RBDLab addon destruction simulation workflow:
1. Prepare the model for destruction (make sure meshes are manifold)
2. Separate the meshes into meaningful collections
3. RBDLab N-panel linear workflow
4. Scene preparation and Rendering
This project is aimed at developing fairly advanced destruction workflow using Blender, RBDLab addon and Davinci Resolve.
Stay tuned for more RBDLab simulations and tutorials.

Hello, I'm Russian and I don't understand English. But we have Yandex, which translates the video in real time, so I understand everything))) Thank you very much, your channel has become a real find! It's hard to find really useful videos on TH-cam. All the best to you😊
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm really glad my videos are helpful. Stay tuned for more animations and tutorials.
Thank you SO much for this tutorial series! There were so many issues I was having that were invisible!
Issues:
. Deleting Collections with RBD Labs caused ghost rigid bodies to make my stuff insta-explode. (Something I found out a bit later)
. Separating disconnected static meshes IS SO IMPORTANT to make sure knocking on 1 part of the building doesn't destroy the whole thing. (For example some heavy objects falling through a fire escape wouldn't destroy the whole thing in 1 hit before it reaches the bottom)
. NONMANIFOLDS (I didn't even know this was a thing and kept correcting awful fracturing as best as I could. NOW I understand it's literally because of this. Thank you again for showing multiple workflows on how to fix them with the 3d Printer tool)
. Following this tutorial and doing things correctly led to massive performance gains using RBD Labs!
I was stuck for a long time, ever since I got RBD Labs, on these things killing my progress and I couldn't find out why.
You're welcome! I'm glad you found it very useful in your RBDLab progress. Thank you and stay tuned.
Thanks alot! Looks great awsome tutorial!
You're welcome. Glad it was helpful. Stay tuned for more.
This is a fantastic tutorial, especially the building prep. Something weird in my project though, in 4.1. What happens on your screen when you press Auto Smooth is the opposite of what happens on mine; de-selected makes the chunks flat while Auto Smooth makes them stick out. No biggie, doesn't seem to affect anything if I leave it off...just curious if anyone knew why that is.
Please ensure you are using RBDLab v1.5.5 for Blender 4.1
@@blendercinematic I just noticed I have 1.5.4
Hello, I have an issue with fixing bad chunks. my original model has a UV with a texture and there is no problem when I just fracture it, but fixing bad chunks just completely ruins the UV and the texture looks awful
Hi, you can join RBDLab studio discord server where we routinely discuss such issues and more. Alternatively, you can also contact me through email or discord and I can look into this a bit more.
