torque which is 430 Nm. Also it’s 254 bhp stock, I don’t have a clue where you got 210 from.
@@thomasvanestrik depends on which country, Volvo has 2 models of 5-cyl engines. 2.5 litre Volvo B525 I5 which produces 254 hp or 2.0 litre I5 (B5204T9) with 210hp.
T5's always have around 245-250hp in the V40 model, no matter 2.5 liter or 2.0 liter.
210hp engine was only for another model 2003-2009 (S60) with 2.5 liter.
He does mention 300hp for his car but stumbles at the torque numbers but rectifies ( 0:58 )and says 430Nm.
@@IwillBwaitingSecond Gen V40s equipped with the B5204T9 engine (2.0L Inline 5) from before the facelift (2013 - 2015) had 210 HP on select markets. Not sure if this engine was ever available in UK and most of Europe, though.
Probably gearbox is to hot and power is reduced.
Dat speed? Hanging out with to much dutchies yet again
It has 250 horsepower?
Also sad you had to drive the slush box and not the manual! The manual is much much better!
A manual V40 T5 does not exist..
@@thomasvanestrik I’m aware lol, I meant a manual V40 in general not specifically the T5.
Je geeft gewoon te veel gas jonge!😉
Me Volvo ❤
The car has not the power it should from the beginning. Something is wrong with the engine.
Volvo, really nice cars, but the turbo ones… if you drive them hard for a while something always happens😂
SAAB ON THE RING???
basically a ford focus :)
no, since it's a volvo engine.
@@davidcarvalho8067 that... doesn't make a lot of sense. Volvo and Ford were sharing parts at that time. The 5cyl is made by Volvo and is also in the Focus.
T5 4 cil is more competitive
nobody notice the Z in the background??? 💔💔💔
Brakes from a Focus mk3.🤔
Yes the brembo brakes that are stock on the rs MK3
Bro u need off traction control..
My mom has got a V40 T3:)
😍🎉🎉
goals
Pretty sure thats < 300hp.
Yes, that's right. it is roughly 250 horses.
@@worldhello1234it has roughly 250 stock but this car does not look stock
Indeed it has a custom remap, but the heat and the Nurburgring had different plans that day so it was low on power
For that power in my opinion is slow
It seems like its heavy and not so direct, slow on shifting and not so confidental to drive.
Эти моторы B5254 любят умирать от перегрева и трещин в блоке, случаев достаточно, хотя Ford st и RS старые как-то катаются. Мотор звук дает хороший, но лёгкой мощности, как с 1.8 2.0 TSI, от него не получить.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh dear. Great driving but disappointing performance from the car
you really need to do something about that tired T5 engine. other than that. it was cool to see :)

car seems to get underpowered probably because of temps.
misha proceeds to try to slam it and push every gear anyway...
Lazy gearbox.
