Description:
Float is a cutting-edge, artificially intelligent chatbot developed to provide seamless and personalised communication experiences. It uses advanced natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to engage with users and assist them in various tasks, ranging from customer support to virtual personal assistants.
Target Audience:
Float's target audience includes businesses of all sizes, tech-savvy individuals with a user ratio of around 80:20 Male:Female and a 25-45 approx. age range. The logo should resonate with both tech enthusiasts and professionals in various industries.
Words we associate with:
* Intelligent: The logo should convey the notion of advanced intelligence and smart solutions, reflecting the chatbot's ability to understand and respond effectively to user queries.
* Trustworthy: As Float deals with sensitive information, the logo should evoke a sense of trust, reliability, and security.
* Modern: We use cutting-edge technology so our brand should represent this.

What we need:
A word-mark logo that works as an icon, or a word-mark with a logo-mark.

Asix really pops off with the presentation, I agree with you though their first one is my pick of choice.
man I would love for you and the first designer to sit down together for an hour and nail down that logo, they were on to something and you could see it!
I enjoyed the video, but my favourite was created by Softriver! I liked it so much I hired them to do my logo rebrand.
Asix first logo version is my favorite one, just one small critique is that I could have done without the dent in the O letter, just the wordmark + icon would have been perfect 👌🏻

In order to get a good logo out of AI, you need the right prompt. Smart and insightful promptcrafting requires the insight of human logo designers.
They'll be needed regardless.
Especially seeing that he definitely tried some more prompts at 13:26 and it basically gave him the winning concept from Asix in the middle there, with the more personal bubbly font and even the speech bubble incorporated into the o. Not to say, that it doesn't take some work from there, but it definitely is laid out and I'm wondering why he didn't mention it in the video :D

13:26 I know you're giving us a good feeling, with not saying we will be taken over by AI. But I can clearly see in the background, that with some prompt iteration, DALLE basicually gave you the same concept with the speech bubble and also a kind of bubbly font, which was also your favourite from Asix ;D
The icon of #1 with the Float from A6, but without the point.
Booked Asix literally May 2023, fully paid a wide range of services, said would update me but stopped replying June 2023. Had to get a refund after Fiverr tried to message him but also did not reply to Fiverr customer support.
The "cube" logo from the second guy is actually made of the letter F, broken into two pieces, one of which is the letter L. So it's a bit more than a cube.
Regarding the last two sci-fi logos, they're not visually intuitive. You say the gamer logo looks like an F, but I beg to differ. The shapes don't make much coherent sense, with the square in the middle, and I can't automatically read it as an F when looking at it. Similar feelings about the LOAT logo. It's a bit more shapely, but again it doesn't read like a letter of the logo. I can see it as a vague F if I give it a lot of grace, but it's a bit too broken down to make sense of on its own. If the text bubbles were to be tweaked to look more like an F, and they added a regular F to the text, it'd be the winner.

yeah my apologies! The camera likes to focus on my neon light logo. Not sure how to stop it from auto focusing on it

This video just baffled me because of the temporal proximity to my inquiry, yet I'm still not making any accusations. I'm sure you could provide me with some evidence that your video creation happened prior to me writing to you since such a topic is pretty obvious at times likes these. Plus I already had to adjust my thesis because of additional rejections and a deadline at the end of September. Therefore thank you for the offer but it's not necessary. 🙏 However I might get back to you when I'm starting my dissertation in the future. 😉

Louis Key's first wordmark version for 'float' 1:04 doesn't work at all imo, as it tries too hard in forcing two elements together, and imagine would look messy if all were a single colour scaled down, however LOVE the icon version 1:40, simple and works so well, and believe would've proved a better fit assisting a pure wordmark in the top right corner.
Asix's first version, wasn't that keen on... at first, but you managed to convince me otherwise, Will. The speech bubble inside the 'o' bothered me a little and though maybe could work better if the actual 'o' was a different colour perhaps, which could then double as the icon. I also agree 'either or' for the logo and wordmark.
Tiago N's first version was probably my least favourite from the group, for some reason it feel like an effort to read imo, the second logo at 11:38 works so much better reminding me of a desktop screen (the larger rectangle) and an assistant pop-up (the smaller) having two creates that great use of negative space inner lightning shape (so in my mind showing instant) reminiscent of DHL's logo, though strongly dislike having the logo start off the wordmark, as you mention reading 'LOAT' instead of 'FLOAT'. Another great vid as always, Will! 👍

IMPORTANT:
@Will - always love your videos... and I was there when A6Designs first did the App logo. That logo was INCREDIBLY INSANE!!!
HOWEVER!: This design was bad, and I honestly feel like you were biased in your review.
The "chat bubble", looked like a geo pin. The emblem had sharp edges that looked like a metallic windmill fan -or a widget spinner, whilst the typeface had a different style. These are things are you would ordinarily tear down.
You even went to praise him for mixing 2 logos - something that is ordinarily a NO-NO....And, the 2 logos had nothing to do with FLOATING or AI.
You sound overly estatic about the most simple things, and it's coming across as very biased.
If I had paid $500 and got this, I would have been pissed off. (And I don't think that's subjective.)
