- Hi everyone! Here is a kitbashing and sculpting tutorial about how I converted the Terminator Captain from the new Leviathan set into a Space Wolf. I used some spare parts from the Space Wolves Dreadnought, Terminators, and Wulfen sets, along with Kneadatite "Green Stuff" epoxy putty.
Please check out my channel for other tutorials and videos. Thanks for watching!

Excellent work ! I'm a space wolf player and you are right about the marines. Not very wolfy. This guy is very very wolfy ! Great job.
Thank you!
This is genuinely incredible, Im so glad I randomly found your channel!!
Thank you and welcome!
this is amazing! I was watching, watching, then boom! An incredible finished product appeared before I even realized what was happening!
Thank you!
This video is so calming
Thanks for watching!
My man! That’s some fantastic sculpting! Can’t wait to see him painted.
Thank you!
You gave me a lot of inspiration for my new terminators thanks
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Nicely done, I liked the idea with the runes to slice the top off after they were cured, clever!
Thanks! Makes the lettering nice and crisp!
yeah, nice one
Thank you, I have studied how to sculpt some fur for my Space Wolves!
Thanks! Good luck!
great channel, if someone sees this, i recommend this!
Thanks for watching!
The Blizzard Shield from the old Dreadnought is a great fit too
Good call!
That would make for one sick 13th Company Wolf Lord (that was the company that followed Leman Russ into the eye of terror. They also had lots of Wulfen in their ranks). The scheme would be the horus heresy era grey, bronze and red.
I really like the sound of this... might have to go that route! Thank you!
Masterfully done. I was watching this thinking.. This guy is good enough to just sculpt an entire figure form scratch.
Thanks! I've done a couple of those, it's a lot of work!
Great work Matt. As a Space Wolves player, seeing stuff like this makes me very happy.
Thank you! It makes me happy to share it.
I hope one day to be half as good at sculpting and kit bashing as you
You can do it! I believe in you. Keep on practicing and you'll get there. Good luck!
Amazing dude. That claw is ace 🤘🤘
Thank you!
this was genuinely entertaining to watch also go space wolfs!
Thanks!
great video! you are definitely multitalented. thank you
Thank you!
really nice greenstuff work!
thank you!
Love the extra thick Dread torso, makes him look very strong and barrel chested 🔥
Thanks! He eats his Wheaties for breakfast.
Great vid. Its so rare YT recommends stuff I genuinely enjoy!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Really love kitbashing videos, but your techniques are so on point, I hope you make more and show us more of your Space Wolves!
Thanks and I'll do some more!
Top notch sculpting
thank you!
Yeah loved this, really great. I can never seem to get such clean greenstuff results but that was helpful. and he looks amazing.
Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful. Green stuff has to be one of the most difficult mediums to work with, and it took me a long time to get comfortable with it. Keep on practicing, and good luck!
Totally awesome, would love seeing him get painted
Thank you! I'll paint/film it over the next couple weeks
Nice sculpting!
Amazing work! Looking forward to seeing the finished painted model!
Thanks!
Great sculpting trix! Love it!
thanks!
Very impressive! Great work!
Thank you!
@@MattsHobbyHour I'd love to see the end result, no pressure! Well, some pressure...😊
man this kitbash was amazing, gave some great ideas for my lysander kitbash and i loved the use of dreadnought armour for the chest
Thank you! Glad you got some good ideas out of it.
@@MattsHobbyHour loved the sculpt work too man, great vid
Awesome conversion, your sculpting is really good !
Thank you!
Nice video Matt! Space Wolves are such a fun army and these kit bash/sculpting tips will help with my next project!
Thanks Mike! Glad you found it helpful. Good luck!
Awesome job, really makes me wanna try something like this myself.
Thanks! You should give it a shot
absolutely awesome! Subscribed!
Thank you!
looks epic!
Thanks!
Great job 🤠
Thanks!
Great video again Matt. More sculpting please!
Thanks! Will do!
Bro this is so nice goodwork dude
Thank you!
Fenrys Hjolda, Matt!
god damn that is beautiful
Really great skills, Matt! This Wolf Lord has some style. Maybe a little chunky with this dreadnought chest, but it's very impressive to even fit a vehicle part in an infantry model properly.
Would love to see him painted in the next video.
Thank you!
Great video. Now three months later, I can hear him shouting from the shelf... Winter is coming, Paint me!
Thanks! Yes he really is calling for paint now. I had to invest in ear plugs
Well done. Looks like a GW mini
Thank you!
Totally bad ass!
thank you!
Cheers!
This Space Wolf is definitely the mutt's nuts.
so cool when you goin to paint him want to see how cool he looks
thanks! Hoping to paint him soon!
Hi Matt, i really like how descriptive you are with the explanations, and how well filmed it is. The only real critique i have is the whitenoise was rather distracting, i would look into ways of removing the whitenoise via software
Thanks! I will look in to that. Still very new to the setup. Hopefully I can solve it by the next video.
mann thats some skill =D i cant even make letters on a paper seem even XD
Just the fruits of lots of practice, you can get there! Thanks for watching
Better primaris Space Wolf than the ones gw made, damn
Great video man! Wonderful work and Eli really enjoyed the chill vibes. Is he painted? …video idea? Would love to see him finished. I’m just about to start some wolves in artic camouflage and this was inspiring.
Thanks! I haven't painted it yet but I plan to some time soon! I'll be sure to film the process
I can see him at the head of a large company of wolfspears.
Do you have a tutorial on painting him? I have the set of grey studios for space wolves and want to paint them on a nasty space viking wolve style
I haven't been able to paint him yet but I hope to get around to it soon!
I've heard that some sculptors let the greenstuff set for 10-15 minutes before they start using it. Do you recommend doing that or do you prefer to start with it immediately?
Some people do, they say it helps keep it from sticking to their tools. Personally I start using it right away. I think it sticks to the model better, especially on tiny details. Just have to make sure it doesn't stick to your tools as well. So use water/lotion/vaseline. Thanks for watching!
sweet! go grim dark space wolf
you don't want to see a nice powder blue 2nd ed space wolf? ;)
@@MattsHobbyHour I wouldn't mind either; but I've seen that one. I'd like to see your version of grimdank with oils and enamels etc
You should paint it at the end of the video
I'll be painting it for a future video some time soon, thanks for watching!
@@MattsHobbyHour awesome!
whats with the double lightning bolt runes on the bolter lol
The word "Russ" according to the space wolves codex. The S rune is a little angled. Thanks for watching!
yeah it looks a bit too familiar, from a certain hate group
@@scalenetriangles2520 yeah that is a good point. I'll change them. Thanks for making me aware
@@MattsHobbyHour yeah it's kind of unfortunate that it's the case, but in a hobby like this you always have to be careful about that sort of thing. There are some losers out there that would put those symbols on their models on purpose! (Good conversion by the way!)
@@scalenetriangles2520 yeah you're right. I just carved off those runes and resculpted them. Thanks!
