Always giving such great tips and techniques, Karen! So glad I joined your Patreon where more is more! Lol Thank you. I might sound like an an advertisement, but honestly your Patreon subscription is so reasonably priced that one cannot afford not to join.
Thank you so much Connie for your wonderful words and amazing support! 💕❤️
Your work is always wonderful thankyou.
Ooo I love the left hand one, especially where the green has bled into the sky area and formed magic trees.
Thanks, Karen! I think something I enjoy about painting loosely is that you get a feeling of energy. There's movement and life in the painting that you can't quite recreate otherwise!
Another tip I 'taught' myself when painting from a photograph, is that it is not necessary to replicate exactly the colour hues you are seeing. Made a massive difference to the fluidity whilst putting paint onto the paper.
Great advice! Thanks for sharing. 😊
I really enjoy all the tips to help me paint better. Thanks very much. Look forward to the next video😃

What size sketchbook should we start with Karen?
If you follow Karen’s link, it appears she is using a 5”x8” sketchbook. 😊
Strathmore makes a nice one around her size in video. I got mine at Michael's

Very nice...
Hi Karen lv Ann ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
i am probably too loose with watercolours, dont really have any control over the paints and what they do lol
Great lesson 👏
May I ask what material do you using for brittle ?
I am trying to paint lose but it’s difficult for someone who, when using a source photo, has to try to get the painting exactly the same as the photo. Then I wonder why landscapes are not my forte.
Try painting from your imagination 😊
