- Sasha Waybright was confirmed as Bi, so I thought I'd make this video! I know I missed some, and some I just.. didn't want to download a 30 minute video file to get footage for 30 seconds. But I'm open to suggestions for a possible part two!

something im noticing is the lack of bisexual dudes. as a bi dude theres a weird stigma around us that really bothers me. like im glad to see bi rep but its still annoying that we arent included in it. i think its because wlw has become a very romanticized thing where as mlm is still considered "weird" or "feminine" (which is obviously due to toxic masculinity).

Tbf, some of these shows come from queer women such Rebecca Sugar and Dana Terrace, so I think it’s kind of natural for them to go for queer female characters as opposed to queer male characters since those are easier and more appealing to write for them as they relate and reflect through them as queer women themselves.
At the same time, that doesn’t make the lack bi and maybe queer male characters in general excusable. It’s good and necessary to have them too. So I am hoping we see more queer and bi male characters in shows. Maybe we’ll hopefully get some queer males heading shows too :>
@@Mythic_FireI'm pretty sure Sugar would have more openly MLM relationships if she could, but she had to fight really hard just to have "kinda sorta" lesbian rocks be allowed lol. Male gay characters, especially ones that aren't just background dads, are a really hard sell for networks and children's tv shows. It's seen as inherently sexual in nature, even though that would mean both straight and lesbian romances are as well.

I am so glad that my girl Sasha is confirmed to be somewhat into girls. Though not in a too forced way and done in a small settled way.
But even though the show never confirms her dating either Anne or Marcy, it's really great to see what we got to tell use Sasha is bi and personally one of the better ways to introduce LGBT characters in shows for kids.

They don't have to be shown being romantically or sexually involved with men and women, it's just the creator's OCs, and they can be bi if they want them to.

Yeah, also some extra information, Alex Hirsch said that Wendy was bi, but because he was no longer working on the show, it’s not technically canon (but might as well be and is to me). Also when Wendy was listing her ex’s she was going to list a girl, but Disney censored it

Honestly, it's mostly cause of her power, it comes from her legs. If you watch the show you can find a pattern in characters of wherever their power is used, the body part is usually thick you could say. Like K.O, his power is in his Arms so that's a reason why his arms are so beefy lmao

@@buddersib_ well on TDI its very clear that hes possibly gay. they make many jokes about it. but the thing is its not just a one-off thing. they make it a somewhat consistant trait of his. they dont allude to it very much in the later seasons but its still there, especially with Alejandro. possibly Noah too but i think thats just good friendship. He obviously had a relationship with Izzy who he cared deeply for so that means hes not gay. they havent outright said it in the show but im almost positive hes bisexual

I’m not sure how to feel about it, I don’t it’s *bad* and I don’t think MLP:FIM is biphobic in anyway for doing this (Sunset Shimmer is right there) but I still don’t know how to feel about King Sombra being bi…
I think it’s the fact that that they confirmed a minor-ish villain character to bi that bugs me. And honestly even the fact that he’s a villain doesn’t even bother me that much…just more the fact that he’s a minor character which most people could forget about plus we never once see him being romantically interested in anyone is a little frustrating. And I’m not frustrated at writers, let’s be honest here the restrictions against showing LGBTQ+ ships is still pretty tight even to today, I can’t imagine what would happen if they tried to confirm outright that he was bi back when the show was originally airing, so my frustration isn’t with the writers it’s just more with the fact that it at least feels the only way they could confirm he’s bi is through an outside confirmation.
At least for Sunset you COULD make the argument they were trying to do imply she was queer in some way with her relationship with Twilight…but it still sucks we couldn’t any confirmation from the show about these two characters…
