His ex dumped him after 24 years of marriage. She met someone else online. Was able to get her marriage annulled so she could get remarried in the Catholic church. His ex also turned the children against their father. Moved 3 hours away and stopped meeting in the middle for pick up and drop off. Some woman are so controlling and manipulating.

My husbands family tried to say I'm awful, but it was literally because i made him happy and taught him that he didnt need to put up with their abuse. We moved across the country together, had kids, started a business and are happily married for over a decade so far. We havent spoken to his family almost the entire time we've been together and he says hes the happiest he's ever been. ❤

Yes, my mother-in-law also was a Bible thumping. You know person literally told her kids straight out. I’m not leaving you anything all of my inheritance is going to the church who does that to their children and when they did pass away sadly my mother-in-law father-in-law and my father all passed away in one year Pandemic, they left my ex and his brother nothing and because they had moved out of state their sister who lived with her forever because she had her first baby at 16 which happens I understand that and I do not blame her for helping her daughter, but she’s not anymore. She is a grown adult as our her children, I mean her youngest daughter owns her own house her own car everything they are not dependent on her anymore, but she is now entitled to everything. I mean I’m not a huge fan of my ex but I don’t think he deserves that.
Nor do my children who got basically nothing from her, my daughter wanted a two dollar notebook from Walmart to go back to school with because it had that like glitter sequins on the front that you run your hand back-and-forth on and it changes color and she wouldn’t buy it for her because then she would have to buy one for herother granddaughter so you can spend four dollars on them at Walmart when you’re both retired. Have plenty of money have no house or car payments no debt you can’t buy your two granddaughters a notebook that is what pushed me over the edge. That was the point I never spoke to them again.

I’m a Christian, but it never fails to surprise me how a lot of Christians can turn Gods word around to suit themselves and get all their own way. His mother has to dictate the rules to the very end. “Can I take my husband?” I’m not sure she is worth bothering about and when she meets her maker, I’m not sure He will want to either, just for her unchristian like behaviour. Isn’t forgiveness what our Lord preaches over everything? Giving others a chance to prove themselves. This woman has no mercy in her heart.

This is awful! My MIL hated me at first and my husband respectfully told his mother that he loved her but was going to date me no matter what. We got married in secret, but she found out. For the first year or so he would go to his moms without me if she needed help (my BIL is paralyzed)… but every time she stopped over I’d speak to her like normal. Then I started going with him to her house for holidays and such…. Now after 9 years of marriage, I speak to her more than my husband does. I don’t blame her for not liking me (I have been sober for 10 years now and she knew my past). I just had to keep truckin along, be patient and.nice, snd “prove” myself and my love and devotion to her son. This woman is not even willing to give it a chance and is only hurting herself and her family.

Mother is pushing son towards Hannah. I think her instincts about Hannah are right. Her son should not have had child without mutual commitment. He has responsibility towards his family.

I have been married for 25 years and my spouse and I abide by a rule we heard on Dr. Phil years ago. If issues arise in our families, then I deal with my family and he deals with his. It actually works out great. The son should be stepping forward and his girlfriend needs to be silent. She also needs to be silent when talking about his daughter. His daughter has a mother.
