Thank you for this info. Went through all the possibilities and eventually found that particular brand of SD card was the culprit. Well done with your instructions!
Thank you, sir! I had a problem with a mini SD. An error message popped up on my car dash cam saying that the memory was full. This was a surprise because the dash cam erases the old data for the new. When I checked the SD on my laptop, I noticed that the name of the card changed to weird symbols, and I couldn't access the recorded videos on it. Eventually, the simplest formatting helped! Interesting fact: the system wouldn't let me format it because of the strange symbols, so I changed the name of the card to something simple.
Amazing! My Micro SD card wouldn't work on my camera. My WINDOWS 11 GAMING PC couldn't fix it. Thank god my Windows 7 laptop fixed it. Turns out. Windows told me that there were A TON of problems with the card's file system. Fixed it, now it's working.

If you have a non compatible SD-card due to its size, as I had, there are ways to downsize the SD card through your computer. There are vids on youtube to help you with this. (9:05) Ur counters, the sink n oven r too clean, no clutters. U must only eat out in restaurants? Yes, none of ur 10 methods worked on my Canon A550 PowerShot w Sandisk Ultra 100MB/sec, 64GByte SD card. It just kept on showing "Memory Card Error". All of ur 10 methods didn't work. Swap and try w another camera method confirmed that my Canon A550 doesn't like the hi capacity SD card as i'd suspected bc. this Canon model is issued like 15 yrs ago. Re-Formating via the A550 n same w my PC failed w the same error msg. No, my comprehensive manual that i had to buy separately didn't whow the memory limit amount. Found it works w 16GB n 32GB SD cards so dat's it. The bigger 64GB card will b used for my Digital SLR big camera only. And yes, the 2nd new identical 64GB card behaved the same way for both cameras. I liked the A550 vs. the Panasonic Lumix bc. the former is more compact, can stick it in my shirt pkt, fits my men's small handbag, EZr to operate. And, i can use the standard AA batts(2) vs. specialized more expensive Panasonic proprietary re-chargable battery. But the AA must be Li-Ion Energizer to shoot 100+ shots vs. 32 shots for Alkaline batts. Hope my above findings help this audiences too. N, thx 4 ur video making. Subscribed n thumbs upped. PS: If a card gets full, it won't work. It'll just say: == Memory Card Full Full of what?

Well figured out I can’t be the sd card and got scammed on a “tested” camera, sad day.
thankyou
I have my photo and video on my SD Card. It's showing this single file ... USBCá┴╗ not able to access the my data.
Are you trying to access it on your camera, or some other device?
My FORMAT option isn't even working! It all started with a memory card error. So I bought a new memory card. Same thing - Memory Card error. Now my FORMAT option has croaked. How do I fix the FORMAT option?
Same for me 😢I also tried to put the memory card in my pc and it didnt show up so maybe it's a problem with a memory card for me but I don't know what to do
Windows was unable to complete the format . The drive is not accessible , so no solution here.
It might be time for a new SD card then. 🙂
@@photographersfreedomchanging the SD card didn't work 😅
@@kevydjegnan3393 then you know the camera is the problem. 🙂
@@photographersfreedomI don’t have money to buy a new one
@paitynmenzies4652 I feel your pain. 🙁
My camera won’t delete what do I do😢😢😢
@@daisylenedelacruz7071 format the card. That deletes everything.
Sir my card is showing this on my SD Card: USBCá┴╗ what to do ? do you have any solution to resolve this problem...
I have never seen an error like that before.
number 4 on top
It says 'Card connot ve acessed😢
Ok
cool merci pour moi c'est la premier erreur carte lock lol
Checking the card for errors and allowing Windows to repair resulted in loss of all files.
That shouldn't happen. Did you get a prompt warning about the loss of files before the error fixing?
Nope
none of these worked, but i can still access the card on my laptop so i guess the card is not the problem?
Did you fix it
(9:05) Ur counters, the sink n oven r too clean, no clutters. U must only
eat out in restaurants?
Yes, none of ur 10 methods worked on my Canon A550 PowerShot w
Sandisk Ultra 100MB/sec, 64GByte SD card. It just kept on showing
"Memory Card Error".
All of ur 10 methods didn't work. Swap and try w another camera method
confirmed that my Canon A550 doesn't like the hi capacity SD card as i'd
suspected bc. this Canon model is issued like 15 yrs ago.
Re-Formating via the A550 n same w my PC failed w the same error msg.
No, my comprehensive manual that i had to buy separately didn't whow
the memory limit amount.
Found it works w 16GB n 32GB SD cards so dat's it. The bigger 64GB
card will b used for my Digital SLR big camera only. And yes, the 2nd
new identical 64GB card behaved the same way for both cameras.
I liked the A550 vs. the Panasonic Lumix bc. the former is more compact,
can stick it in my shirt pkt, fits my men's small handbag, EZr to operate.
And, i can use the standard AA batts(2) vs. specialized more expensive
Panasonic proprietary re-chargable battery. But the AA must be Li-Ion
Energizer to shoot 100+ shots vs. 32 shots for Alkaline batts.
Hope my above findings help this audiences too.
N, thx 4 ur video making. Subscribed n thumbs upped.
PS: If a card gets full, it won't work. It'll just say:
==
Memory Card Full
Full of what?
@schutendohkji548 nah. Just good old-fashioned cleaning. 😉
@@photographersfreedom U must b a gd cook too. Thx 4 posting n responce
My SanDisk Extreme 256GB SDXC UHS-I Class-10 just became super slow! And that's so bad and annoying!
you forgot one solution, fix 12 what if every SD card you use, bring up the same error message on the canon camera, they all work on another camera but not this one camera? What is the solution? throw out the camera?
I included a solution for this it's #9. Check your manual. You are obviously trying to use a card that is incompatible with your Canon camera. 🙂
Sorry, no, i am having the same problem. The cards are definitely compatible, I have used them over and over before. I have travelled with the camera, it is now reporting endless error messages and won't let you get to the menu to format the card. Same error messages over and over. Not the cards definitely the camera. Is it possible to reset the camera??
@@SeeChelleFilm there may be a way to reset the camera to factory settings. Check the camera manual. Otherwise, I suggest getting a qualified technician to look at your camera.
ive tried all of them and i did buy a new card but it still doesnt work
It might be your camera that is the problem then, unfortunately. Get it looked at by a camera repair shop.
