I have a backlog of new videos now! Im like 5-6 behind. Might have to try to do 2 per week now. Do you prefer the once per week Saturday night format or do you prefer Saturday and Wednesday's? Not making any promises yet. Its tough to predict the making of metal detecting videos. I always want to find good stuff, or have some valuable teaching, or funny content in the video.

i have always meant to tell you, of all the metal detectorists i watch, i appreciate the fact that youre the one who shows us the object youve found, right away. most generally cleaned up to show detail. thanks. i hate having to wait until the VERY END to see the items others find. well, except for the aussie guy michael. hes fun to watch 'cause hes underwater most of the time. so keep it up merrill. give those babies of yours a hug from 'nana'.

I like to think I stopped detecting in support of Merrill but in reality I can't stand the heat of detecting in Vegas, but I'm so happy to be detecting again and being inspired by Merrill's finds.

Thank you, for getting out and continuing to make us feel hungry for roundness. 😜 I’ve hunted out my village parks. Haven’t had any luck with aluminum or nickel signals. I found a vintage key near the Main St dam, and a massive penny spill which was annoying.

I’ve decided It’s not for me for detecting.
I do prefer army-green and not care about getting dirty. Cold weather has come in up here in the Finger Lakes and it sure beats having to sweat till exhaustion.
I've been watching a Netflix series about the Revolutionary War and all I can think about is all the buttons on their uniforms and how cool it would be to live somewhere that I could find those. Sadly, central east coast of Florida wasn't on any of the war maps. ;-) I will live vicariously through you.

Watching from Australia, when the grass is mowed and leaves fall from trees they compost over 50 years the coin might be 4 inches deeper, the coin didn't sink the dirt actually grew over the top of the coin. Can't wait for boarders to open so I can poach some of that USA silver.

i use the large coil on the nox i been doing ground balance and lowered sensitivity it seems to go deeper

Have watched your videos and know what to do on the beach.I am a newbie but
today I didnt use your way of detecting a beach and got nothing .
2 hours in I went back to zig zagging the beach but didn't spiral out after I finished I looked over the holes I dug. I would have saved a ton of time if I had spiraled out as I noticed I was in a patch .I would have got more hits had I have l have gone with the way you detect.. wont do that ever again.
