Mr. Lee, can you please teach us how to play the themesong from the movie called Dying Young (1991)? I believe the name of that song is called 'I'll Never Leave You'. That song just nags at the heart, and makes you feel downright VERY SAD inside... Please, can you teach us how to play it? 😥
Broooo, I recently fulfilled my childhood dream and bought a digital piano that I couldn't afford in the past. I bought some books from which I successively learn new things every day but your yt channel is my discovery this year. I thank you for what you do and wish you all the best in both your online creativity and personal life.
Me too, I'm 52! My chilhood dream came true this weekend, I wish I learn as much as I can listening to this inspireing lessons. Thank's a lot 😊 @Latinify good luck to You too🤗
@@KariAkin-v2x Any instrument, start with the scales. First major scales, then minor scales. Keep practicing the scales until you can play them fluently. Once you have mastered the scales, you can play any tune of your own. I began by practicing chords, and even after several years I couldn't play a single song of my own. Just go for the scales.
I can't believe I actually sound good playing this because it's so beautiful! Thanks! Your hands really move so smooth like a ballerina dancing. Very cool to watch.
I just started playing piano last month after wanting to learn since I was 6! (Now I’m 27). I really appreciate these warm up videos with different levels, thank you!
@@itsavanah ... keep it light and fun ... that way you will want to fit it in. I created a bit of a rule that I'd play for 10 minutes before leaving for work. ....sometimes I'm late for work!!! Also I put post it notes on the bit I want to focus on the next time. That means I don't sit down and wonder "what shall I do?". Instead I've already highlighted what I want to focus on. Again baby steps but also keep looking back at where you started. We quickly forget what we've achieved.
I’m new to lessons, been practicing piano by youtube for almost a year now (didn’t help with anything, only memorizing what I see) the theory makes sense of everything. Last night I was playing at my restaurant and the pianist was listening and could tell that I didn’t understand chords, but after about 10 mins of talking a light bulb went off in my head, I’m seeing the piano differently now, I understand it more. I love the piano.
Thank you Jazer for your lessons! After playing guitar for over 15 years (i’m 28) i decided to spice things up a little and buy a piano. The only thing i wish for now is that i discovered this 10 years ago. What an amazing instrument! To all my fellow musicians out there. Have a fantastic day and keep practicing!
I am so so grateful to have come across your channel & all your piano teachings. I'm about to buy a digital piano and I really can't wait to get started with your beginners exercises. Thank you so much for all your wonderful musical knowledge.
I am 44 years old started learning last year and always wanted to as a child. When I practice I relieve stress from work. I can’t wait to be able to play songs in my church
I would just like to say thank you. I have been looking for exercises that are fairly easy but pleasing to the ear to get me started and motivated to continue. These do the job perfectly.
Oh my gosh!! I just found your channel and am hooked. Been playing for a year but have gotten stuck. You’re lessons a have inspired me again! Thank you so much!!
This is so beautiful, and looks easy for a beginner to learn, hope I can keep up with the fast pace. I just got my first piano 1 month ago. Thank you for taking the time to teach online, I know that is very time consuming for you, and many of us cannot afford to take expensive in person piano lessons.
I have a totally different 'feel' for the piano since I discovered your TH-cam tutorials and ideas. Amazing. It's many years since I first learnt and now it's like I've discovered a new instrument! I can never thank you enough for your insightful and easy to understand method of teaching.
Clear, succinct and to the point! thank you for a great and beautiful set of warm up exercises. Now comes the hard part (for me anyway). Thanks again and please keep it up (I know I will).
Thanks for this great tutorial, it's always good when one of your posts comes in. After one of your earlier posts I am working hard on not looking at the keyboard. Level 5 is great for hand positioning, try doing it without looking!
Beautiful! I will add this to my warm-ups. Thank you for all of your upbeat tutorials. PS: I love to practice, if I didn't I would take up something else.
Hi Jazer, your piano tutorial is so beautiful. If I have a chance to be your student, I will make a significant improvement. I watch you videos and your instructions just clearly explain every steps for beginner piano player like myself. Thanks for your instructions.
Maestro Jazer: do you want to talk with me?....it would be an honor if this is true. In that case, please tell me when and I could send you a Zoom link. Please take into account that I am in Canary Island and we have 8 hrs. difference with Australia. Un abrazo desde La Palma.
Hey Lee! you distroied my right hand in step 3 :)))) I have the piano 2 weeks for now and I start practice with 2 hands but from lvl 3-4-5 my right hand was so spreaded :)))))) Thank you for the video, was a great exercice for tonight :D
Ahhhh please save yourself and delete that app. Watch more instructive videos like this and plenty of other videos from pianists who care about helping you play better quality music the right way. All that app will do for you is take from your wallet over and over. Wish you the best.
This sounds soooo beautiful! It is easy but my hands cannot keep up with the speed even in this piece😄 so I made a youtube video of it adding some other instruments but half the speed so if ever you will bump into it later (haven't uploaded yet), you will definitely fall asleep! 😂 Thank you Jazer for all these easy tutorials! God bless you more!
Although I studies piano for ~16 years, I really enjoyed this exercise. It's helped me understand hords better. For fun I tried the same exercise using D major, F#, B minor, and G major.
Thank you soooooo much for this. It was incredibly efficient and pleasant and after level 4, I totally surprised myself by adding some notes with my right hand, creating some variations... It was an amazing moment, thank you again ❤
@jazerleepiano Thank you for making good on your promise. I was actually excited to try this warm-up. I love that it's not boring! I like being tricked into discipline 😂. Good job, Jazzer. I'll be doing this daily.

Excellent! So glad I found your site. At 81, with no piano knowledge, I just bought a 61-note keyboard for around $200 and I'm lovin' it.
I am glad you find my videos helpful!
Thanks Jazer Lee for your very informative and helpful video on the warm up exercises for beginners. I found them amazing and enjoyed playing them
How can these very simple notes make such a beautiful piece of music? This is VERY beautiful!
Harmony.
I've been searching around for peaceful sounding arpeggios. This is perfect.

Your joy here was contagious, had a blast with this one!
I wish all the teachers in my life had had your educational talent... I'd be ruling yhe world today!
Do this exercise but replace last half bar with a minor for additional variation
Then you can swap keys as well
Great exercise
You can also do the same progression but each hand does the whole pattern
Thank you so much! I'm joining a band with friends and need to learn how to properly play before joining!
