In my opinion "as a woman" if she's that worried about her safety she's ready to whip out pepper spray in her car like that, because you know her door was probably locked, she shouldn't do anything to cause confrontation like being a potential hazzard sitting in the middle of the road, especially because a man would be more likely to confront the someone just sitting in the road either to help or tell them to move. She lives in the real world, we don't live in her world. If I'm in real danger, I have a firearm, but I'm not going to whip it out if I'm doing dumb s*it in public and get startled. I just don't do dumb s*it and I also do onto others and I would have them do onto me. Golden rule.
I used to live in USA, definitely they would sweep the board Gold, Silver and Bronze if 'Karening' was an Olympic 'indiscipline' lol. Yep though, totally gotta hand it to these Officers, it might be great laughs later [much later] for them between each other, but given these are U.S. Karens, they certainly would be winning medals, for patience events, but also [I suspect] for 'keeping a straight face whilst enduring extreme farce' ? No, it's not a typo, grinz. Greetings from Scotland, where actually, people like these would likely be greeted rapidly with the 'Glasgow Kiss' tbqh, self defence is culturally practiced without hesitation as a rule here [no guns, fortunately, that IS a silly state of affairs 'elsewhere', after all]. IF you evade the kiss, or similar friendly 'discouragement' and the Polis get their hands on you for this sort of shite, you ARE getting the gaol B&B treatment and a 'hello' from the Sheriff [equivalent to Judge or Magistrate, NOT the same as a U.S. Sheriff] and will leave with a record, often overnight
This is so true. I’m in England & this rarely happens here. I love my friends in the states & even they say that they don’t know why many people in videos such as this are off their heads, they don’t see this kind of shit in any other countries as much as in the States. It’s weird how angry people get over there in seconds! A Glasgow kiss would be very effective 😂😂😂
Poor kid at 50:10 man. She sounded so sad and she sounded so upset bro🥺 kids don’t deserve this kinda behavior from there parents because it could reflect in the future
I see the reason as being that parents do not explain certain basic facts to their children. My parents did. Maybe they don't have time anymore. #1: Ignorance of the law is no excuse. It's up to every citizen to learn the laws. You cannot get a driver's license without learning the traffic laws. Most of these start with breaking a traffic law. #2 An officer absolutely has the right to see your ID. Their name is on their shirt and they are wearing their badge, which includes their badge number. They have a right to know to whom they are speaking, especially because that 'whom' may be a criminal. If you cannot see their badge, you do have the right to ask to see it. #3 Yes, they must assume anyone they do not know could be a criminal. They are trained to think that way because, they don't know. And they'd like to go home at the end of their shift, rather than to the hospital or the morgue. #4 They have the right to ask questions if they have any reason to suspect you of either doing something wrong or carrying something illegal. They're just asking questions. Sometimes, when people are upset about a recent event in their life, they may be too upset to drive. #5 If you're in any way uncooperative, that gives them cause to be suspicious, of either driving while intoxicates/high or of having a warrant against you. THAT's why you should always cooperate and be respectful. #6 If they ask you to step out of the car, it's usually (as in that one case in the desert) because they cannot see into the car. It could also be because they want to assess your level of intoxication. And, on a busy highway, it could be they want to step away from the traffic. Many cops have been run over while writing a traffic ticket. One thing I told both my children when they were teens was, "if a cop tells you to jump, the only response to that is, 'how high?" Also, if you suspect you were wrongly arrested, that will be decided once you go back to the police station. But until then, cooperate. They're just doing their job.
@@marigeobrien I’ve only ever had good interactions with police. Honestly, one time the officer could have arrested me. My tag & license has been suspended due to a mix up that I was totally unaware of and he pulled me over at 11p at night 4 miles from the hotel I was driving with my 2 youngest kids to meet my best friend for a couple days at the beach. He said, “Ma’am, I’ve been doing this long enough that I know you REALLY didn’t know. Just have your friend come get you & pull the car into that parking lot. It’s safe & I’ll keep an eye on it. Tomorrow, go to the DMV & get everything taken care of & I’ll drop the tickets. Just do NOT drive home until you fix this!” I was sooo thankful that I hugged him twice, before my friend took us back to the hotel. Of course, I got it fixed within 24hrs, and after 3 trips to the DMV (who were also unbelievably kind & waved me over to the person helping me after the first visit, instead of me waiting in line). No one could tell me what office to bring the forms to, so I had to go to court. Everyone in the court room were people that specific officer had pulled over that month & we had time to talk before he came in. They were young & old & a mix of every race… and all of us agreed that he was really the nicest officer! He walked in & said, “If anyone has paperwork to show me, you can bring it up.” He looked at me & whispered, “Do you have everything?” and I held up a stack of forms and he said, “Great! You’ll have to see the judge at the end, but I’ll talk to him before court begins. It’s ok.” And then he dismissed all the minor tickets that were ‘easy fixes’, before court started, and then he went to talk to the judge. I was the last defendant, because my case was actually the worst. When the judge called me up, he asked the officer, “Is this the one you mentioned?” and the officer confirmed. The judge asked, “You’ve never been in trouble a day in your life, have you?” I said “No, Sir!” and he asked if I had everything fixed and I held up the forms & said, “Yes, Sir! Within 24hrs!” And he looked at my stack of papers and said, “Ok… You are free to go!” They totally dropped over $1,200 in tickets, just like that. And yes, I taught my children the same thing. When my boys were little, they LOVED cops and would run up to talk to them and ask them a dozen questions, when we saw one in public.😂

