    I am trying to be a better person. This is why I am on this channel. I am dealing with and being weighed down with many Pebbles. Today is the day they start to rise. Thank You!

    • @scottperry7311
      @scottperry7311 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      How do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time. How do you get rid of all the Pebbles weighing you down, one at a time. It takes time to change course in life, and it takes time for good karma to develop and manifest in your life. Just remember to move forward. Sometimes you will get rid of the Pebbles quickly, sometimes it will look as if you are not making any progress, but if you keep trying things will get better. Things may never be perfect, and perfect never lasts in life anyway, but that your life gets better is what you want and its worth the effort.
      There is one more thing to remember and its very important. No matter what you do time will pass. If you are concerned that doing this will take a year, remember that in a year form now you will still be one year older whether or not you try to change your Karma, and that you will have many more years past that which will be determined by your present self.

    Beautiful,, what goes around comes around. Karma is real I have experienced this in my life. We are all gonna pay our earthly deeds sooner or later. We have to be careful of how we treat people bcuz we are liable of our own actions. We can't just sit back relax be happy of the wrongdoings we did. Evil is evil; Good is good. It can't be combine. That's the law from God. It is better to sacrifice a little than paying the Karma. Sometimes it will bounce back to us a hundredfold so we must be careful. God bls to all., 😍😇🙏

    Very good little video. I have a saying "We make the world we live in". It is funny how many people look at me when I say this and don't seem to understand what it means. Too many people are under the illusion that they are not part of the reason for problems in the world and that they themselves are part of the solution for those problems. This is why so many people are always screaming for others to fix their problems. They don't take responsibility for the Consequences of their actions or inactions. This lie to themselves means they can never overcome the issues they have, they cannot find the solution in reality because they try to fix a lie. Karma by right actions takes time to manifest, but Karma from wrong action can affect one much faster. The problem is that it has become a sin to tell people to take responsibility and not blame everything on other people, thus reinforcing the self delusion and in the process thinking one is smarter for it.

      On a whole I think you’re right. We tend to justify our behaviors even though they are clearly non-virtues. This is the precise reason we need to be completely honest to our selves in order to be able to correct ourselves. There is no way to fool the law of karma. Why? Because we can never fool ourselves. We know precisely what we have done, if we are completely honest. Karma and our own being is one and the same thing. Every little action creates karma. Every little word creates karma. Every little thought creates karma. Even though karma is an illusion and not stored in the dharmakaya mind essence (but in the alaya mind) karma will be our companion all the way until we reach full Enlightenment. Only a Buddha have completely transcended karma. Why? Only a Buddha have completely perfected the all knowing wisdom of dharmatha.
      Therefor, in order to be successful on the path towards our own enlightenment we need to be completely honest with ourselves. Only then is progress possible. As long as we deny the existence of non-virtues tendencies in our being we will continue producing more unwholesome karma that will bind us to samsara and the prospect of enlightenment will look dimmer for every day that goes. This is the precise reason why the minds of most people are filled with so much sadness. The good news is that we all have the means and solutions built-in ourselves to turn this around. That process starts with being totally honest with our selves. The Buddha started his cycle of teachings (the first turning of the wheel of dharma) with telling us about what our present situation actually is. He taught us how all conditioned life (like ours) is nothing but suffering. He taught us why that is the case. And that’s were we need to start if we want to transcend the eternally rotating of the wheel of sufferings. His teachings on the law karma is for us to understand what a terrible stat we actually are trapped in. Not to depress us, but for us to actually wake up to the fact of our terrible situation. Only if we actually wake up and understand how completely out of control our situation really is will we feel desperate enough to consider doing something about it. The Buddha did this out of his great compassion for us. He want us to succeed in transcending samsara, just like he did! And he knew that the only way that is going to happen is for us to be completely honest about our own desperate situation.

      @freetibet1000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shreyashi9397 I can see that you’re taking the law of karma seriously, which is important. If I understand your question right you’re asking how to view negative karma made by mistake or unintentional action, right? Well, the main point here is the word “intention” I think. Although we will accumulate some small negative karma even when our intentions have been pure or neutral it will be much less negative than if the intention behind the action was to harm as well. It is also important to understand that we make all sorts of karma all the time! If we are serious about wanting to leave samsara (the ocean of suffering) we better concentrate on the most dominant flaws in our person, rather than get overwhelmed by all the smaller events in life that creates karma too. After all, the journey towards enlightenment is a process of transformation. It should be regarded as a constructive and fruitful endeavor instead of just being scared of karma all the time. We should absolutely take the law of karma seriously but at the same time we must allow ourselves a lot of space and relaxation in that process. I know that may sound like contradictory advices but this has always been the Buddhist way. We are trapped in the net of karma because we have not yet realized the ultimate truth of reality. On the Buddhist path we keep two views simultaneously; the relative truth which teaches us the relative nature of phenomena such as karma. Then we also cultivate the absolute nature beyond all phenomena which is the emptiness nature of reality. These two views are only seen as two opposing views in the eyes of an un-enlightened being. Having become enlightened actually means having resolved the (non-existing) duality between these two views. So in that sense a Buddhist practitioner always rests his mind in a state embracing both the apparent existence of phenomena together with the knowledge of its absolute nature being empty of any true existence at all. At the time of full enlightenment all karmas are completely and irreversibly exhausted because the true nature of all phenomena have been realized by the practitioner. At that point no more practice, training or meditation is needed. All is accomplished and one is not even a Buddhist any more!

      Buddhism teach that you have to response bad Karma in a way, can not escape then you can improve yourself with good Karma. Same as prisoner complete his/her jailed term if he/she starts doing good Karma, life will change for better

    If you pray for a person, you can inclinate favourably the good in his balance, and even attain that he/she will want to do good in the future.
    Never diminish the power of praying for another person.

      @@apsarasgaming1663 karma depends on vibration and frequency. If a low vibing person, with hate in their heart, but thinks they are a good person and has a self righteous attitude, their prayers for someone else are like curses to the other person. On the flip side, u have no idea what the other person's karma is and what they are supposed to go thru and ur prayers no matter how good, may hurt them. So it depends on what and how u pray for others. Therefore, it is better just to think good thoughts or have good feelings about the person instead of wishing something for them. That raises ur vibration and sends them good vibes. That is energetic action and not just words. That energy can come back.

    Good video but we must remember that karma is not punishment. Karma is a guide to lead us in the direction. The good news is that with regular prayers, good actions and divine grace God can help us reduce and even forgive us for our wrong actions.

      It still depends on our own good actions and good thoughts to turn around our bad situations and to be forgiven by our own karma. We alone put ourselves in our existing conditions because of what we sowed and are sowing. It's our own doing that determines the result

      Karma has all kinds of sorts and forms but no matter what we have to pay it. Since I learned the law of karma my life has changed a bit. There are still problems lots of ups and downs yet, I've managed to learn the value of goodness and even the price of what we have to pay once the damaged has been done to other people. I've learned and tried to be honest as much as possible avoiding lies, deceit, deception, manipulation, bad thoughts, intentions and actions towards other. We have to think the consequences first. God bls to all., 😍😇🙏

    The reward for good behavior comes in THIS life. The punishment for bad behavior comes in THIS life. We feel good about our good actions. We feel guilty about our bad actions. People around us love us for our good actions, and hate or avoid us for our bad actions. No afterlife is needed to motivate people to do good. It is in our long-term rational self-interest.
