PID for PC: ctrl, alt delete, task manager, data tab and the PID number is there. PC quick copy for adobe products is ALT ;-)
It didn't work in my PC. It says kill not recognized. :(
@@crismatus8407 that is strange. Are you referring to the ctsl, alt delete to bring up the task manager or using the alt button for the hot keys like atl and scrolling on your mouse will make it zoom in and out.
How bout key for Select All in windows keyboard?
That will get you the PID. To kill a task the command is taskkill -pid and the PID number. Theres a /F switch to force the kill but it would likely also kill the save prompt.
Select All should be Ctrl + A @@ardoiders

These types of tutorial videos are only good and informative when the person making it is cool, entertaining, engaging, etc. Which is why this is probably my FAVORITE tutorial. Thanks man!!! You're gonna be the reason I am able to sharpen my skills. I am brand spankin new to editing. But watching this gave me a lot more confidence in my ability to get better.
I love how the song that was in the title cards was teased throughout the whole video then finally played at the end.

Hi Peter, I love your tutorials. They're so in-depth but make so much sense. I've been battling with trying to understand the different codecs and methods of exporting using Premiere Pro and I'd love it if you did a tutorial on the differences and how you export your clips to maintain quality but not make them 1TB! LOVE the editing with proxies tip. Can't tell you how many times my timeline starts to freeze because my computer can't handle the video footage with all the edits placed on it.
Anyone on a pc can use the Ctrl key when he says Command key.

Waaaaaay late to this video, BUT: would you ever go over your Premier Pro export settings? They made a world of difference for my final results, but I know that they could always be better. Maybe a stand-alone 2 minute Tuesday or a refresh of this tutorial with some new tips? Thanks!

editing vlogs can be a pain. tip number 6 is life saver!!!!! i always find my self putting in intro clips and trying to highlight my whole timeline!

Personally when color grading, I would put an adjustment layer on top of the clip and just drag it across the timeline where I want it.

This is great stuff. I've been editing in FCPX since it's release and am really fast and know all kinds of little tips and tricks that make editing better and faster. I just got a new job where I have to use premiere pro and some of these tips REALLY help specifically since I'm used to the magnetic timeline and my clips all shifting together. I had no idea a similar thing was possible in Premiere without selecting and moving everything down manually. Thanks!
