Danny Deus has an unfair advantage having you as a teacher/mentor. If he chooses to do the metal detecting "thing" in life...he will surely be successfu if he even has half the tenacity as his father!l

I must say really enjoy your vids, you are a funny one. Have been using your zigzag and circular technics here in australia, and having a lot more success, many thanks, looking forward for your future vids
You could also try the sweep method with him depending on the bottle cap if you isolate the Target and drag the coil backwards until it gets to the tip of the coil about to disappear a bottle cap will usually have the distinctive iron grunt before the signal disappears a coin will not have this I use this a lot with my XP. So I slate the signal slowly drag the coil back why toggling back and forth between the signal until it disappears especially with some sort of headphone you should be able to hear the I learned in the bottle cap before it drops off

I think Daniel needs a Simplex, the new smaller coils for it may be easier with targeting also, not sure about the bottle cap descrimination. One hunt this weekend for me, on a 2020 gold slump - one silver toe ring for me also haha.

If your son is having troubles digging bottle caps that are coming in as hi-tones usually in the dime range if he switches to 10 kilohertz to cross-check the signal 10 kilohertz will make a bottle cap either Spike up into the upper upper 30s or dip way down into the teens or single-digit this is a Telltale

What vid games does your son play? My teenage son, who I'm trying to encourage to detect plays minecraft all day long. He sometimes comes out with me but prefers to stay home and minecraft with the other kids on line
I dont believe the green stone ring is plated - it looks like 925 - they dont mark plated with 925 unless it was made as a fake ---the "wave" ring I believe is silver - it is a current design and I have found a few on the Cape and they were silver and have had a few friend find them recently on east coast and theirs were silver too

If I am heading to the beach and it looks like rain I turn the radio on AM and if there is lighting in the area you can hear it.
I guess I need to start digging all the 14 and 15s. Normally when you dig a 14 it's aluminum or pull tab. 15 rings up as bottle cap.
