love this game. Got stranded in a snowstorm after my rover flipped and some guy saved me lol. we then proceeded to explore the new moons and weather in his carrack, 100000/10 would definitely hear my guy shiver again
Had a similar experience with my Cutlass black randomly flipping over and landed upside down when stepping of the ramp and some stranger flew in chat over from hurston with hes 300i series and tried to lift me into my ship while i was standing on the nose/wings of hes ship. Which was a bit tricky when planet gravity points down and cutlass interior gravity points up so took several tries of him trying to get closer and me jumping from futher and futher out on the shaky wings (really not designed for people to stand on while flying) to try to get "inside" the cutlass gravity and not just fall out of the ship again. one of my oddest but also very unique gaming memories.
Shaderox Amazing. See those kind of dynamic situations just don’t happen in other games tbh, like the experiences and stories I already have from this game are incredible. And everyday something new and exciting happens. Like just yesterday I had finished some claimjumpers in my cutty, and lost a wing and engine. Flew to PO, but there was a bounty there, so I figured instead of paying to fix or crashing, I could just dogfight him instead. So we start dogfighting. I’m in half a cutty with low ammo and he’s in a fresh hornet, I was actually getting the better of him, then he starts running away, come to find out the lancer that’s been tracking him came in and stole the kill. But then I hop on the lancer, we blow up my cutty, and head back out into the stars. Best game ever, hands down.
Or when a dude let us have his 890 jump, and we proceeded to invite everyone on the server to a yacht party, and we flew around picking everyone up, nobody tried to kill anyone. Eventually it ran out of fuel, but by the end we had like 15ish players onboard. All having a good time
@@Shaderox I had something like that happen, though we failed to get into it. Someone shipjacked my 600i while I was at an outpost doing a delivery, leaving me stranded. (technically it had a spawning bay, but I couldn't get anything I owned to spawn there) Someone agreed to try and rescue me, but botched the landing by hitting a light pole, then decided to just jump out of their ship. (it was either a cutlass or freelancer. Don't quite remember) Then a third person showed up and we tried to use THEIR ship to get us into the other ship. We... Blew up this person's ship in the process, and I believe that killed me, so... That was the end of it. Funny thing is, this sequence of events then led into a party starting at that outpost where someone landed an 890 jump there, a 600i showed up (not mine, alas. Whoever took it ran quite far with it.), and about a half dozen people in smaller ships. Although I didn't see the rest of it, apparently this turned into a canyon racing party... Yeah, weird stuff can happen sometimes. And to think the catalyst for this huge server-wide party that apparently went on for hours, was me getting stranded at an outpost by a shipjacker, and people gathering bit by bit, initially to rescue me, and then just... Because. XD
I have this ship in my hanger right now , i just love the design, but i would love to have a pathfinder/cargo variant, ( like a mini Carrack) change half the jump seats for a medical bed and facilities , utilize the cargo space to hold at least 60 cargo, remove half of the bunk beds and put in a kitchenette , remove the remote turrets and put in long range scanners for data scanning , bigger quantum fuel tanks . i mean the hull design is perfect and would make history as a daily driver especially with Pyro coming.

So you can fit an additional 24 people if you use greycats... The real question is; why the hell is the valk so expensive? I mean it's $15 *more* than a C2 Herc.
By that logic, I hope the Hercules C2 doesn't get to be something stupid like $600 when it next goes on sale (since that'll likely be when it's flyable). $400 I can live with, but not nearly double the price...

The Charge If the Greycat Brigade 😉........now all we need is a Horn that plays the Signal for a Cavalry charge......😁 And the ability for the Driver to lean out and shoot his weapons, up to missile launchers and railguns. Oh and the driver needs to be able to fire His pistol at the enemy as well. The Driver needs to have the capability If exercising His second amendment rights in the face of the enemy!😉😝
i wonder if you can fit several roc inside in all other ship you have done and what ship can transport a balista i know you can't have a balista inside the cutlass black

I can't be the only one disappointed with the Valkyrie, I mean for a massive ship the size of a three story building it can only carry about a dozen guys? For a drop ship that's pretty bad, I mean look at a modern day ac130, they have four rows of seats lining the walls and middle but this just has two lining the walls. So much empty space.
Well, 5 crew, 20 troops (10 in each troop compartment) and... 24 in the vehicle bay if you assault in greycats. Probably 50+ (70 with troop compartment) comfortably standing in the cargo /vehicle bay.
An AC130 doesn't transport any troops, it's solely flying artillery. A (as in one) C130 can transport troops, but is unarmed and won't be heading into a hot LZ. The Valkyrie is more like a bigger Hind helicopter or an armed Osprey. An analogue of the C130 would be a Genesis Starliner fitted for troop transport.

So... loading it up with golf carts and then have people use their two seats and the jump seats and one can fit a ton of people in this ship.