All the people who say they are calling their lawyer - All lawyers will say cooperate with the cops and we'll figure it out. Lawyers have no power to change the situation at the scene. Like "calling MY LAWYER" is so funny. LOL
They’ve seen the “I need to have my lawyer present” trope so much, yet never fully understood the context in which it’s used. They just assume “trouble with the law” = “I don’t need to comply with any lawful quests without my lawyer”
If she would've said she's calling dispatch, that's one thing; there was some cases a time ago where traffickers were pretending to be police officers, and used that to pull people over on lonely backroads, then kidnap them. Calling dispatch to confirm it is an actual officer pulling you over is usually something cops are okay with, due to those cases. But you should communicate that clearly very early instead of messing around and not explaining yourself like she was doing (not to mention she claimed to be calling her lawyer, which is stupid at that stage)
Even though she HAD a previous license, and was cited because it was expired. Why would she even get a license she didn't need? lol ..But she said she wouldn't lie, so...
I felt my heart shatter when the daughter was crying and asking about what was happening. I'll never understand how parents can and would put their children in danger like this.
I think they should get a bonus if they handle a situation like this very well Because I would incentivize officers to do the right thing And they’ll get paid more for dealing with ridiculous people And with body cam footage, you can prove if you were ridiculous, or the officer was, and if the officer was ridiculous, they get paid less if you are ridiculous, the officer gets paid more Their pay should be directly determined, based on what they deal with Like if it’s a slow day and they don’t really deal with any erotic calls in every single person to deal with his generally polite did you get a normal pay? But if the entire day was nothing but crazy that you get double pay But if they handle those crazies improperly, they should be investigated in determining how badly they fucked up is determining on how long they don’t get paid for Because if we pay officers if they do a good job and don’t pay them when they do a bad job, there were literally be less police corruption, and more good officers because they’ll be incentivized to do a good job
@@HelfirehydratransThey're already paid to do their job. The problem is they're not held accountable when they do a bad job. We shouldn't have to bribe them to do their job. Are you paid extra for doing the job you're already paid to do? People do their jobs properly bc they're disciplined or fired when they don't. We don't need to coddle the cops more than we already do. They're adults. Every job has good and bad. No one forces them to be cops. They chose their job.
no, you are not lol. They CAN arrest you but pretty good chance they are violating your 4th amendment rights just after they violated your 1st amendment rights. You need to be charged with a crime before they can put you in handcuffs and being "Suspicious" is not a crime. making up crimes AFTER they force themselves on you, after not accusing of an initial crime, means, you were never under arrest in the first place and pretty good chance you are going to be walking away with some money after you sue them. However, if they try and arrest you without telling you of a crime you are being accused of, then you have all the rights in the world to defend yourself from a tyrant and a court will see it that way.
If a cop ever pulled me over, I would never insult him, never do anything, and be respectful. Even if they arrested me, I would say ok. And get out of the f*ing vehicle lol.

Half of these arrests wouldn’t have occurred if the subjects just LISTENED! The mentality of “I don’t need to listen to cops!” Is an epidemic.
And it will continue for a long time, right now kids are being raised with that attitude.
its so contagous soon we'll propably need to wear a mask
No offencebut i ain't readin allat@@marigeobrien

I actually agree. I’m not a huge fan of Police, but I would never want to be one because I couldn’t put up with all this nonsense.
I think they should get a bonus if they handle a situation like this very well
Because I would incentivize officers to do the right thing
And they’ll get paid more for dealing with ridiculous people
And with body cam footage, you can prove if you were ridiculous, or the officer was, and if the officer was ridiculous, they get paid less if you are ridiculous, the officer gets paid more
Their pay should be directly determined, based on what they deal with
Like if it’s a slow day and they don’t really deal with any erotic calls in every single person to deal with his generally polite did you get a normal pay?
But if the entire day was nothing but crazy that you get double pay
But if they handle those crazies improperly, they should be investigated in determining how badly they fucked up is determining on how long they don’t get paid for
Because if we pay officers if they do a good job and don’t pay them when they do a bad job, there were literally be less police corruption, and more good officers because they’ll be incentivized to do a good job
Agree. I’m a nurse and have seen some weird shit but nothing at all like what these poor police officers go Thru.
