Gilbert, your mom is one of the greatest moms out there without a doubt. She works all day, comes home to have to cook and clean and does it in a way that you can’t tell she is cleaning and cooking with frustration. She is awesome! And you are very berry lucky to have a mom like her. She is a 💎 gem. Take good care of her and love her like no tomorrow.
The day of the earthquake I was ver close to Gilbert, I was incarcerated in the little detention center on the side of freeway 14 in Temecula, I was trying to get here and make a better life for myself, I was little younger than Gilbert, during the earthquake I was being booked and the border patrol agent was laughing and yelling at me saying is that why you want to be here, I could see the rocks falling from the hill across the freeway. I’m over 45 now and when I pass by there reminds me the struggles to find better life, and the same little detention center still there.
Frances Larsen, you bet, I am an American citizen, home owner since 1997, I got 3 kids, my oldest one just turned 20 and her third year in college, my son 18 starts collage this year and my little one only 14 started high school, would not change anything, not even the struggles or the slap in the face I got from a Border Patrol screaming in my face and calling me all dirty names, his las name was Blanco, I remember his face ‘till this day, not because I hate him but because I learned that day it was not going to be easy and his face comes up every time I go through tuff times, 29 years of working hard to provide better opportunities to my kids. I still go back and see the place I was in jail during the earthquake, still there next to the I-14 close to Temecula California. Thank God for helping get here in one piece. God Bless America.
@@gordisbully9377 Good for you. My dad has a similar story as yours. All his 3 children myself included worked really really hard and graduated from NYU, Stanford and USF. However, my Dad is hellbent on squandering away his life. He’s an alcoholic and I haven’t spoken to him for a few years now. He’s ruined his relationships and is negatively influencing the family. I’ve avoided getting married for years because he embarrasses me and I don’t know if any man would want the daughter of an alcoholic. He doesn’t seem to appreciate the goodness that God has blessed him with.
It's cool watching this little time capsule of American family life from 1992. By the way, I had a cat that was born in 1993 and lived until 2013, just three weeks short of what would've been his twentieth birthday.
@@whoami7721 Awwww. Luckily, you have the memories. Also, I wasn't born until 95, but I love watching how life was then. It feels like such a long time ago when it wasn't.

9 years after that joe left
Gil, I gotta admit that Joe used your mom. Free place to live without any expenses. He made it look like he owned the house straight out!!
At the end kind of was like that. that was going toward the ending of relation. but before the end, Joe did pay his share of bills and rent.
Joe did act like he was the owner of everything.. Too quick especially being the step dad.. He has to earn respect and not cross any lines.
Don't ask who Joe is
Joe for president
What happened to Joe ?
relationship got sour between him and my mom.And he left in 2001
@@fueledbymusic3 have you found any information about him since?

Are the kitters Alive
I doubt it.
I know some cats can live to late teens , but this was 27 years ago. It would be cool if their kitten's kittens were still alive tho
@Lisa Surlie a little on the long side but it isn't that uncommon for a cat to reach their 20s. Cats on average live to 16. Oldest has been 38
