I disagree with Dr Phil being so hard on the mom. This girl acted out at 16 and they were trying to control her. This girl is making excuses but wont take responsibility for her actions. Her children are in danger and don't need to be exposed to her.
I agree. Plenty of people have been spanked with a belt, even me & did not turn into a monster. I have people in my life that were actually abused. Especially one I’m thinking of. She had fingers broken over & over, starved, cigarette burns, black eyes & much more & she’s a great person & great mom. She’s just blaming others for her behavior.
I hate the double standard Dr. Phil has for men or women! If he was the abuser he’d be helping her pack her bags!!! Gosh I really hope he divorced her!!!
He needs to divorce her for the children's safety! You are a parent you have to PROTECT your children! And he himself needs therapy to heal from the abuse. She needs to learn her lesson and not be enabled.
The worst advice EVER DR. PHIL. How could you advise that man and his children to remain in that violent environment. Then, tell the man that he can be charged from leaving the children with her unsupervised. Worse advise ever.
This woman has a history of abusive behavior and anger management issues. They definitely need to get a divorce. The father should fight for full custody of his children. If she is in their lives, it needs to be supervised visitation only.
same, no hubby though, I protect innocent children and animals, and I am very broken, can't form attachments, can't trust, so far (age 44) EVERY person, maybe 1 a year until I was 30, hurt me, back-stabbed me, turned sheeple against me (which I see as a favour but still hurts). in a couple of weeks I will be 45, no children, and I lOVE children, am a teacher, and love animals, but not financially able to ever afford an apartment (to rent) that allows animals...cursed child.
She doesn't have any remorse for what's she done, the husband should file for divorce custody of children and get as far away as possible, WHO DOES SHE THINKS SHE IS,a violent, nasty ,vicious person, think about those children, they dont need a mother like her.
