  • So, I was shopping for a car! At this time. WE DID NOT have internet! So, the BASIC way we used to look for a car. Was finding them PARKED FOR SALE! Or go to the PENNYSAVER! That's how I did it then. For the case of this 1984 Mazda 626. I found this car PARKED for sale! I pull up to it and jot down the phone number! Then call when I get home on the landline!

      He knows when to talk, and when to stay silent and just film people. It's the perfect amount of both.
      I really like his filming style, and am jealous I didn't do the same thing with my camcorder back in the late 90's early 2000's when I had the chance!

    Awesome Gilbert. Thank you for sharing all of the videos you have during the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and beyond. I had a 84’ 626 and also a 88’ 626. They were great cars and my 87’ 626 was kinda a head turner back in the early 90’s. They had an awesome body shape back in the 80’s. I was gonna plan to drop my 87’ 626 and add some star rims, but that kinda changed when I got into video games and Japanese toy collecting.😂. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind buy another 80’s 626 or maybe a mid 90’s MX6 as those cars make great rare classics. Keep up the great work Gilbert!!!

What a time to be alive. Them kids in the car are prolly in their 40s or late 30s now

    As of 2018, I would rather have a Japanese-built car built in the early 1990s than most cars made today. Japanese brands from this time period were very well-built and you, as an average person, could fix most of the problems with them if you had the time, money, and knowledge. That's no longer the case due to so many modern cars being heavily dependent on the computers and programming running them. Not to mention all the costly electronics if something fails. I blame the governments (regulations) and geeks (too much programming) of the world for ruining the enjoyment of cars, in general.

    • @KeithsReviews
      @KeithsReviews 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends what Japanese cars you're talking about though. A lot of them from the late 80s to early 90s would burn oil like crazy. They improved the design of the engines greatly since that time period.
