Hi, my name is Merrill Kazanjian. New York City is an amazing place to go metal detecting. We have lots of parks, colonial history and great beaches for beach detecting. I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 16 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. Below I will showcase some of the playlists on this channel:

I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites such as Dead Horse Bay. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

My most important series is called Becoming A Millionaire Metal Detecting. I am trying to monetize my favorite hobby in order to do it more in the future. In other words, we put the clad we find in the ground, affiliate earnings, and merchandise earnings in to the stock market and we invest it. This show started in January 2019.

Remember, wheat pennies are, and always will be the breakfast of champions! keep warm guys, thank you guys, I had a blast! Greg the Egg.
The Indian pendant is a Pontiac logo.
Was just coming on to say that!
Looks like you and Tones had a great day good to see y'all hook up again Dig On 👍
Glad you had a peaceful, Adele-free, day!!!
I humorously lean toward saying, “Mr. T”.
The rake idea is inspiring. Hardware mesh would make for smaller holes if preferred.
Electrolysis is something that is very helpful.
Would be nice to learn more about it. Sci Finds showed how to use an old phone charger, which is pretty safe, (instead of an old car battery).
8:36 sardine can thing. Not a key
Hit the like button folks!
You guys had an awesome day at Dead Horse Bay. Great video.
Keep on Tubing !! The World is Watching :) Big Up From the United Kingdom in Oxfordshire / Great Videos and liked you AT pro and Simplex comparison, Simplex is the one I want :)
The large round object with the holes in it looks like a brooch that would have had beads sewn on it. (35:51)
Awe is somebody missing Adele today! I believe that thing with the lizard or alligator was a watch Fob.
With all the silver coins and wheat pennies you find you should open up your own coin shop, big money in coins
Good eve all
That place is full of treasures 😎😎
It really is
A great day on the Bay!! Too bad I’m on the other side of the country, I’d like to dig there!! Do you have a display of Dead Horse Bay treasures? I still want those dragonflies on the wall🤩 Be safe, have fun and HH
Hey nincompoop, you missed a marble. At 31:00 right in the middle of the screen is a green marble. I love the dead horse bay videos but they are driving me nuts. I keep seeing all these things that I would love to have and you wont listen to me when I tell you to pick them up. LOL
Good eye
The badge looks like a hackney/taxi medallion
The red things off of a 1951 Pontiac car
Could that be an old taxi badge?
i think that indian is a pontiac car badge...andy from wantagh

I used to "mudlark" along the salt marshes of the North Shore of Long Island in the '60s. Arrowheads could still be found...and were. But the amount of stuff was NOTHING like D.H.B. Before I move on to that great detecting field in the sky I would love to make it down there.
where in long island??
@@nicholasdimarco374 Huntington- Centerport- Douglaston- and into the NYC Queens area of Whitestone and College Point
Harbor master? Badge
Lol, I've always called him Mr. Tones
The badge thing looks like a taxi license badge
I noticed"tones" was scraping deeper than you do! You might try that too!
I think you have found a chauffeur's badge
I thought they stopped you from going here as the contamination of the area was great
I think your first (key) was a sardine can or some kind of can lid un-winder thingy. Free unlock either way,,I'm happy.
The Emblem of Merit Coat of the Stars. Bronze Medal
It's a navy chiefs badge😅
Perhaps off the subject, but thought you might like a way to clean those corroded coins. As a distiller, we use a cleaning compound called "551" which is easily made.
The formula is: 500ml water, 50ml Hydrogen Peroxide (standard 3% found anywhere), and 1 oz. of Citric Acid (found at health food/vitamin stores or even Amazon).
Mix the solution up, scrub off the worst of the crap on the coins, and just drop them into the solution. You will be amazed at how quickly they will shine up. This 551 will work on copper, clad, and silver. Give it a try, think you will be pleased.
Awesome tip, thanks for sharing. Any thoughts on cleaning Roman coins with that sruff?
@@willkleespies8682 A note on this solution: If you are one of those who wants to preserve say an antique coin's patina of a coin or relic, this solution will strip that patina off, so keep that in mind. I use it especially on clad coins which often are found in rough condition. I'm not a collector, I just search for treasure so I clean everything with 551. There are several videos online that deal with cleaning rare coins. Check online.
@@rocketsroc Thank you. I tried home made electrolysis with little luck. I want them to see for me not to sell. Good advise though I may have to find another way
@@willkleespies8682 As a previous jeweler, I can tell you ultrasonic cleaning will not do very well at cleaning dug up coins, you need chemicals.
found a bunch of Bromos in river behind old tavern...go figure
I think it's a beach pass
D=buckle I think.
Expensive Waterman pen clip?
It’s a “public hack driver” badge, if you go to chauffeurbadges.com and scroll down to the 1951-52 you will see it.
Hey Merrill, have you ever thought of renting a small clam shell bucket and digging a chuck right out of that brush you found that badge in?
2
What style/brand of tumbler do you use?
Merrill, there is an upside to the pandemic, your one a day videos. Yah.
USN Navy that might be a chiefs badge or master chief rank badge the other one may be a harbor master badge
Wow awesome
Hack license on the 1959
You're having your own in dee "pendants", day
Good one
Merrill the badge is a NYC Hack Driver license ..
Why would so many coins keep showing up and what treasures are hidden on the other islands in Jamaica bay?
I wonder too
a hack/hackney license badge. cabs/taxis were known by that name

Why don’t you pad your bag a little lot bit for Adele she needs a good trick 😆
The Fouled Anchor is the emblem of the Rate of Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy. The fouled anchor has long been the symbol of the Chief Petty Officer. In terms of the Chief, the fouled anchor symbolizes the trials and tribulations that every Chief Petty Officer must endure on a daily basis. Attached to the Anchor is a length of chain and the letters U.S.N. To the novice, the anchor, chain and letters only identify a Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy, but, to a Chief, these have a more noble and glorious meaning.
The "U" stands for Unity, which reminds us of cooperation, maintaining harmony and continuity of purpose and action.
The "S"stands for Service, which reminds us of service to our God, our fellow man and our Navy.
The "N" stands for Navigation, which reminds us to keep ourselves on a true course so that we may walk upright before God and man in our transactions with all mankind, but especially with our fellow Chiefs. The Chain is symbolic of flexibility and reminds us of the chain of life that we forge day by day, link by link and may it be forged with Honor, Morality and Virtue.
The Anchor is emblematic of the hope and glory of the fulfillment of all God's promises to our souls. The golden or precious Anchor by which we must be kept steadfast in faith and encouraged to abide in our proper station amidst the storm of temptation, affliction and persecution.
Wow! That is mind blowing where that has been. Maybe World War II pacific theater. THANK YOU for the ID J Diesel!
How many times can you unlock the same thing in one video? Once it is unlocked, IT'S UNLOCKED! You're killing the video! C'mon man
We’ve all come to see the same occasional comment by previous individuals. But the reality is the majority of us couldn’t be without such celebratory excitement. 😀✌🏼 “This is fun club”.😜 The hunts and lessons are most worthy to watch so try to get yourself acquainted. New viewers especially will not always understand. It took me a bit to “dig it”.
Merrill have you noticed the channels that have subscribers through the roof mostly have some hot chick in them. With your wife's permission this Summer get some hot Bikini clad babe and give her a metal detector she won't even have to turn it on all she has to do is be there. I guarantee your subscriber count will go up.
Brother, I watch and love your videos but some of them put me to sleep. Less talking and more metal detecting content when the ground thaws out please. Thank you. Sorry if I was to direct. I have no filters.
