There is never a perfect logo when it comes to designers. The logos we all love have nothing to do with design, its the storytelling behind a company's brand that makes us fall in love with the logo.
most of these designs are an example of not spending enough time planning and thinking laterally about the best way to represent an airline,. Logo and brand design has to be thought about from so many different perspectives in order to create a professional and legible design.. None of them were bad but I'm so surprised that out of 5 designers not one design hit the nail on the head all the way through even with so many great books and videos out there to learn from. Other than that great video keep killing it Will!
You're 100 percent right. I had to do a quick Google search and it was true. Even the mockups are original. This is why we should source logo designs from reputable designers. Imagine if JetSet was a real company and they had a similar logo from a collapsed airline. Won't be Good for the overall image of the airline and for the lawsuits too.

The $300 logo was the worst one, seems like no thought went into that. The $220 logo was the best one. Just goes to show, that its not always about how much you spe d ots picking the best designer :) great video as always!
As a fiverr seller I think the marketplace is so much saturated that it costs the professional designers to set their rates beneath the average cost. There are upto 400k design services out of which only few deliver the value. But, it's not a problem with how they promote sellers there. The marketplace is controled by buyers but fiverr is good for the people with small budgets and when it comes to the purpose of freelance marketplace it's great that people get their work done even with small budget. Anyways, fiverr is one of the best out there. And, I really like the videos about showcasing the projects. I learnt alot from these videos; the kerning issues, the acutal vibe of the design, the layout and the typography. Keep making these kind of videos. These are helpful 🙂🥰❤

I'm not going to lie, I expected better from them, although they tried to make an entertainment commercial airline logo, it doesn't impact that much for an airline company. Nice content still!
The mock up on the last one annoyed me every time it appeared on screen because it the logo was SO flat. It didn't look like it was actually on the plane but just put there.
I love these videos of Will as they go through multiple designers and we see different levels of presentation. But can we agree that the part where Will made a joke of the 4th logo looking like a tick, someone had to do a real mock-up of a tick"insect airline"😅😅😅
I actually found medseen icon really nice even tho the fin is not te fist you see i got it even before you mention it, the colors too I can see it for a tropical airline, it's different and fun. Maybe the type could use a little more attention
Really, I was a bit disappointed with all the entries, logos just didn't scream AIRLINE, TRAVEL, FAST, SAFE or Luxury class. Colors & Fonts weren't nether Dynamic or dramatic. Over all 3⭐ratings.
Actually there's a local airline in Pakistan (Air sial)that has a star logo but it's different and I think it looks better the the star logo here.. it has a airplane icon type as the middle of the star and the sides as wings I guess

Honestly, most of these logo`s looks more like those hotel search websites like Trivago... And the orange one made by Liridon is straight up a copy of Thomas Cook Airlines, if an actual airline where to be using that logo they'd more than likely get sued.
Trying to get fiverr work freelance is impossible IMO. for every 1 person offering a livable wage per design there are 100 people offering a design for $15. Its ridiculous..

hi boss im fiverr seller and i have this question i've been asked to many times the question is '' will the logo you make for me be copyright protected? and when you make a logo on fiverr, doesn’t it anyway give me ownership of the logo?
When you sell them a logo design, usually you do so with the understanding that they will 100% own the design afterwards. It would then be the company's responsibility to look into copywriting/trademarking that logo

Why my eyes are hurting to see these logos I'm not saying foul about them but for 300$ !!! I think I could have done a better job. Even though I'm not getting any clients because the market is just so crowded
"The logo MUST represent what the company does". Are you sure? Because it's hardly true. That's a designer's fantasy, nothing else. It's never been true nor necessary. At most you'll be tied to represent how the company wants to be feeled like. Like our subway company here doesn't say subway at all, it says "humans" (RATP company). An apple is nothing of a tech company yet it's the biggest tech company's logo. What must be represented is very large and far beyond the technicality of it's a jet company there has to be an airplane. No, make it feel like it flies in some way perhaps yes, but that's all. Well add to the balance that a logo MUSTN'T look like the company does smth else far away than what it does.

Jetset, not as easy as it seems. I appreciate the critique, really cool. I still wonder how does a successful logo for JetSet looks like.
The rounded corners in T or J reminds me an airplane wing. Maybe thats the reason why they decided to use that resource.

Liridon28’s design is the reason clients trust very little in Fiverr designers. The copy and paste of the Thomas Cook Airlines logo is outrageous.

Just putting it out there that whilst Lridon's work was clean, in my opinion he just tweaked the old Thomas Cook logo and brand colours .

I think Symbolex was trying to make the first symbol look like an E for the entertainment in the tail fin.

I won’t pretend I’m far better designer, but I can certainly say that all of those logos are horrible, they don’t work as logos.
