    I appreciate how he begins with clip organization. Not one tutorial I've seen so far even mentions how to sort clips. Love it. Off to use bins!

    Finally, someone who knows how to teach, get on the beginner's level and make things understandable. I had gotten so frustrated simply trying to find videos where the person not only explained what to do, but also HOW to do it. I learned more from this video than I had from all the tutorials (which suck) and other videos I've watched. I think sometimes that people get so advanced that they forget what it's like to be a beginner with no frame of reference regarding an app. I really appreciate this kind of teaching. Thanks so much!

    I want to say that I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro for around 5 years. It has become more stable and better through the versions. I also have DaVinci Studio, but it goes the other way. Very strange bugs. The more I learn about how Premiere works, the more fun I have. Have probably created over 300 films so far and have no plans to stop.

    Hey man! Thanks for another very informative video that has been very helpful. However, I have a few questions about adobe premiere pro that I hope you could help me out with.
    1. What video sequence should I use if i am importing clips shot in 4K and 1080 into the software to make one video?
    2. When I set the documents as my saving place, my project is all messed up when I return to continue working on it the next day. What should I do to fix that?
    3. I exported a practice video i made and it only exported part of the video. Was wondering if you might know how that happened?
    Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated man! Thanks for your time!

    • @colorgradingcentral
      @colorgradingcentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should set it at the resolution you are delivering to. Having the 4K will allow you to scale and preserve resolution. If you want to upscale the HD to 4K, I would look into AI solutions from topaz.

    • @colorgradingcentral
      @colorgradingcentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your second question falls under media management. You just need to make sure that your project file and all the video assets are kept in the same location if you move things around you’ll have to re-link the files because the project file won’t remember the directories where the files originally were, etc.

    • @colorgradingcentral
      @colorgradingcentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can set In-N-Out points for the extent to which you are exporting your timeline. Just make sure that in and out points in encompasses the entire sequence, so that you are exporting the whole video.

    Great job for an overview. I think the frame rate you wanted is 29.97 and you selected 26.97. Final cut is my usual editor and when I need to work in Pr I like a quick, basics refresher and this helps a lot. To increase or optimize the bit rate (for color profiles 8 is basic- good) you didn't increase the slider to 16 which is better for your render. I wondered about that? Maybe you wanted to keep the file small. I did think you covered the front panel for the "lay of the land" since you started with organizing and uploading files. Which is really key for a bunch of reasons as you noted, but also keeping track of the materials used for each project, within the project. I'm pretty sure you can "reset essentials" if you need to get the panels back to where they were. Thanks. I've watched a few other videos on this topic and yours is the best.

    Hey man! I am new to premiere pro and I shoot my footage using gopros in 1080 60fps. I use the 60fps because it makes a smoother video with the cam on my head when looking different directions. Problem I’m having is when I change everything to 23.976fps (like it seems everyone says to do) in adobe, the footage becomes blurry looking when the camera moves around. I was wondering if there was a way I can fix this? Or a setting I could use for my film in 60fps?
    Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
